I half watched Ned Kelly, I feel asleep.

It wasn't due to the subject matter but more to do with my lack of sleep.

It looks alright so far, but I heard that it got some stale reviews.

I'm actually researching it because I'm making a short film based on Ned Kelly.

The better half made me watch Ever After last night.

Good if you like fairy tales and a happy ending with lots of love and goo and evil step sisters.

Bad if you like guns and explosions and cars and stuff!!

Watched 'Metallica:Some Kind of Monster' last night. Its brillant if your into rock/metal/documentaries.Tells how much that have been through since forming the band and there struggle of the last few years losing a bass player to another group, lead singer sent to rehab for 14months during the making of St.Anger also confronts the fears and demons inside all of them.Very interesting movie even if you only have a slight interest in the group. 4.5/5

I went along with my mother and sister to see Pride and Prejudice on Sunday ... a waste of $6.50 that was!

If you are thinking about it do yourselves a favour and stick with the book or the BBC version. Much more time consuming but if you are even considering going then you have too much time on your hands anyway.
I'd give it about a 3 out of 10 only because Keira Knightley does a good job, the rest of the cast seem to get lost in the translation to old English. As a result most of the conversation has been reworded which lead to the story losing a lot of its charm. Also as you can imagine they cut so much out of it that there are scenes that barely make sense.

It was an awesome movie - I am biased as I love the band, but friends of mine went who dont like em and they loved it from the docu angle. Having said that they are heavily involved in the music industry so they can appreciate the struggles.

Yeah Batman Begins is a brillant film, and surprisingly is really aimed more at adults as kids would struggle with the story line ect.I loved the bit towards the end where that masked guy was tripping out and batman was this big black monster with black ooze coming from his mouth.Bloody gold special effects!!!

there's some good horror movies coming out this week. Wolf Creek sounds like it's going to be a great Aussie horror movie...with lot's of gore, and best of all based on true stories. There the most scary when based on real facts. SUpposed to be based on Ivan Mallet and other missing persons stories all rolled into one.

You've gotta watch 'Saw', what a great movie.
It has an ending you don't see coming.
Can't tell you anymore.......I would have to kill you.

Just watched one of my favourites again tonight, Horseplay.
It makes a return to my dvd player in the week leading up to the Melbourne Cup every year since 2003.

It features the footage of Ethereal (or Torpedo as the movie calls her) winning the 2001 Cup and has some other great moments that anyone with an interest in horse racing would enjoy ... apparently horse fixing is a great Australian tradition LOL

Watched The Ringer on box office last week. Pretty funny. Its Johnny Knoxville from Jackass pretending to be ******ed and rigging the special olympics. All but the last 15mins or so was good, but the end just went down hill. I think they quickly tried to repent on all the earlier sins from the movie by trying to put some sort of 'message' in it, which they failed miserably at.

I watched bit's n pieces of that movie, I like the bit where they get busted coming home late (they were at the strippers) and one dude says "We just went out for ice-cream", then another dude says 'When the F%$k did we get ice cream".................

I watch 'Click' the other day. Had it's typical Adam Sandler Comedy in it (which I love), but it got a bit weird towards the end..........
