I expect Manly to be on the end of a hiding this weekend. The Tigers are primed to start the season with a bang and nothing about Manly suggests they are ready. Still the sides on paper look relatively evenly matched and this could be the game of the round for entertainment value.

Hopefully Lote has a good game, Manly will try and test him.

Too bad the game is a Monday, might have got more fans to the game to see Lote if it was on any other day.

20-4 to sea eagles half time, ref is awful and the tigers should have had a 2nd but there was a forward pass that obviously wan't forward.

WOW game of the round by fay, trailing 20-4 with 21 minutes left tigers score 2 tries in two minutes, then chris heiheignton gives away his 5th penalty and its manly up 22-14, chris lawrence scores with 10 minutes left, 20-22 manly, after tuquiri makes a break and injurys brett stewart robbie farah puts in a kick and sets up gareth ellis for his 1st nrl try ever and tigers are up 22-26, manly blow their last chance 10meters out and a cheap shot from george rose on daniel fitzhenry erupts a brawl with 10 secs left and rose is sin binned. benji kicks the ball out after the penalty winning the game for the tigers.

Yep definitely the best game of the round and we had to wait until Monday for it. Would have loved to have been there, Sydney are spoilt for NRL games.

Ellis was awesome. Lote had a strong return to Rugby League, he will be a great success.

Looks like Stewart and Wolfman will be out long term... in unrelated news Gold Coast play Manly in Round 7.

I'm so happy Tigers won that game. Manly tried to bash them out of it. They often get over zealous in their tackling and try to bash teams into submission.
None of the commentators made any mention of the fact that the game seemed to turn completely around once the ref put Manly on warning for their excessive rough play.
Once the Tigers had a bit of space their true talent came to the fore.
