Rumours of an 11 Doctor story!

I think they should break them into teams and then have a climax episode(s).

I wonder how they will do it, we already had the 5th meeting the 10th. And we still have Tom Baker, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann and the three modern Doctors.

Some recasting for the first three and some CGI here and there and this could be epic.

But please no ****ing River Song!

Yea Doctor Who used to scare me too! I think its one of the best shows. A regenerating principle character, companions and a tardis that can go to any time or place.

I really hope they dont screw up this 50th anniversary, the stage is set for an amazing celebration.

I'll probably be too scared to watch :( in fairness though the whole concept has given a lot of people a lot of enjoyment.

Still no solid news on this.

They are doing a telemovie about the story of Doctor Who the show. That sounds good an also may be a cover for a larger project.

If they screw this up... Ill never forgive them.

Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special Trailer To Be Released Soon

The trailer for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special starring Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt will be released very soon online, say the BBC.

The trailer was shown exclusively to the 8000 lucky San Diego Comic Con attendees who managed to pack into Hall H at the venue today for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary panel. The panel, compered by comedian, presenter and long time Doctor Who fan Craig Ferguson included Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman, Steven Moffat, Mark Gatiss and David Bradley, who stars as William Hartnell in the drama An Adventure In Space And Time. Reaction to the trailer was hugely enthusiastic, with screams drowning out the dialogue whenever David Tennant and Billie Piper appeared. However, Steven Moffat begged fans not to record footage or dialogue and post it to the internet.

The trailer contains plenty of clips of David Tennant. Huffington Post say in their live blog from the panel that: "Footage is shown from the upcoming "Doctor Who" special in which Smith and Tennant both play the Doctor. They have several funny moments in which they admire each other's glasses and generally goof on each other a bit. There are also glimpses of Rose Tyler and lots of explosions and running, of course."

The official BBC Doctor Who Twitter account, @bbcdoctorwho, added:
"The Doctors - Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt - will face the Daleks in the #DW50 special!" and advised fans to keep an eye on their website for more details.

The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special stars Matt Smith, David Tennant and John Hurt as three incarnations of the Doctor, with Jenna Coleman, Billie Piper, Joanna Page, Jemma Redgrave and Ingrid Oliver. Steven Moffat teased at the panel today that there may be other appearances. “Don't presume to know what's in the special,” he said, responding to a query about why Captain Jack was absent, adding that he's been "lying his ass off for months" about what or who is in it.

Fans will have to wait until the 23rd November when the special screen on BBC One and BBC America to find out.

Media outlets are reporting that 100 missing episodes of Doctor Who from the 1st and 2nd Doctor have been discovered in Africa!

I hope this is true, it always was very sad that they got wiped and always hoped they'd be found since I was a kid.

Whoever found them, deserves knighthoods.

Let's hope it's true.

It doesn't quite have the same ring to it though, "Dr.Who, I presume?" ... aaaah, the dark continent ... is it still politically correct to call it that or should it be the afro-continent?
