In an ever increasing time of brand awareness, those employed to project the public image of a company or a brand are often associated with the word 'spin'.
In Who Are You this morning, Bern's guest spent the first part of his career cutting through the spin as a newspaper sports journalist. Now he's on the other side of the wedge in his role as the media manager for the Gold Coast Titans.
Neil Cadigan has done a lot in-between: he's written numerous well-known sports biographies including that of Andrew Johns; he was involved in the Super League; and spent time in the UK.
But the toughest moment of his life was the death of his son Andrew three years ago. He shares his story with Bern.
The Andrew Cadigan Memorial Walk is on 11th October on the Central Coast of NSW.
