Chopper Read Dead

Mark "Chopper'' Read has died at the age of 58, according to reports.

Chopper recently left hospital in Melbourne to be with friends and family.

He has been batting liver cancer for nearly two years.

Chopper said his illness started after contracting hepatitis C while in prison.

He was a self-confessed criminal who wrote books and was portrayed by Erica Bana in a movie, Chopper (which we reckon people around Australia are now probably reciting quotes from).

I thought of you straight away Ryan. You are obviously a big fan of Chopper. I think you are right and now he becomes a legend. I'm gonna watch the movie again. It's been many years since I've seen it.
