Stuart to lead Kangaroos in 2007
Ricky Stuart has been re-appointed as Australian rugby league coach for 2007.
Stuart took charge of the Kangaroos this season, helping them recapture the Tri-Nations title lost to New Zealand in 2005.
Australian Rugby League chairman Geoff Carr said Stuart had deserved his re-appointment.
"The Tri-Nations this year reminded everyone of just how important the Kangaroos are in Australian sport, and Ricky did a great job in boosting that profile," he said in a statement.
The Kangaroos won five of their six Tests under Stuart in 2006, the only defeat coming at the hands of Great Britain.
