INJURY-ravaged Sydeny Roosters will be without key forwards Craig Fitzgibbon and Adrian Morley for Friday night's game with Brisbane.

Fitzgibbon has an ankle ligament problem, while Morley will be out for up to two weeks after injuring his wrist in Saturday night's win over the Sharks.

To compound coach Ricky Stuart's problems, back-up forwards Nigel Plum, Adam Shubert and Shane Shackleton are also sidelined with injury.

Centre Ryan Cross will be out for up to six weeks after tearing annkle ligaments against the Sharks.

Stuart said today young front rower David Shillington and former Bulldogs prop Charlie Tonga will have to combat Broncos big men Shabe Webcke and Petero Civoniceva.
