Zillman back on track from injury

iSelect Titans fullback William Zillman has taken the first steps on the road to recovery from a frustrating groin injury and has a fresh focus heading into season 2014.

Zillman’s 2013 campaign was severely hampered by a case of osteitis pubis but with the benefit of an eight-week break to rest the injury, the fullback has once again been able to stride out during pre-season time trials.

Zillman was enjoying a purple patch of form for the Titans before injury struck midway through last season.

He made a belated return for one match in Round 23 as the Titans tried to salvage their finals hopes against the Cowboys in Townsville but by then, the injury had taken its toll.

Mead did his knee in the kiwis game, he'll be in the rehab squad for a while.

Interesting to see others views on the ranking of club fullbacks and where Zillman fits into the list.
