Was reading about how Basketball in this country after a few good season years ago is struggling now.

Made me think does anyone care??

Personally I hate the sport and think it a blight on our landscape...

Anyone?

I dont feel as much hate as you about it. I used to play it as a kid and loved the sport...i was never fond of NBL but loved the NBA. The sport doesnt appeal to me anymore...i dont care about it.

I don't like it, but can understand why the Americans do. They love seeing sportspeople that act like gooses.

don't tread to much out of your own backyard, there's plenty of Aussie sportspeople that act like gooses.
i like basketball, used to play it.unless you've been to an NBL or NBA game live you can't really appreciate the spectacle or the sport.the NBA is alot more exciting, quicker and action packed than the NFL or MLB IMO.

But they don't act like they do in America.

no but the people who run the game do. The commentators do, the stadium officials do.

Not really a fan but I'll watch for a little while if the Kings are playing.

I don't think indoor sports do well in a country with a climate like ours, people want to be outdoors.

...people want to be outdoors.

That is a good and valid point. I would prefer to play any sport outdoors.

I have been to a few Basketball games.

To make it more interesting they should have both teams start with a score of 90 points each and give them sixty seconds on the clock to play. Game over.

Whenever I have been, the players amble through for most of the game and only the last few minutes they get serious and play their hearts out.

Is that just me .......!!!!!!!!!!
