Following in the footsteps of the Wests Tigers. I thought maybe we could have a thread about what the ultimate Titans jersey and range of jerseys should include.

And even have some prototypes made for those that want to post pictures.

You get an image url from online by right clicking an image and selecting "copy image url" and then wrapping IMG tags around it.

Example:

This can be done even easier by selecting the "insert image" tab when you post, which looks like a little triangle with a yellow background at the top of the text box. You simply paste the image url into the box which pops up.

Upload to a basic location by using a website like http://postimage.org/

Then just follow the process above.

There is a way to upload directly from your hard drive, but it's more difficult

This is the version that I created with some certain elements in mind.
In my opinion I just loved the original Heritage Jersey...so there are elements of this hence the stripes but I tried to incorporate more the Titans Blue that we all love...whilst emphasising the Titans Yellow and silver through targeted striping.

Used a supplier website for the basic creation but added a few elements in Photoshop.

Possibly need to some clarification around naming the supplier details from the moderators but am happy to share.

A few elements are things that the basic design did not provide for me...so therefore using photoshop I added a few further design elements such as added lines etc.

Shut up and take my money! I love it! The one with the butcher strip. The idea of using SAND on a jersey intrigues me. Not sure if I want it for main. But away or alternate.

Hey Hammer, would love the Photoshop template to have a toy with. How would I go about getting it? The shading layer looks very classy.

Jerseys look great, keep at it mate. With feedback and us responding to it we could nail it down to some serious options.

Chevron for home and stripes for away would be great.

I'm kind of over Women In League jerseys. Too many clubs have gotten on the bandwagon now and it has lost its appeal to me. The Pink Panthers and Pink V for the Dragons were great. But I have to draw the line on the Cowboys and Broncos efforts.

I may have started the thread but wont be able to contribute properly to it for a couple more days. But Im really enjoying it.

no matter how good these are, it is unlikely that a fan one would get made no matter how good it is.

that said, i think if u have something like minimum 15 ppl, we could get a batch made as supporters jerseys for around half the price of an official one.

obviously it wouldnt have iselect or the nrl/titans logo, but damn it would be sexy. id pay alot to wear ur striped design hammer

I've always thought our original strip was the best. The indigenous one is good as well but neither of them are nearly as good as that one with the stripes. Awesome!!! Watching Albert Kelly play in the centres or Zillman throwing a forward pass would be almost bearable if we played in that strip!!

You've definitely have a knack for great ideas for some jersey designs, hammer. It's going to be hard to top your current efforts. :thumbsup:

One of the greatest marketable strengths we have as a club is the colours that were chosen to represent the Gold Coast. I couldn't count the number of times people have said to me since the inception of Titans what great colours we have...in particularly the light blue colour.
Historically though we have chosen jersey designs that shy aware from this colour (using darker blue colours) and I believe it is to our detriment. This year's jersey has the colour right in the top half but in my opinion a bad design deters people from purchasing this design on mass.
When I look at the supporter bay I see a sea of colour that quite frankly is not there on the Titans behalf apart from the flags in our Skilled Stadium...Legion aside!
Take the time next game to scan the crowd and see if you have a clear dominant colour coming through like the images above...I would suggest you won't see it!
The next jersey design needs to have the Titan blue colour as its dominant colour...as you can see from other supporters images above it is very striking in large group.

hammer you are absolutely right. Storm also have made purple their colour and look fantastic. We have the best or equal best identifiable colour in the league.

I also agree. But at the same time, I expect nothing to come of it..

Even if the club did nail it 'n get it right. It comes back to the old issue of not having the Merchandising Stock to supply the Fan Base. It's no secret supplying Merchandise can be expensive. But how are you meant get your 'colours' out there and seen, if you can't maintain the stock levels to feed your Fan Base. *shrugs*

The butchers stripe design is great, and put me down for 1.

In a lot of ways, NOT having any sponsor on the design means it is far more timeless. I wear my Jetstar jersey because it looks a hell of a lot better than this years jersey, and I won't waste my money buying this years jersey because I really dislike it.

I would wear the above design everywhere. It's like the original heritage design, which I still think is our best design EVER. :thumbsup:

But DH's psychedilic inspired design would probably run a close second with a bit more colour. I'm not into boring, Brad. :nope:
