    Round 14: NYC Preview

    Bunch of desperates

Expect the Roosters and Titans to rip in on Saturday afternoon in Gosford. Both teams are outside the eight and in tough times. There is no better tonic than two points.

The Roosters were thrashed by Manly last weekend 42-0 and before that Penrith 30-6. That's 72-6 in a fortnight.

The Titans have lost their last six, giving up 114-28 in the last three.

Both sides hope an injection of players this week helps.

From the Roosters Mark Talanoa is back from suspension and centre Ryan Williamson is close to returning from a broken jaw.

The Roosters have only named 15 players for the second week running. Will Williamson be rushed back in? Will exciting five-eighth Tom Symonds be forced back to the under 20s if Mitch Aubusson passes his fitness test?

Gold Coast have kept new boy Travis Drought at halfback to partner returning five-eighth Jordan Rankin. It allows Kane Lawton to shift back to the hooking position where he started the year.

Gold Coast will look to forge an advantage up front through prop Susiana Vive, who leads the competition hit-ups with 232, 50 clear of his closest rival.

Join myself and Stuart Rapper from 2.30pm EST. on Saturday as we preview look at the NRL round and then call all the Toyota Cup action.

This game will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2 at 3:15pm

A great opportunity to watch our youngsters for those that can't get to games.

Hopefully our boys can break back into the Top 8.

Did Jy Hitchcox get injured again or just get taken off during the 2nd half?

Ryan did get suspended for the state of origin 18's game. Apperently it could have been a 20's game that he was suspended for and qld rugby league had to sign off on it but they wouldnt so that means that he's suspended for 1 game which happens to be the origin game. I personally think that qld were scared of what a talent like james would do to the qld side.
