I am trying to talk my dad into making the trip down to this game (It is a fair trip there and back :p) because he is a mad Parra supporter. If we end up going, I will pop over and say hello to everyone :)

I'd love to see you Steelers. That is what the Legion is all about, meeting people. Sure a lot of people can't make many games or have GOLD tickets etc. But I love to see fans come over during pre match, half time and after the match.

The Legion concept is wide spread, I think we are ALL one big LEGION of Gold Coast fans, no matter where you sit.

did u meet there last time?.i stood there prior to kick off and didnt seem like any legion were there.I was also looking for the diehard flag,ill come over again sunday,were in stand 2 next door!!

Yea I was running late and only just made it for kick off. I will be there nice and early this Sunday to pitch camp. Hope to see you all there.

He did offer, and I may very well be taking him up on it!
Just finding out if a mate down the coast is working on saturday, if not, I might head down the day before for drinks with them.
Hopefully they'll come to the game either way. :D

So who is going to the game? Only the 2nd game our Titans have played on the Coast this NRL season. It will be great to re-energise them with an enthusiastic and passionate home crowd.

It is going to be a huge match and I'm confident we can over come Parramatta in a good match.

I am also working on the Legion's battle banner which I hope to debut at the match.

I will be up for the game but sitting in my seats in the grandstand,,, luxury after the hill at Brooky. (I can't beleive I told BringbackWillie I liked Brooky)
Will try and get over to say hi to the Northern Legion from a Southern Legioneer. (is that really a word). Will be looking to say hi to Diehard, didn't get a chance to talk at Brooky.

For next year have you considered having a gold and Steel arm to the Legion. I love the idea behind the legion and want to be part of it, but also love sitting in the Gold section (personally, don't really like the view from behind the posts). Might be a good idea to have a gold section at Skilled Park as a legion section, as well as the main one behind the posts of course. If any help was needed with the Gold Legion, I would be more the willing to offer my services.

I'm coming down with my son. He's a Parramatta supporter so one of us will be having a quiet trip home!
Which end of the stadium is the scoreboard? Is it possible to walk from one end to the other?
Where do others think is the best viewing spot for GA tickets?

I think it's the opposite end to where you come in, but yes, you can get from one end to the other quite easily.
I think all GA is behind goal posts, so you're stuck there either way.
The scoreboard is also the unlicensed area, so that could be better if you're with kids.
Downside is, there's only one video screen (unless they've put in another?) which is also down our end, so you can't really see it.

I think the battle banner will have to wait another week, no way I'll be able to finish it without running myself into the ground.

Might be worth handing out flyers as people enter the ground, cause not too many people actually know the legion exists.

I'd love to be a part of it, but have a gold seat and as much as the view isn't the best from where I'm sitting (not many go viewing points at Carrara), I prefer it to behind the posts.

I think you've hit the nail on the head.
Noone knows the legion exists, and yeah... noone in their right mind WANTS to sit behind the posts. ;)

I'm hoping the atmosphere can overcome that, and once we build up a good base of people, it should do. And ideally we'll get a decent bay at Robina for next year.
