Who is into the UFC?
Anyone on the GC want to meet up somewhere to watch it?
This will be one hell of a fight card and one not to be missed.

If anyone is interested in watching it somewhere on the GC, give me a call. 0401018646.
My family are going to SeaWorld and everyone else I know is staying home to watch the Ashes. I'm thinking of double dipping at a local pub showing the UFC and the Ashes.

Who is in???

It'll be interesting to see how Anderson Silva approaches this fight.

I was a big fan until he started getting too cocky, and have been hoping for an early knockout for a while. Apart from the last fight were he got caught on the chin, the first Chael Sonnen fight was one of my fave fights, seeing Silva get 4.5 rounds of ground and pound put on him and he had no answer to Sonnens take down. But, the true champion he is, he managed to finish Sonnen with a triangle with seconds to go....

Anyway, now that he has been beaten, i wonder if he will cover up and show more respect this time, or take his usual antics into the Octagon. :fight:

Ended up a few of us down at the local, witnessed some brutal fights, the main event ended with Anderson Silva breaking both his leg bones and literally wrapping his foot around Weidmans knee. They showed the replay in slow motion and the whole pub groaned. Then they didn't show it at all after that. It was pretty gross.

Then we hit the TAB and played some poker at another pub. Not a bad day/night at all.

Don't click on this link if pictures of broken legs makes you squemish!

This is the moment Anderson Silva broke his leg on a checked kick against Chris Weidman.

In some ways this is better, a bit blurry and not as high definition. Still gruesome...

He'll be 40yrs old before he's ready to come back from this, it's all but over.
Shame to end a magnificent career like this, and it all started with clowning around like a ****wit in his first loss to Weidman...... Seriously damages the way he'll go down in the history books.

Yep, he won't recover from that in a hurry and it is unlikely to ever be the same again ... shocking footage of a shocking end to a great career.
