Mad Monday time for the Dragons aswell hahahaha
Titans need to unearth an impact forward. The pack is solid, but I don't think their is anyone who scares the opposition like Fuifui or Watmough or Dave Taylor.
Need to offload more and create doubt for the defence. Lack of offloads is the one thing that surprises me because as a player Cartwright was brilliant at offloading.
i rkn taga has to be it. just need a hard running and hitting guy
tbh wasnt boof's year, last year he had amazing ofloads and stuff, this year saw little from the guy
he needs a big 2010 if we wanna go futher
how u see the backline? zillman mead rogers tonga gordon campbell prince?
Carty showed a bit of his hand last in the parra game by moving Mead into the centres with 15 to go. Tomane and him will carve up next yr.
The backline could look like this come round 1.
Zillman
Gordon
Rogers
Mead
Tomane
Presto
Prince
Esi is a good 6mths away from having a decent Shoulder and will not walk back into the team.
Para's forwards showed us how it's done. They're strong, aggressive and have absolutely no fear. We've got Tomane but we still need some improvement in our forward pack imo.
Apart from offloads we need the centres that can attack and score point
Thankfully Delaney has gone, he scored 1 try this year
Other centres to name a few scored plenty more
Folau 16 (some prob on the wing)
Hodges 3
Idris 7
Lyon 9
Inglis 12
Cooper 3
Often our backs get starved of possession maybe because of the limited options out there, so time for some weapons to be used, give Mead/Gordon a run outside Mat (who ALWAYS knows where the tryline is ) and maybe we will see some decent points scored out wide.
Go the TITANS!
I honestly think we need some taller wingers.
Speed is wonderful but if it's combined with height it's unbeatable.
Do what all the other teams do, put the ball up in the air and pray the opposition spills it.
tbh mead was great under the high ball in the world cup, they just need back up from there centres who provide some cover :S
and gordon would make a better centre wouldnt he?
esi is just a big guy and did well for us, i hope he is still there.
Greg Bird could link up with Gold Coast Titans

Could be a Titans target...Greg Bird. Source: The Daily Telegraph
GREG Bird's NRL career could be revived by the Gold Coast Titans pending the outcome of an appeal against his conviction for glassing his American girlfriend.
The former Australian Test five-eighth has been in outstanding form for the France-based Catalan Dragons in English Super League, with Dragons coach Kevin Walters keen for him to stay on next year.
Bird, who was sentenced to at least eight months jail after being convicted for recklessly wounding Katie Milligan, is due to appeal against the verdict in the District Court on November 23-24.
French sources say Bird has been sounded out by the Titans as halves partner for skipper Scott Prince in 2010.
Centres Chris Walker and Brett Delaney will play for English clubs Bradford and Leeds next year, and the Titans are keen to strengthen their backline stocks.
Walker was signed by the Titans as a foundation player in 2007 despite a troubled past in the NRL, and after a rocky beginning proved a model citizen.
Bird played two Tests for Australia and four Origin games for the Blues in 2007-08.
He has put on weight since moving to France after being shown the door by Cronulla, and has been playing lock for Catalan, who beat Wakefield 25-16 in an elimination final yesterday.
If circumstances allowed the Titans to sign Bird it is unlikely the NRL would intervene, although it has issued an edict to clubs that if they sign a player with a poor record they are equally culpable if there is further trouble.
Bird's manager Gavin Orr confirmed last night the Titans had expressed interest, along with several other clubs.
"I get calls from clubs from time to time wanting to know what Greg might do," Orr said. "The Titans have been in touch, but everything hinges on his court case."

Whats happening with Vave? I think he deserves a run in the top side! Hes a hard hitting and offloading specialist! We need more grunt up front with decent centres and i think we could go all the way!
