Joel Tomkins is poised to make his first appearance of the season for Wigan Warriors' match against Hull KR.

Second rower Bryan Fletcher, who has a slight calf injury, will miss out.

Hull KR welcome back Australian prop Michael Vella, who lost his ever-present engage Super League record to attend the recent birth of his baby son.

He takes the place of Makali Aizue, while stand-off Scott Murrell also makes the 18-man squad.

Hull KR held off a determined Wigan fightback to win for the second time at the JJB Stadium this season.

Luke Dyer and Ian Hardman both went over in the final 10 minutes of the first half to give the visitors a 10-0 lead at the break.

Trent Barrett cut the gap with a try, converted by Pat Richards, before Paul Cooke kicked a penalty for Hull KR.

Richards went over again 10 minutes from time but his conversion hit the post, which ultimately proved crucial.

Wow what an upset! Just when people thought KR were a write off they pull this over Wigan.
