Well most of you know I am a thru and thru Blue but I am a little lost on what to do now.

My daughter who lives on the Gold Coast is pregnant and I almost had her convinced to head down south (maybe Murwillumbah or Lismore) so the baby would be born a Welshman. (I said almost)...well bloody hell she was 3 weeks early! Taken to Southport Hospital at 5am and baby born just before 7am. Now I have a bloody Qlder in the family...

I guess I will just have to live with it! :D

Congratulations Shamus! This is huge news.

You told us NSWer or QLDer, but boy or girl?

This will make a funny story for years to come.

My mum was from NSW and Im glad no deals were done or I'd be scarred.

Congratulations. I was a late starter in the marriage game. I want grand kids because we were only able to have one girl. But I might be 80 by the time it happens.

I think more than any thing the constant defeats of Qld at the hands of the Blues in the 70's made me fiercely parochial. Can't stand it when going to Gold Coast airport and have to briefly go into another country on the M1 before turning north again. But the number of good NSW players (like Preston Campbell), in the Titans is slowly convincing me they are not all bad, they are just people like me! ha ha!

All the good ones end up in QLD. They admit defeat.

No worries. Sell her on Gumtree and book your daughter into a hotel south of the Tweed for the last 2 months of her next pregnancy.

Congratulations, Shamus. :)

Now you'll get to witness the Unsurpassed Qualities of a Queenslander, while the little one will grow up. All the Best to Mum 'n Family.
