Nah the last time I was into mucking around with graphics Photoshop 5.5 was the new kid on the block, but now its old skool and thats what I'm using, only just started playing around with it again a couple days ago.

It looks really nice there Teegy... and will serve Sonny_Skill well until someone can get the shining effect done, I have PM'd the request to MonaroMan too as that is his signature, and he is the only one I know who can do the shining thing.. ;)

Williams how do you get the iamges to fit in the sig and how do you add extra images.
To get my images to fit into my signitures. I rightclick on the image and go down to 'image size...', a popup then appears and i can change the size in pixel format.

To add extra images, i open my signiture. Leave that open, then open another image. I crop it down to my preferred size, transparent any bits that i need to. Select the image. Right click, Copy. Click onto the signiture, and right click, paste. I can then move it to the desired position using my mouse.

I use PhotoFiltre. Hope that helps.

Up the top, in the toolbar section. There is a small square with grey and white squares, with a little black man in it.
Click on that and it will come up with a popup.
You cannot select what colour you want to transparent, So fill in whatever you want to transparent into a colour that isnt in the image and then click on the transparent logo.
Move the slide to how much you want to do it.
Preview it. If you like then go 'ok'.

You are all doing a really good job... keep it up, the more you practice, the better you can become... :)


Some helpful hints for you all to make those signatures look even more special...

- Play around with the brightness and contrast levels, contrasts in particular can make things more realistic and jump out of the page.

- Use Borders, they complete a signature and make it stand out

- Don't try to be too complicated, I have realised over my time creating signatures that the simplest ideas are often the best.

- Layers work really well... so try to layer what you are doing and make it overlap, so it looks real professional.

- Finally as I said, practice makes perfect, I wasn't good at making sigs when I started, in fact I was hopeless at it, but I kept working and now I can do it in not too much time and with a fair result... but that is from a lot of practice, the more you practice... the more you find things that work and things that make your signatures your own... so keep up the work people, you are doing a great job... :)

I have no idea to be honest... S&T I do get what you mean though, but TBH... there is only so far I can go ATM without reading the whole book on brushes or buying CS2... :lol!: .... and as many here are aware, I don't have the time... :satan:

I will however keep working on it and get the cutouts better... ATM I am using lasso tool and eraser, however I have started getting use to blending and stuff like that now... so hopefully the cutouts will improve.... :clap:

Great to see so many trying out signatures.... keep going people, they are looking great.... :)

Williams I love the Manly and Benji Signatures, remove a bit of the shadow on the players and they will look great, try using the relief tool on some of the players to get a more natural look... otherwise they are some of the best I have seen... :D :D
