Round 25: Toga! Toga! Toga!

This is an idea I have had for a couple years now.

Many suporter groups around the world like to do something special for the last home game of the year. For instance fancy dress etc. And considering our Greek ancestry with the Titans, I think in the tradition of one of my all time favourite movies ANIMAL HOUSE that we should host the first annual Legion Toga Party!

It'd be great to start some fun traditions and I think this is a perfect fit.

TOGA! TOGA! TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!



This game is Round 25 against the Wests Tigers @ Skilled Park.

i actually really like this idea.....its one of those things we can do at the last home game (round 1-26) of every year.....

Yeah grant told me this idea he had in the under 20's and im up for this in a way......

But i think instand on just getting the word out here i think we have to make sure it hits the radion and the papers for it to make sure all the legion members are a were of it......and also any1 else who sits in the legion game to game so they can be part of it........

Awesome I didn't realise Grant had the same idea. Looks like its a winner of an idea. We can also do the TOGA! TOGA! TOGA! chant.

Doug Neidermeyer: And most recently of all, a "Roman Toga Party" was held from which we have received more than two dozen reports of individual acts of perversion SO profound and disgusting that decorum prohibits listing them here.

Katy: Honestly, Boon, you're twenty-one years old. In six months you're going to graduate, and tomorrow night you're going to wrap yourself in a bed sheet and pour grain alcohol all over your head. It's cute, but I think I'll pass this time.

Of course we will be good boys and girls. But it would be hilarious to see a bay full of people wearing bed sheets... er...togas. LOL

Next week is a Toga Party! Get in the party spirit at our last regular home game. Let's make it a new tradition and embrace the Titans Roman/Greek origins.

I have this book that has designs for plays on how to make togas. I'll have a look at making up some.

We need at least a few dozen people getting into the spirit.

That's cool. See if we can get enough people on board. It'd be a great bit of fun. But it is voluntary of course.
