Well it's only ten days away folks! Better get that shopping done before things get serious.

This will be my first Christmas with my new nephew. He is 7 months old. So just big enough to have some fun with it. I was 1.5 months old for my first Christmas.

Ive just really started my Christmas shopping. Cant believe its only 5 days away!

Just got back from 24 hour shopping at Chermside. Glad I did it. Got there at 11pm left at 6am! And I'd never usually shop for any amount of time. Just went with a friend and it was a good opportunity to chat and a thorough shop. It was busy as hell at 11pm. Car park was full. Things quickly died down between. 12-1. Staff were handing out free coffee redeemable at any outlet except Starbucks. You could also get iced coffee or a soft drink. Also got free parking.

Now I'm home and all my shopping is complete after having nothing yesterday.

Can't resist getting one up ... Merry Christmas from the Sheraton Macau ... took the family to Taiwan for a week and the flight back went through here so why not? Wherever you are, enjoy with as much over indulgence as you can muster.

DH, Macau is perfect for my family for the Xmas/NY period because it is not far from Nanjing, if you search well early enough it can be really cheap for amazing quality accommodation (suggest Sheraton but Galaxy and Venetian are pretty amazing) and there is entertainment for all ages. Is it as good as they say? Well that depends on how well you handle a lot of Chinese in one place.

We book executive club rooms in the Sheraton through Agoda which gives you basically three meals a day including free grog from 5-7.30pm (if you feel like it) in their club lounge and you get those rooms at the same as standards if you are lucky.
