1 for 52, Ponting very lucky to survive lbw appeal from Ntini.

After typing the above, Gilly is 32 from 29 balls after clobbering another boundary off Pollock.

Ponting survives a good lbw appeal.

The decision was made by the video umpire, the first time ever in Australia.

It was the correct decision.

I didnt catch the start why was clark batting first?

Yeah I missed the start aswell.

Clarke opened because Katich is injured, and besides Clarkes a better opener than Katich anyway.

The World 11 spinners are making the most of this track now as its starting to loosen up abit.

Yeah he did.

Clarke just dropped what would've been a screamer. Sehwag nearly hit the case off it.

Lee on a hat trick to Flintoff. You can bet your bottom dollar this will be a shortish one.

The world 11 needed to be given more time to gel. They should have been given a few more practice matches or something.

They'll come good by the test match. Don't worry about that. Cricket Australia are fools putting it at the SCG. The biggest turner in Australia and the world 11 have Murali and Vettori. It the World 11 are bowling on the 6th Day, Murali will have the thing turning square.

Here comes Bracken again..bowling to Sehwag *waits for 6 over cover*

<edit> 4 down the ground almost killing the umpire..lol close enough :p

PARANoIR

lol...Gilchrist up to the stumps and Bracken fires one down the legside to the boundary for 5.

<edit> happened again lol. I think Gilchrist should go back now, or bowl over the damn wicket.

Warny and Macgill are just as good as Vettori and Muralitharan and are playing on their home turf. An ideal location if you ask me.

Im not saying Warne and MacGill arent as good as Vettori and Murali, I'm saying that the World 11 will be much stronger at the SCG than they wouldve been at other grounds in Australia.

The Indians and Pakistanis will bat much better there, and Brian Lara always performs well there also. If we had of had it on a Ground that doesnt favour spin so much, we would have won it a lot easier.

But Cricket Australia didn't pick the venues, the ICC did. And they were picked about a year ago. I think it is good that they are finally going to play on a 'real' cricket ground. A packed SCG provides the best atmosphere. I just hope it lasts at least until the 5th day.
