Haven't kept up with off season news and testing this year. Should make for a couple of surprises come Round 1.

Sebastian Vettel wins as Mark Webber survives crash on Valencia circuit

RED Bull's Sebastian Vettel won the European Grand Prix, dominating the race from pole position while his teammate Mark Webber survived a spectacular crash on the Valencia street circuit.

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton was second followed by team-mate Jenson Button.

Webber emerged unhurt after his Red Bull became airborne and eventually speared into a tyre barrier after a collision with Heikki Kovalainen's Lotus on lap nine.

It was Hamilton's third second-place finish in Valencia, after overcoming a drive-through penalty for overtaking the safety car.

Hamilton leads the overall standings with 127 points, ahead of world champion Button on 121.

Vettel's second win of the year lifted him to third on 115 points with Webber fourth on 103.

OMG that crash is absolutely terrible. So glad Mark Webber is ok, could have easily been the end of him! Very lucky!

The amount of times that Mark has flipped his car like that over the years is unbelievable.

Well later on tonight Mark faces his biggest challenge. I couldn't help but feel for Mark last night during qualifying. He wasn't on his game and it has proven costly. It's going to be an uphill battle but all it takes is a couple of mistakes up front and suddenly he will be heading towards the championship.

My fingers are crossed.
