Default Kumuls v Tonga Sunday Oct 25th

Just a quick reminder/notification that the Pacific Cup 2nd Final qualification match featuring Dave Mead will be shown on nrl.com.

Winner of this tournament will qualify for next years 4 Nations.

Im pretty sure the winner of the Pacific Cup will come from this Kumuls/Tonga match.

    Mead will be at fullback.

Kumuls thumped the Tongans who looked to struggle bigtime with the humidity.

It was this time last year when Mead sprung into contention for a wing spot and after today you could very well stick him at fullback for the Titans and he'd have great influence in the team.

    Scored 2 tries.

The Kumuls are slowly becoming stronger under Adrian Lam.

I really enjoyed watching the Kumuls, Mead was very very good at #1.

The heat did have a massive effect on Tonga. As the commentators said, most are Australian based, so they really felt it.

great to see mead get a shot at the fullback position, great experience for him once again and he will only come back as a better player from the experience which is great for the titans, plus it has given Carty some food for thought if the titans do get in a pickle with the fullback position
