And amazing thing happened last weekend. The French based Les Catalans Dragons hosted the Warrington Wolves in Barcelona.
A massive 18,150 people showed up. Only a couple thousand at best were Warrington fans and it is hard to see too many more French fans travelling because they average about 8k at home.
Here are some amazing pics of the match. Unfortunately Les Cats lost, but the future is bright for more rugby league in Spain!
