Default Titans vs Broncos....Almost a Home Semi For Them!

Ok people, we NEED to get as many Titans supporters as we can to fill the stadium next Sat. Worst case scenario has happened.....we play the Broncos and they have a huge season ticket holder contingent that will be able to purchase tix tomorrow (mon).
We CANT be outnumbered at our own home ground.
Anyone who can needs to buy a few extra tix tomorrow before they're on sale to the public Tues.
This is a call to arms!!!!

I'm planning on picking up tickets for me and five others. Looking on ticketek though, its says club members can only get 2 tickets per membership?

This match up is too good to be true!!

I hope there are 20,000 Broncos there cos I love the thought of sending them all home in a packed Bombay Express on the back of a 20-point shellacking!!!

There is one thing for sure - motivation will NOT be an issue this week and if Lockyer et al think our boys are going to turn out the same way they did against the Sea Eagles they are in trouble.

I could think of an easier team to beat in the finals but there is not a team I would RATHER beat.

OK.... this is huge...... we have to outbuy them......................

If there is anyone out there that is not a member we have to know so we can try and get tickets for you tomorrow before they go on public sale. My understanding is 4 tickets each member can buy.

Its all very short notice but I really dont like the looks of this. It would not be a shock if it came to Tuesday and there are sweet F all tickets left. There are an army of Bronco s member that will be buying up big tomorrow. To them this may as well be a home final.

Lets get this rocking........ If you need a ticket and can get payment to a member for them to buy you one.... then hand s up........

I have 6 2009 memberships all up so thats 24 tickets I can get...................

seriously everyone..... I doubt our chances of tickets on Tuesday..... other members out there please put up your hand if you can also get tickets..............

the bronco s are a powerful force on this sort of stuff and you can bet they will be trying to out number us.

    Here's to 2015

That's what I read in that email/heard here, but for some reason the Ticketek website says 2. It doesn't really effect me as we have 4 memberships.

This is from the Ticketek website.
    TICKET LIMIT:
Club Members: 2 tickets per unique code
NRL.com pre sale: 8 tickets per unique code
General Public: 8 tickets per person

I like your theory but don't like the chances. In saying that.........I have 7 memberships (cards) x 4 = 28 seats so someone PM me..

oh......and I am working on the coast tomorrow so I can meet up with any potential customers if someone wants to borrow my cards for a transaction or two.... i.e. I am not purchasing the tickets.

From NRL.com. I don't reckon the bean counters could have asked for a better set of match-ups, but ours is the best by far:

Brisbane warmed up for next weekend's all-Queensland finals blockbuster with a 22-10 victory over Canberra at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday night.

Canberra embarrassed Brisbane 56-0 the last time they met but the finals-bound Broncos have not dropped a game since.

The 68-point turnaround by Brisbane completed the NRL's finals jigsaw puzzle and the 35,112 turnout helped set an all-time single season NRL crowd record of more then three million fans.

Brisbane led 8-6 at half time after a converted try to lock Corey Parker, who also slotted a gift penalty goal for an early 8-0 lead.

The Raiders kept the game alive, halfback Josh McCrone putting Kiwi Test forward Bronson Harrison through a hole and then backing up to score himself.

But tries to Sam Thaiday (52nd minute) and young flyer Jharal Yow Yeh in the 58th off a lovely Justin Hodges pass pushed Brisbane out to a handy 16-6 lead.

Parker's second try in the 65th minute, after he broke through two defenders and reached out to plant the ball over the line, handed the Broncos a 22-6 cushion with 15 minutes to play.

McCrone made it a double when he showed exciting speed swooping on a Brisbane handling error and sprinting 40 metres to score.

The Broncos have the momentum heading into their showdown on the Gold Coast, the Titans hammered by Manly at the weekend and having injury clouds over utility specialist Mat Rogers (hamstring) and Luke O'Dwyer (shoulder).

The neighbours have never met in a final but their six clashes have resulted in three wins each.

Surely there is something we can do about this? I guess this has never really happened before, there isn't the imbalance between two adjacent clubs like this elsewhere. And knowing our members, a lot of them haven't even bought their own tickets yet.

Can't they limit the amount Brisbane members can buy, this isn't their home final, they shouldn't get equal buying rights when they have at least 5 times the constituency within public transport distance.

The little guy (in this case us) is always going to get the rough end of the pineapple somewhere. All we can do is buy our tickets, and as many others as we can, and then head along to support the boys.

The more they get along, the more there are that will leave with their tails firmly between their legs!!
