ARL supports cyclone ravaged QLD towns
Tuesday, May 23, 2006 - 9:52 AM

Macquarie Bank and ARL Development will support the cyclone savaged towns of Innisfail, Tully and Babinda on Sunday with a huge free coaching clinic in Townsville.

200 children and their families will be bussed in from Innisfail by Macquarie Bank to the ARL Development Super clinic which will bring together 600 children form the towns of Townsville, Ingham, Tully, Innisfail and Babinda.

The day will be highlighted by the attendance of North Queensland Cowboys players Travis Norton, Steve Southern, Ray Cashmere and Ty Williams.

Brad McCarrol for Macquarie Bank believes the Super Clinic will be a great boost for the families for Innisfail.

?Macquarie Bank has close links with the region and the sugar cane industry, and we felt that we could provide something special for the kids and families form Innisfail, after the difficulties they have had as a result of the cyclone.

Our partnership with ARL Development will enable us to bring the kids and their parents to Townsville, meet the Cowboys players and enjoy a BBQ, and then return home in the afternoon without any costs to the families.?

The coaching clinic will be held in Townsville on Sunday 28th May commencing at 10.00am.

Super idea, anything to lift the spirits of the kids, take them to something they enjoy doing. Massive pat on the back to the ARL and Mac Bank.
