Round 4 team - Titans vs Panthers
Adam Gardini
Tuesday 26 March 2013 2:01 PM
iSelect Gold Coast Titans Coach John Cartwright has today named an extended 19-man squad in the build-up to Sunday’s Round 4 clash against the Penrith Panthers at Centrebet Stadium.
Lock Ashley Harrison (concussion) and centre Brad Takairangi (hamstring) have both been named to take their place in the starting side despite suffering injuries in last weekend’s win over Manly, with utility Luke O’Dwyer and centre/winger Steve Michaels included on an extended six-man bench.
If Harrison and Takairangi are both cleared to play, it will mark the fourth week in a row that the Titans have been able to field the same 17-man squad.
The Titans have won three of the seven previous clashes against the Panthers, with Penrith winning two of the three matches played on their home turf.

TOLD YA'S :( :( this is our hoodoo team
sigh i get so dishearten every time i see someone like micheals in the side... he has had more of a chance then anyone to grab a spot in the starting side but simply isnt n will never be a starting 13 player. we need to get the next generation a go. any other team you would see a under 20's player or someone so just moved to QRL cup given a go. shame shame shame
Unbelievable. Don't we have better options??????????
lol Michaels, onya Carty.
Relax peeps, Michaels isn't going to be on the bench/starting side. Carty's just putting his name in there for the lulz. ;)
Referees: Jason Robinson & Gavin Morris; Sideline Officials: Ricky MacFarlane & Chris Butler; Video Referees: Steve Chiddy & Jared Maxwell
Game over, good win Panthers.
Luke O'Dwyer would've been a better option at centre than Steve Michaels.
mmm. michaels...not a fan in general.
and while weve been here before, does he get once chance in the new team environment to see how he goes.
We all know this was going to happen, Maybe he has beefed up over the off season and put on like 30Kg :|
maybe he has learned how to read the play in defence ... yeah right.
