You could really go to town on it, adaptive features like if it's a close game, the crowd will boo offside to milk a penalty.

It'd be exciting to goto each venue and experience their atmosphere and colour.

Thats good to know. I bought my copy from there 2 days ago, took it home to find out there is no franchise mode.......
Bitterly disappointed, minor improvements over Rugby League 2 which was released 5yrs ago.
I havent played online yet though - any good?

It comes into its own on multilayer, having lots of fun. Only issue is, when a player leaves it doesn't count as a win for the other guy.

I'm sticking with it, it could be the only RL game for the next 5 years.

P.S. Brad I'm on PS3, can't play online at the moment because i'm shaped.

I reckon I'm gonna wait until I can pick it up for $20. It's made by the same guys who made the other terrible versions, and I have absolutely no confidence that they've got it right this time. That and I pretty much don't have time to play at the moment!

You won't have to wait long. I heard a bloke saying he took his into cash convertors 2 days after he bought it, and he wasnt the first - they all ready had a copy on the shelf.

I had mine for 4 days, played it three times. Complete scam IMO. Took it back to EB and put the money on two other pre-orders.

From what i hear it is a stripped down version of the WII game, has even less features

The Wii version still has Franchise mode, but has piss poor graphics and game play.
The PS3 version has much better game play and graphics, but no franchise mode.
