Sharks signed Vave??

Heard the Sharks have signed Vave for two years. Anyone hear anything about this? Hope it isn't true.

I just read in todays paper that he was unsigned for next year but hopeful of staying here long time. He has trained with the seniors all year and is hopeful of getting a start in 1st grade before the season is out.

He stands head and shouldsers above any other u/20 forward and it would be poor work by the football dept if they do let him go.

But really, fancy signing with the Sharls of all clubs!?!?! He is turning his back on any chance of ever winning a Grand Final.

Well nothing confirmed, but what I was told is that if the Sharks were truly keen on him, they have a good chance of signing him. We know they are cashed up.

Apparently there is something in RLW about this? I don't usually read it.

We'll have to wait and see how this pans out. But I'm with the rest of us, I'd hate to see him leave.

The youngster remains off contract at the end of this season and has attracted big interest from several Sydney NRL clubs.

Yeah so hopefully it's not true. But there have been cases of players saying one thing and doing something else a week later. And it's not really clear when that interview would have taken place. It implies that it's recent, but really it could have been a few weeks ago.
