WELCOME to Titans Town.

The Gold Coast Titans today begin counting down the days to their date with destiny as the team single- handedly carries the hopes of Queensland into the NRL final series The Titans will face off against the New Zealand Warriors in a home semi-final on Friday night in what fans and club officials hope will be the first step towards the club's inaugural NRL premiership The Warriors will face a Titans team craving success and hell-bent on sending popular playmaker Mat Rogers out a premiership winner.

General admission tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow and with 26,103 fans turning out to see Friday night's win over Wests Tigers, the game looks ikely to sell-out.

Diehard Titans fan Doug Kirby is already preparing for the clash, dyeing his hair blue and yellow in honour of his beloved team.

He said he was confident the Titans could beat the Warriors, but urged fans to come out in force."We really need the Gold Coast to come out and support the team, just like last week," he said.

"The Warriors have a great supporter base here on the Coast, so it will be a battle off the field too to see who can cheer their team over the line.

" Mr Kirby said the Mat Rogers' factor would play a vital role in the finals"

"There is not one Gold Coast fan out there that doesn't want him to retire with the premiership ring he deserves," he said.

Premier Anna Bligh has also thrown her support behind the team, declaring the Titans a serious premiership threat

."Nothing unites a city or a state more than a winning sporting team," she said.

The Titans are on a winning streak and it's a very real possibility that they could win their very first NRL premiership

"Here's hoping a very vocal home crowd and the knowledge that the whole state is behind them can get them over the line

." Excitement is also spreading among the players, with several taking to Twitter to urge fans to continue their support.

"Home semi next week. We'll need everybody on board. Boys will be preparin(g) as usual, but need this city to be ROCKING. Crank it up a notch," posted captain Scott Prince after the victory over the Tigers.

Wallaby star Matt Giteau has also sent his support from South Africa through his former teammate Rogers.

"Pass on my congrats to the team. Super efforts," he posted in response to a Tweet from the retiring Titans star...
