The Titanium Bar nears completion!!

Just two days before the much anticipated launch of the Titanium Bar, the people charged with its construction joined Jetstar Titans players and administrative staff in a soft launch of the Surfers Paradise venue last night.

The Titanium Bar will open it's doors to the General Public this Thursday the 8th of February and we invite you to join us in celebrating the Coasts hottest entertainment destination.

I might walk down there after work on Friday for a drink. I have been watching the workers finishing off the final touches today its starting to look really good.

I reckon they had about 50 guys working there today.

Looks very nice. I could picture myself gazing out above my beer out on to the water. Then consuming too much and giving the fish a feed on the stagger back to my hotel.

The bar is just a stone throw from my hotel, so I'll definately be visiting real soon. It's a great position, particularly relaxing on the decking watching the sun setting with a beverage in hand.
One question though. I know we have all been waiting in anticipation for the bar's opening, but can anyone explain the real connection, financial or other, to the Titans team.
Just curious.

The Official Off Field venue of the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans opened last night in spectacular style. More than 500 invited guests joined Titans players, sponsors and administrative staff in celebrating the opening of the Surfers Paradise venue.

The Titanium Bar is open for business from today (8/02/07) - call (07) 5538 9677 for more information or to make a reservation.

I heard on the news about what street the Bar was on, and what it formerly was - looking at the picture here though, I just realised that it's literally right where the main bus stop is in Surfers!!! Woohooo!!! What a FANTASTIC location!!! :D:D:D

Went in on Friday night...

Didnt make it in until around 12 ish and by then a lot of the crowd were starting to make there way into the local clubs. Very impressed with the fitout and views over the river.

Since I am a 5 minute walk from the bar I can see myself quite regularly spending a lazy Saturday afternoon having a few schooners making use of the TAB facilities with the boys.

went for a quick squizz at the new titanium bar this afternoon.I couldnt remember what street it was on so popped in to the movieworld shop for directions!.Turns out the girl working there is a huge fan and we rattled on about our hopes for 2007 before i went to see the new place.I must say its very swank and posh and even though my missus hates all sport i ve told her its not a rough sports bar as she imagines from back in the uk,and promised to treat her to lunch on monday there if shell let me go to some away games this season.She says it depends on the food so im hoping itll knock her socks off then im sorted for the season....yippee..thanks the titans and good show last night..see you all at lismore.. :D

I am off to the Titanium bar on Saturday night, so far the staff that have set up a Birthday party for my mum ave been excellent.

Little dissapointed in todays age not to have the Game on, I dont need channel NINE coverage, A simple Video taken from a vantage point, live stremed to the Titanium bar, and projected on the big screen will do :D

It was the old Pink Elephant bar if I remember correctly.

I just got back from the bar, Nobody knew the score, and trust me i ask everybody.

Great feed, a bit glitzsy for me, great service, actually fantasic service.

I must say, im full of caviar, wine and seafood, and totally enjoyed the night.

Yep, I've go to agree with you here. The club has done a fantastic job this time round and it has a totally different feel about it. The Gold Coast are here to stay this time.
