Currently I would easily say that Italy are the disappointment so far. Looks like they spent last night out in Townsville bars and turned up today just to make up numbers. Terrible across the park.

Tonga were awesome for 45 minutes, they just lack a classy 6 or 7 to give this thing a real shake , love the fact Lebanon beat the Frogs too :D
Have to say the French anthem is more painful than any anthem I've ever heard before
Devastated to see France go down. But what a great game. Lebanon won their first World Cup game and PNG won their first since 2000!
How about the ABC news commentary and the Cum-ulls ... made me cringe. My summary: Australia need a Shannon Boyd; England need to bring their own game and not the NRL version. Kiwi looked better without the turncoats. PNG won’t win the big games but will win hearts. Loved Fiji, hated Tonga but both will have a real good crack. Italy got a huge rousing reality check but along with Ireland, Lebanon, France and Samoa can provide nuisance value amongst the lower tiers teams. USA, Scotland and Wales were very disappointing.
Scotland are a disgrace. That is what happens when you neglect a nation for 4 years, let its domestic comp collapse. And then think you can just get an entry pass to the World Cup and dig around for players.
74-6 jesus.
Looks like my new hobby for the next four years will be to be relentless in my criticism of the RFL, RLIF and Scotland Rugby League.
What's the excuse?! They have had years to develop the game there and it's a car drive away. They even had the Magic weekend in Edinburgh in 09 and 10 and they can't even get a semi pro club up and running?
That was beyond embarrassing & it gives stupid records to players
Next game should be the hardest hitting of the tournament, the supporters have been bashing each other in the streets for the past week
Packed in Hamilton. Atmosphere electric. Here go the war dances.
What a fantastic crowd , would love to experience that atmosphere

There's a little too much love going on at the moment
I remember being at the Tonga vs Samoa game at the 2008 World Cup in Penrith. I was very struck that we were onto something then.
Tonga applying pressure well and patiently.
Love the fact they had to stop the game to get another ball because 2 balls had been pinched by the crowd already
