Hey guys

Just wondering if you guys think this would be a idea the club could do for fans that don't live on the coast and wanna see there team every weekend.

I was thinking a bus for season ticket holders. Catch the bus on game day from roma st and bus straight to the game and back. I would pay extra for this service and i think alot of fans would knowing they would get there and back again.

What do you guys think

I guess its something that the supporters would have to set up themselves.

I know there was talk about a sydney titans supporters group....so for example if you lived in sydney and were part of this supporter group maybe the supporters group could all chip in to hire a bus/coach thingy and drive it up. Now i noticed you lvied in "Bris vegas" im not good with my geography of QLD but if they were to pass you on the way to the game they could pick you up.

Now i dont want to get your hopes up because there isnt even a supporter group yet...lol but just using that as an example of how it could work.

Then on the other hand there could be a supporter group from brisbane that gets together and does the same sort of thing...hire a coach and drive it to the game.

Catch the train from Roma Street to Nerang, then catch the bus from the station. I'm sure the drivers will let ppl off that are going to the game. Or at worst, i think the stadium is within walking distance of the station. The locals might want to correct me if this is the case.

At The Bulldogs it is done on Game day.... the bus is run by the club and includes the bus fare and the game ticket... its a good idea, but it will depend on if the Titans want to run one I guess... The Doggies Supporter Bus will only run if there is enough people on the bus too, there is a minimum needed to get the bus to run.... :D :D

Won't be a problem after 2007 though, as the new stadium is so close to Robina station.

Id probably think its more realistic to aim at a carpooling service directed through the forum. Good way for the forum members to socialise in a face-to-face sense. Think the brisbanites would jump all over it like a trampoline

I think the best bet for Titans fans from the greater Brisbane area (2008 onwards) is the citytrain nextwork. Next year I will be most probably driving to Titans games are Carrara and in 2008 will use the train to save on fuel ;)

To walk to Carrara Stadium from Nerang is a good half hour walk! Drive?? 5mins!! There is a station at Robina and it would take you roughly 10 mins to walk to the new Stadium! Hope this helps! I live in between both stadiums!

I work Fridays Saturdays Sundays...what a nightmare!

Hang on Jenny, Nerang station isn't in the middle of the suburb though, its a fair walking way from the highway isn't it???

Yes it is...a fair way away from the Centre of Nerang Eel! The ground will be a good half hour walk from the station. But i would imagine that they will have a bus or you can cab it for a couple of $$$...It's only 5 mins drive ;)

Im sure the TrainLink buses from the station would be full on game days.

I think if people catch the train to Nerang then there will be bus services to the station wich is like a bus trip from Roma Street to Suncorp.

Yes I think it would be a good idea for their first season as they could get straight to the game. In the following season there would be no point as the train will stop at robina, right next to the stadium.

I rather like the idea of a bus. Yeah, there's a train, but how full is it going to be?

I don't see the issue as a way of getting to and from the ground, but doing so comfortably.

Being sure of a seat, with no waiting, to and from the game would be great.
