Christmas-time matches, snow and rugby league aren't something that we in Australia generally connect to each other.
The idea of an Aussie watching a football match around Christmas-time is something usually left to the diehard fans of NFL or English soccer.
However, for Aussie rugby league's first 60 years, Christmas-time matches were the norm for the Kangaroos on their tours through Britain and France.
With English rugby league now a summer game, and long-form Kangaroo tours a thing of the past, I wonder how good it would have been if they were still the way they once were - how good would it be to watch an Australia v England rugby league Test on tv on Boxing Day morning?
So, I thought it might be interesting to have a look at those 60 years of the Yuletide Kangaroos
