Jetstar Gold Coast Titans CEO Michael Searle has announced he will resign from his post effective immediately sighting "other opportunities that were to hard to ignore" as his reason.

A club insider said, "The news has hit us pretty hard. Michael is the leader of this franchise and for him to be poached by the AFL is huge loss."

The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans are due to take on Cantrbury today at Tesltra Stadium.

What about Eddie Jones at the Broncos training session? That wasn't an april fools joke. That was sad. Someone has to save the REDS. It may as well be the Broncos and Wayne Bennett because nobody else from union can do it. Go the League. LOL.
