Parramatta CEO says Eels working on classic jumper, logo
PARRAMATTA chief executive Paul Osborne has given Eels fans clamouring for a return to an Eighties-style jumper and the club's traditional logo a huge boost by telling them "You won't be disappointed...."
Osborne fielded repeated questions today on whether or not the Eels were planning to return to a more classic jersey design while he was blogging for The Daily Telegraph' ahead of tonight's preliminary final clash with the Titans.
"Working on that right now," said Osborne in reply to one fan's query.
"We'll have a great heritage strip which we'll play in a few times and will be changing both our logo and jumper for 2011," he told another.
"I like the fact that at some clubs a grandfather can buy his grandson the same jersey design he wore when he was a kid supporting their team. Tradition is so important to me."
