Meet the new league of extraordinary gentlemen.

They've brought the thrill of rugby league to the Gold Coast with our very own team, the Titans, and now the team's managers are giving back to the community.

In its first official fundraiser on Saturday night, the team rolled out the red carpet for the Gold Coast Titans Charity Ball. More than 600 guests turned up to celebrate the Titans at the Jupiters Casino Pavilion Ballroom, and at almost $200 a pop, their tickets raised much needed money for a worthy cause.

"The funds raised tonight will be going to support the National Aboriginal Sports Corporation Australia," said Titans chairman Paul Broughton.

"We'll be planning three of these balls a year, with the next one going to a specific cause like buying defibrillators for ambulances.

"It's a fantastic cause and a fantastic turn-out."

CEO and founder of NASCA David Liddiard said the night was an 'awesome' gift from the Titans.

"The Titans have given us a great opportunity to support Aboriginal athletes," he said.

"We really do make a huge difference, and we have so many great sportsmen and women, like Preston Campbell, on board to work with youths in our catchment from the Gold Coast to northern NSW.

"The Titans have been wonderful, they haven't even kicked a ball yet and they've come to us to help. It's not tokenism, they're fair dinkum."
