Hehe, no offence zac, but that's a pretty oldschool PC. But, I suppose it does what you need it to do (I think) and that's what matters.

How does it go with burning DVD's may I ask?

TBH mine is pretty old school too. It's about the standard of an early 2005 computer.

It doesn't have a brand. I ordered the parts from internet sellers, and built it myself.

How much was it? The first computer I had was made in 1998, and my parents bought it for $2500. We have still got that computer, but I would say that the most I could get for it is $5 at the local dump.

Well mine is a old, if not near very old computer... we have a near new 2GHZ Compaq Presario in the lounge but it has to be set up first, and then we will use that along with this computer.

This computer is a Generic, in other words its not a brand name.

If you don't know what you have, right click on the my computer icon, go properties and it has the basic details there;) I ordered mine from a computer shop in Brissi! There was a computer at harvey norman, basically the exact same specs as mine, with a processor not quite as good, and a harddrive nearly as big, and they charged $3999 for it!!!! I was like, OMG, i got mine for $1900 from this shop in brissi, ordered the parts seperately, built it myself (well my brother actually did most of that) You can save so much if you hop on the net and shop around!

The beauty of computers is that they're easily upgradable. A new processor, more ram can do the world of good!

bloody oath, i got new ram and shes runnign a beauty.

mine set me back 2,500 3yrs ago, a mate built it for me, he worked for a local computer company, bad move.

Don't get friends to do exspensive things
first few months cost me nothing but giref
first one of the speakers was busted
then it kept overheating and shut down so bought a extra cooling fan
then motherboard went or the cpu or something
so got it fixed, i akse my mate and he kept palming me off

we are not longer mates i don't want a bar of him, i helped him out heaps in highschool with lending money and lifts and running errands for his buissness, then when i need his expertise to fix it because the sound went and i tried everything, hes busy.

in the end a technican at work fixed it for me for 50 bucks and put all these niffty programs on it that save me memory and anit-spy and what not and finally fixed my sound all for 50 bucks, now thats a top bloke.

so shes running like a little beauty at the moment, haven't had a problem since.

my computer was brought in about 2000 so she is a bit out dated but still runs fairly well, needs more hard drive space and that sort of stuff to make it better and run smoother..
