Just heard - brilliant news - might go.

Robbie?s super-sized World Tour
will finish in Australia
Wed 17th May 2006
Robbie Williams, music?s man with the Midas touch who shattered the Guinness Book of World Records for the fastest, and largest, number of concert tickets ever sold in one day ? 1.6 million when the European leg of his World Tour went on sale in November 2005 ? is confirmed to tour Australia and will end his World Tour, Robbie Williams: Close Encounters, here.
Promoter, Michael Chugg, today announced that the ?world?s favourite entertainer and most dynamic showman ever seen?, would perform stadiums in December, playing the country?s five major capital cities.
The ?let me entertain you? stadium-pop giant includes Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane for the first time in five years, and plays Sydney and Melbourne.
At Brisbane?s Suncorp Stadium, Robbie will be the first international act to make use of its concert potential and big-crowd facilities.
Chugg says of the concert coup of the year that ?the country is expected to join the ticket-selling phenomenon already experienced in every territory where Robbie Williams? concerts have gone on sale.?
He sold out five London shows, each with a capacity of 75,000. His Leeds? concert sold out in 90 minutes. Holland sold-out their four Amsterdam Arena gigs in a breath-taking 89 minutes. In Germany a mass of 20,000 fans braved the cold to line the streets of Munich waiting for tickets to go on sale at midnight!
To cope with demand, and in an unprecedented Australian first, tickets will go on sale across two days.
Sydney, sold via Ticketek, and Melbourne via Ticketmaster, go on sale June 6.
Adelaide and Brisbane both from Ticketek, and Perth from Ticketmaster, follow on June 7.
?Alternating the ticketing outlets on different days, in different cities, will provide the best buying opportunities for fans,? said Chugg.
Tickets will be sold with a strict six ticket per transaction limit. An internet pre-sale through robbiewilliams.com Inner Sanctum is scheduled from May 25.
Record-breaking ticket sales are expected for what will be biggest stadium production show to ever tour Australia.
?This is a rare occasion where Australia gets the exact concert that will be seen in the Northern Hemisphere,? say Chugg.
?Because of the size and complexity of this technological monster, they?ll be bringing two stage roofs and rigs from the UK which will run in tandem and leap-frog across the country.?
57 semi-trailers will be on the road. 30 steel containers and 27 trucks will transport staging, production and the six 400amp generators needed to power the pop-hunk?s super-sized show in Australia.
Robbie?s World Tour starts in Dublin on June 9 and visits 14 countries on 44 different dates and will finish in Australia. It is estimated his live audience will total 2.6 million.
Chugg concludes, ?I am very excited that Robbie, whose love for Australia is well known, has agreed to play our major cities.?
Each of the stadium concerts will be a combination of general admission (GA) tickets and allocated seats in the stands. No alcohol or bottles (including plastic) will be permitted in the GA areas. Pocket-size and mobile phone cameras will be permitted.
Concert information like maps, arrival and departure times, and public transport options will be broadcast and printed in local media closer to each concert date.
The 50-million-world-wide-album-seller topped the charts in 18 countries with his latest, Intensive Care. The new single, Sin Sin Sin is out in Australia June 3.
In a story of unparalleled success this Australian tour will ink another chapter in the story that is Robbie Williams.
Don?t miss your chance to be a part of pop history-in-the-making!

I'm assuming that Silver is GA???

It would be too hard to have GA at Suncorp. Silver would be upper tier seats whilst Gold would be lower tier, in front of the stage.
