Looks good!

So we have Manly and Panthers trotting around in commemorative jerseys in 2006.

Feb 08 - The jersey to commemorate Penrith's 40th season in the top competition went on sale tonight immediately after the annual fashion launch in Panthers EVAN Theatre.

An adult jersey costs $165 and a child's is $130.

They can be purchased only from the shop in the foyer at Panthers.

About 300 people were present in the EVAN for the fashion show, which featured a whole range of men's and women's off-field clothing, children's wear, training gear and the 2006 home and away jerseys.

Highlight of the show was the unveiling of the anniversary jersey, as worn by Joel Clinton.

Other Panthers who took part in the show included Luke Lewis, Luke Swain, Trent Waterhouse, Chris Newton, Bryan Norrie and Nick Youngquest.

A number of happy supporters headed for the shop immediately after the show to buy their jerseys, which had been kept off the racks until it was over.

We'll have more photographs tomorrow.

Er I dont really like it...

The white bit down the bottom looks a little out of place - bring back the chocolate soldiers.

Well if you remember the old Penrith Jerseys they were predominatly white with chocolate brown stripes... :D

As for this jersey, it ain't great but it ain't bad either. For those of you who can't see or whose screens don't show it.. the sleeves of that jersey are black with the aqua line... to represent the current look, whilst the top half of the front of the jersey is chocolate brown and the bottom is white.. to represent the past look.. :)

I reckon they should have gone though with white and chocolate brown striped V.. and black and blue striped sleeves.. :D :D

It does commemorate Penrith though.. :)
