article in today bulletin with an quotes from Rankin, saying he is ready to come to NRL and would love it to be coast if they asked.

Im not too fussed either way, although he was never given a real shake... in a team that ruined Scotty Prince over the last few years, murdered centres like no tomorrow and failed to harness Shannon walkers talent, its not suprising Rankin never quite got there. is this environment a healthier one for him to develop? maybe. maybe not.

but what i loved about it was that he was very clear that he wanted to play for the club where he was born grew up. he says that directly. and that type of loyalty was really refreshing when he could use a few excuses to play to try play elsewhere.
