yeah...he was born in NSW....but for some reason earlier this year he was able to be selected for NZ.

Its a pretty good team i think they will go pretty good.

I have just read an article from a few months back it says :

And now today we have the position where the Sharks Luke Covell is under pressure from a desperate Kiwis management team to make himself available for the Kiwis test team for the Anzac Weekend Test. As I understand it, his father is a Kiwi, but Luke was born at Goondiwindi, Queensland, and played his first junior football at Murwillumbah, NSW.

If he elects to be chosen for the Kiwis, then he obviously forgoes any opportunity to represent NSW in State of Origin.

The rest of the article is here and is about players picking and choosing who they play for: http://www.crikey.com.au/articles/2005/04/12-1005-2172.html

Actually Stacey Jones was quite good with his kicking game this season, so i doubt Covell will be added when Jones can do the honours.

I don't think the Kiwis are playing New Zealand A.

It is New Zealand A who are playing the Junior Kangaroos. At least as far as I know.

Eastwood is plenty good enough.

Eastwood has no chance of making it. Not when Jamaal Lolesi, Iosia Soliola, Jake Webster, Nigel Vagana and Paul Whatuira are ahead of him.

I was talking with regards to myself, not others.

Ill rephrase.

Doesnt matter where i go, MY SUPPORT for Soliola will always stay strong.

By the way broncosgirl, Tame wont make it either. He was in the 40 man squad last season, was one of the first players dropped.

Yea, sorry thats what I mean, Tupous will be dropped, I don't really rate him that much.

... But I rate Eastwood alot more obviously, and he out of the two had more chance of making it, but with all those players, he probably wont, but Im just saying hes good enough if he did get picked.

Well it is nice to see that someone has commited support to a good up and coming player. Good luck to him.
