It was a pretty good match & one of the lowest scoring 20's games played all year (Maybe Heat effected) but a good win & i look forward to Ryan James playing over the coming years he's a good talent

I agree Pete...for where both teams are on the ladder the game was of a pretty good quality. Very few dropped balls...and they played in oppressive heat.

Hitchcox got 8 stitches into a forehead gash..and I think Taylors teeth went through his lips (assume he wasnt wearing a mouth guard ). Pretty messy.

Jy Hitchcox just cant take a trick. Have just heard he is in hospital with an infection from the head clash. One eye swollen up and closed and the other now 3/4s gone.

I cant believe players at this level or any level of contact sport dont wear mouth pieces. Taylor has caused himself mouth damage and now Hitchcox is in a bad way. If Taylor had worn a mouth guard none of this would have happenned.

Heard last night that Hitchcox will be in Hospital for another 4 nights to have surgery again on monday. Would put him in some doubt for this weekends game i would say.

Mistaken identity im sure Pete. Had day release though...told me he could only leave if his head was strapped up like a mummy.....Cant see him roving around a golf course let alone playing.

Gets the plugs and drains removed tommorrow. And stitching and crap done on Monday
