Chalky Odwyer selection is for his utility value & will probably between him & Brown to make the starting 17 but Meyers injury must be worse than expected.
Prince is no certainty to play so i'll guess there will be others travelling with the team.

If we can get away with a win here, we will be in great stance! All our players (bar Gordon) are not too far off. Hopefully we will have the full compliment against the Tigers.

Maybe after this week we could put Tomane on the bench for Brown and move Tomane into the centres for Bodene after about 30mins.
-
That's a very settled Cowboys 17.
As well as we plyed against Canberra we still relied on opposition mistakes to get the win so we will still need the Cowboys to be the Knights version and not the Storm one to get away with the 2 points here.
Friend will only make a difference if the rest of the team still roll their sleeves up and do their fair share. If they drop their intensity even 1% the effectiveness of his return will be nullified.
The Cowboys like to play ver expansive football and generally score at least 3 tries even when they are the losing team so we will need to score points because it is almost inevitable that they will.

from the looks of things tomane will need to score 6 tries next weekend to even factor into cartys mind. The guy is a monster and a genuine threat in the air and attack. I just cant understand how he keeps getting over looked for a second rower. I feel sorry for the bloke.
If Prince is out and mead doesnt move to fullback and tomane came in on the wing i can only assume tomane has done something to really piss the coach off

If we lose in a low-scoring game Cartwright will say our defence is great with Thompson in the centres, and the side was unlucky to lose a tight contest.
If we lose and get flogged Cartwright will say we need Thompson in the centres to sure up our defence.
If we win, Cartwright will never change the team.
I can't see a scenario where Tomane will get picked, short of injuries.
