Not sure if anyone is interested but the QLD under 16 Murri team is having an opposed session against the Mudgeeraba Redbacks u17's squad at Firth Park Tomorrow night (Tuesday) before their match against the NSW Koori's at CBUS Stadium on the weekend.
Our boys (Redbacks) will be fielding a strong side with the exceptions of Ethan Paikea,Brent Woolf & Sam Clarke who are unavailable due to MM commitments.
I'm expecting some serious pace & skill from the Murri Boys.

The Murri boys had a good hit out against the Redbacks last night i couldn't name any of their players but there was a centre & a back rower on the left edge that really looked good very quick with rock solid defence also either their no6 or 7 he's a Redhead so easy to pick out of a crowd , he was very deceptive & had a few players clutching at fresh air.
It was supposed to be just an opposed session with not much more defence than grab but after a few of the Murri boys put on some heavy shots which was a mistake against a much larger pack of forwards & after Mudgee returned the favour the ref called a halt to play & the boys settled down after all the Murri boys are playing on Friday night..
The match finished 2 tries to 1 in favour of the Redbacks but considering they have been Premiers for the past 4 years & are a year older the Murri boys can hold their heads high , nice kids too :thumbsup:
