Jetstar Titans v Penrith Panthers

Friday night March the 2nd and for the first time EVER the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans will play on the Gold Coast, in front of a community that has waited eight long years to have a team back playing in the National Rugby League.

The match against Penrith is the Clubs final trial before the Telstra Premiership opener and Coach John Cartwright will field his strongest line up against his old club the Penrith Panthers.

Luke Swain, Preston Campbell and Football Manager Scott Sattler also have fond memories of their time at the Panthers as all were part of the Clubs 2003 Premiership winning team.

There?ll be little time for pleasantries this time round though with the Titans look to put on a good show for what promises to be a capacity crowd at Carrara Stadium.

Don?t miss your chance to be apart of this historic event, book your game tickets and season memberships through Ticketek on 07 34046669 right now and get ready to take off with the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans in 2007.

Are there any plans for The Legion to be sitting together? Is everyone buying General Admission tickets, and/or sitting in any particular part of the ground?

I have three general admission tickets and plan on sitting on the scoreboard end. I'll be there early and I invite others to join us!

General admission area, southern side (near the road). That's the drinkies end! That's where we'll be. What about trying to organise a bit of a "meet & greet" at some designated location at some designated time? There's usually a big area just inside the ticket gates where we could all meet up about an hour before main game kicks off? Gives us all plenty of time to get/be there, say G'day, take some pics and get back to our seats/patch of grass before the boys take the field.

Just an idea.....

It was good to meet Diehard and Dee13, and under the scoreboard is an easy spot for anyone to find.

That could be a good spot for us all to gather in home games during the year. Some might prefer the licensed end, but if anyone is wanting to bring kids it's going to be ideal for them, and looks like plenty of room up the back for more flags like Diehard's!

Right on, it's the perfect place. The licensed end, it's like sardines. And at least the unlicensed end is open to all and has a good vibe. Can always drink after the game or elsewhere.

Lots of flag waving room. Which is important cause I don't want to impede vision or annoy people. This situation, everyone comes out a winner.
