French team hit by swine flu; Four Nations tournament in doubt

SWINE flu has hit the Four Nations rugby league tournament after several members of the French team came down with the virus this week.

A New Zealand report quoted France's coach Bobby Goulding as saying the whole team had the virus.

There has been no official statement if the development will affect this weekend's match between France and New Zealand; or if the whole tournament is in doubt.

Australia is scheduled to play England early on Sunday Brisbane time.

I doubt the tournament is in doubt. There are still 3 other nations at worst. Surely France can get a team on deck. I'd be devastated not to be able to see France play again.
