Titans contracted Kalani Patu was named in the 2023 Queensland U15 Maroon School Boys Rugby League side to contest the 2023 Australian U15 School Boys Championships.

Kalani Patu started at right second row in Match One against ACT School Boys with Kalani Patu running onto the ball two passes to the right of the play the ball from thirty six metres out with Kalani Patu only stopped when he was four metres out from the try line.

Kalani Patu then started from the bench in Match Two against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools and after coming onto the field to operate at right second row in the second half Kalani Patu made a good kick-off return in the 26th minute to carry the ball out to the twenty nine metre mark.

Titans contracted Viliami Fifita and Gazniah To'omaga with first half tries for Qld Maroon in their ASSRL U15 semi-final against Qld White to lead 16-6.

Fellow Titan Majah Peachey had a try disallowed.

Titans contracted Viliami Fifita was named in the 2023 Queensland U15 Maroon School Boys Rugby League side to contest the 2023 Australian U15 School Boys Championships.

Viliami Fifita started from the bench in Match One against ACT School Boys with Viliami Fifita coming onto the field in the 15th minute to play in the front row.

Viliami Fifita then moved into the starting side in the front row in Match Two against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools with Viliami Fifita heavily involved in Queensland’s last minute match winning try. In the final minute of the match with the scores locked up at 12 all Viliami Fifita ran onto the ball to the left of the dummy half and was able to crash and barge his way from thirteen metres out from the try line to around thirty centremetres out, with three defenders required to bring him down. Viliami Fifita then executed a lightening quick play the ball and with the NSW CIS defence still in disarray, the Queensland hooker was able to score out of dummy half to win the match.

In the 26th minute from the left of the play the ball Viliami Fifita was able to promote the ball from twenty five metres out from his own try line to the forty metre mark. Viliami Fifita then in the 27th minute from the right of the play the ball was able to get the ball to within seventeen metres of the try line after taking receipt of the ball thirty metres out. Then in the 47th minute from the left of the play the ball ran the ball from thirty three metres from the try line to seventeen metres out.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu started on the left wing in Match One against ACT School Boys with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu running to his right out of dummy half carrying the ball from six metres out from his own try line to seventeen metres out.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu continued on the left wing in Match Two against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu making the first of his two line breaks in the 6th minute when after he picked up a dropped NSW CIS ball ten metres out from his own try line Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu immediately stepped off his right foot to beat one defender and then charged down the left touchline with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu getting to within five metres of the halfway mark before being dragged to ground.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu recorded his second line break in the 36th minute when after receiving an off-load from his right from Majah Peachey ten metres out from his own try line, Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu was able to get on the outside of his opposing winger and charging down the left touchline to within five metres of the halfway mark.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu also made a good thirteen metre run down the left touchline in the 27th minute after receiving a cut-out pass from his inside on the halfway mark.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu made an important intervention in the match inside the opening two minutes when Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu took a bomb to his wing on the full in the in-goal area and after racing to the twenty metre mark to take the tap restart Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu was able to get the ball out to the thirty two metre mark.

Then in the 28th minute Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu came off his left wing to take a NSW CIS clearing kick on the full in the centre of the field eighteen metres out from his own try line and returned the ball out to the thirty two metre mark.

Titans contracted Majah Peachey continued at left second row for Queensland Maroon in Match Two of the ASSRL U15 Championships against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools with Majah Peachey scoring in the 14th minute when after receiving the ball two passes to the left of the dummy half, Majah Peachey engaged one defender and dragged him with him as Majah Peachey continued to run to his left and after shrugging the defender off Majah Peachey was able to dive over to score in the left corner.

Majah Peachey also made a line break in the 27th minute from an underneath route to the left of the play the ball with Majah Peachey taking possession of the ball ten metres inside his own territory and breaking five tackles as he crashed and barged his way to within thirty metres out of the try line.

Majah Peachey then recorded a line break assist in the 36th minute when from ten metres out from his own try line Majah Peachey was able to push away from one defender before getting an off-load away to his left to Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu who made a line break down the left touchline to within five metres from the halfway mark. Then from the play the ball Majah Peachey ran onto the ball to the right of the dummy half and carry the ball seven metres into NSW CIS territory.

In just the 2nd minute of the match and from the left of the play the ball Majah Peachey ran the ball from forty two metres from the try line to twenty nine metres out. Then in the 7th minute from a Queensland Maroon penalty restart Majah Peachey propelled the ball from twenty eight metres from the try line to within three metres with Majah Peachey breaking three tackled over the course of his twenty five metre run that concluded mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

Majah Peachey followed up with another strong run in the 10th minute down a short left blindside to carry the ball from his own fourteen metres mark to thirty two metres from his try line. Then in the 40th minute from a Queensland Maroon penalty restart Majah Peachey ran the ball from seven metres inside his own territory to ten metres inside NSW CIS territory.

All of Majah Peachey’s skills were no display including a great effort that contributed heavily to Queensland Maroon’s match winning try in the final minute. In the 48th minute with the scores locked up at 12 all, Majah Peachey took possession ten metres out and on the left side of the field and put in a short right foot grubber kick with the NSW CIS fullback forced to knock the ball over the dead ball line with Majah Peachey closing in to force a goal line drop-out with Queensland Maroon scoring the match winning try from the subsequent set of six tackles.

Titans contracted Amarni Wetini Ngaropo has had a horror run with injury but he is on the way back and has been selected in the Qld Maori Tana U18 side for the upcoming QPICC Carinival.

This young man can flat out play and is U18 eligible in 2024.

Scary to think what an outstanding five eight this young man will become.

Kedan Chan-Tung started at fullback for the Burleigh Bears in Round Fourteen of the GCRL First Grade competition against the Currumbin Eagles with Kedan Chan-Tung scoring in the 52nd minute when after receiving the ball two passes to the right of a Burleigh scrum win ten metres from the try line, Kedan Chan-Tung ran to his right and used a left arm fend to get on the outside of his opposing defender to score two metres in from the right corner post.

Kedan Chan-Tung recorded the first of his two try assists in the 7th minute with a good catch and pass to his right from twelve metres form his winger to score in the right corner.

Kedan Chan-Tung recorded his second try assist in the 33rd minute when after receiving a pass from his right forty four metres out, Kedan Chan-Tung burst down the left and when twenty metres out, Kedan Chan-Tung drew the fullback and passed to his left for his winger to score in the left corner.

Kedan Chan-Tung also made a 44th minute line break when after taking a Currumbin kick on the full eight metres out from his own try line and near the right touchline, Kedan Chan-Tung broke two tackles as he raced down the right touchline to carry the ball thirty metres downfield.

VJ Letalu continued on the left wing for Qld White in the ASSRL U15 Semi-final against Queensland Maroon with VJ Letalu scoring in just the 2nd minute of the match with a try five metres in from the left corner post after stepping inside his opposing winger ten metres out to score the first try of the match.

Jai Billish was named in the 2023 Queensland U15 Maroon School Boys Rugby League side to contest the 2023 Australian U15 School Boys Championships.

Jai Billish started from the bench in Match One against ACT School Boys with Jai Billish coming onto the field to operate in the dummy half role in the 17th minute.

Jai Billish made a good defensive effort in the 29th minute with a one on one tackle in space on a stepping ACT five eight just six metres from the try line.

Jai Billish then started at hooker in Match Two against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools.

Jai Billish then started from the bench in the Semi-final against Queensland White coming onto the field to operate in the dummy half role in the 23rd minute.

Jai Billish made his initial foray out of dummy half in the 25th minute when after running to his right Jai Billish was able to promote the ball from thirty one metres out from the try line to the halfway mark. Then in the 31st minute Jai Billish ran out of dummy ahlf to left and broke three tackles as Jai Billish was able to promote the ball from thirty metres from his own try line to within two metres of the halfway mark.

Jai Billish’s performance saw him named the Queensland Maroon Player of the Match.

Kalani Patu started at right second row for Qld Maroon in the ASSRL U15 Semi-final against Queensland White with Kalani Patu scoring in the 28th minute when after bursting onto the ball from twelve metres out and to the right of the play the ball, Kalani Patu forced his way past two would be defenders but was tripped up, Kalani Patu then bounced to his feet to slam the ball down in his right hand ten metres to the right of the goal posts.

In the 16th minute Kalani Patu made a good kick-off return to get the ball out to the twenty four metre mark. Kalani Patu also made a strong kick-off return in the 38th minute to carry the ball out to the twenty eight metre mark.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu started on the left wing for Qld Maroon in the U15 ASRL Semi-final against Queensland White with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu making a line break in the 33rd minute with a burst down the left touchline from ten metres from the halfway mark with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu executing a goose step but was brought down seventeen metres from the try line.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu ran out of dummy half to his right in the 22nd minute to carry the ball from his own thirty metre mark to forty two metres out, with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu then awarded a penalty for ruck interference. Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu also ran out of dummy half in the 28th minute when after running to his right, Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu ran the ball from twenty metres from the try line to eight metres out.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu also made a strong run in the 35th minute to promote the ball from nineteen metres from the try line to four metres out after running onto the ball to the left of the play the ball.

Gazniah To’omaga started from the bench for Qld Maroon in the ASSRL U15 Semi-final against Queensland White and after coming onto the field in the 16th minute to operate at lock Gaznaih To’omaga scored in the 23rd minute when after taking possession of the ball from the dummy half to his right, Gazniah To’omaga dummied to his left when ten metres out and simultaneously stepped off his left foot to wrong foot one defender and then Gazniah To’omaga burst between two defenders to get the ball down next to the right goal post.

In the 25th minute Gazniah To’omaga ran out of dummy half to his right and was able to run the ball from the halfway mark to thirty three metres out from the try line. Then in the 26th minute from the right of the play the ball Gazniah To’omaga carried the ball from nineteen metres out from his own try line to thirty two metres out.

In the 58th minute Gazniah To’omaga ran to his right out of dummy half from thirty eight metres out from the try line and beat two defenders to get the ball to within nine metres of the try line before being awarded a penalty foe being held down too long by the Qld White defenders.

Titans contracted Majah Peachey started at left second row for Qld Maroon in the ASSRL U15 Semi-final against Queensland White with Majah Peachey actually getting the ball over the try line in the 20th minute near the left upright but the referee ruled a double movement, it was close, very close.

Majah Peachey also made a line break in the 28th minute when after receiving the ball forty two metres from the try line, Majah Peachey pushed away from one defender and then ran to his left before charging down the left touchline to be tackled twenty metres from the try line.

Majah Peachey, in the 7th minute ran onto the ball to the left of the dummy half from six metres inside his own territory and after contacting the defensive line still inside his own territory, Majah Peachey was able to push forward until he had gotten the ball eleven metres inside Qld White territory.

In the 13th minute from a Queensland Marron penalty restart Majah Peachey charged onto the ball twenty five metres out and was able to crash and barge his way to within five metres of the try line near the left touchline and after Majah Peachey was awarded a penalty for being held now, Majah Peachey ran the ball from the restart to get the ball within three metres of the try line.

Then in the 23rd minute from the left of the play the ball Majah Peachey carried the ball from thirty seven metres from the try line to twenty two metres out with Majah Peachey then awarded a penalty for ruck interference. Also in the 26th minute from the left of the play the ball Majah Peachey was able to promote the ball from thirty metres out to forty three metres from his try line. Then in the 33rd minute from the right of the dummy half Majah Peachey charged at the try line from eighteen metres out and got within a metre of scoring.

Majah Peachey did very well in the 34th minute when after one of the Qld White replacement forwards took an intercept on the halfway mark with clear ground in front of him, Majah Peachey along with Christian Rivers ran him down to tackle him from behind and save what appeared to be a near certain try.

The Titans also were in for Reece Walsh when he could sign as a 15 year old but he chose the Bronco's. Now, the Titans are keeping more of the best of the GC/Northern Rivers boys with the JTS Program being implemented over the last three years or os.

EJ Finau started from the bench for the Burleigh Bears in Week One of the 2023 HDC Finals against the Tweed Heads Seagulls and after coming onto the field in the 27th minute EJ Finau made a strong kick-off return from the second half kick-off to carry the ball out to the thirty six metre mark.

Later in the same set of six tackles and also still in the 41st minute EJ Finau was able to carry the ball from twenty seven metres from the try line to within twelve metres after taking possession of the ball to the left of the dummy half. Then in the 44th minute from the left of the play the ball once again, EJ Finau got the ball from thirty four metres out from his own try line to three metres into Tweed Heads territory.

The 73rd minute saw EJ Finau execute a one on one steal of the ball on the first tackle just twenty metres out from his own try line.

Jayden Wright started in the front row for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Week One of the HDC Finals against the Burleigh Bears with Jayden Wright taking the initial hit-up of the match from the kick-off, with Jayden Wright then backing up to also take the fifty run of the math to get the ball within two metres of the halfway mark.

In the 11th minute from the left of the play the ball Jayden Wright charged onto the ball thirty five metres out and was able to get the ball twenty one metres away from the try line. Then in the 45th minute from the left of the play the ball Jayden Wright made sixteen metres after commencing his run forty metres out from the try line.

The 52nd minute then saw Jayden Wright, from the right of the dummy half get the ball to the thirty metre mark after commencing his run eighteen metres out. Then in the 54th minute from once again to the right of the play the ball Jayden Wright was able to carry the ball from his own thirty eight metre mark to the halfway mark.

Jayden Wright executed the tackle of the match in the 51st minute with a massive left shoulder hit on the Burleigh replacement front rower No. 17 forcing a knock on three metres from the try line and just to the left of the goal posts.

Joseph Shannon started from the bench for the Burleigh Bears in Week One of the 2023 HDC Finals against the Tweed Heads Seagulls and after an early Burleigh injury Joseph Shannon came onto the field in the front row in the 9th minute.

The 29th minute saw Joseph Shannon run onto the ball to the left of the dummy half from forty two metres from his own try line and after breaking four tackles and spinning clockwise whilst running at full pace, Joseph Shannon carried the ball fourteen metres inside Seagulls territory.

In the 41st minute from two passes to the right of the play the ball and forty three metres from the try line Joseph Shannon crashed and barged his way to twenty one metres from the try line with around 75% of Joseph Shannon’s metres being post contact.

In the 44th minute from the left of the play the ball Joseph Shannon ran the ball through the centre of the field to get to within seventeen metres from the try line after commencing his run twenty nine metres out. Then in the 51st minute after trapping a Tweed Heads goal line drop-out with his left foot, Joseph Shannon returned the ball from forty four metres out to twenty eight metres out.

A Burleigh penalty restart in the 53rd minute saw Joseph Shannon able to get the ball from forty metres to twenty three metres from the try lien through the centre of the field.

Titan Ryan Foran started at left second row for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Week One of the HDC Finals against the Burleigh Bears with Ryan Foran taking the second hit-up of the match from the left of the play the ball to get the ball out to the twenty two metre mark.

Ryan Foran came close to scoring in the 47th minute only to be held up over the try line eight metres in from the left corner post after a ten metre run to the left of the play the ball. Ryan Foran produced a smart piece of play in the 10th minute when after blocking a Burleigh attacking grubber kick Ryan Foran just wanted the ball more than his Burleigh opponents to dive on the ball to seal possession for Tweed Heads twenty metres out from his own try line.

In the 39th minute from a Tweed Heads penalty restart ran the ball from forty metres from the try lien to within eighteen metres with 70% of those metre post contact. Then in the 45th minute from ten metres inside his own territory Ryan Foran was able to get eleven metres inside Burleigh territory after running onto the ball to the left of the dummy half.

Jeremaiah Temapo started on the left wing for the Burleigh Bears in Week One of the 2023 HDC Finals against the Tweed Heads Seagulls and in the 9th minute from the left of a Burleigh scrum win Jeremaiah Temapo carried the ball from forty two metres out from the try line to twenty seven metres out.

The 13th minute then saw Jeremaiah Temapo take a run to the left of the play the ball from just four metres out from his own try line and get the ball to eighteen metres out with at least 60% of the metres that Jeremaiah Temapo made being post contact. Also in the 28th minute from the left of the play the ball once again, Jeremaiah Temapo carried the ball from seventeen metres from his own try line to thirty two metre away.

Then in the 77th minute from the left of the play the ball and twenty eight metres from his own try line Jeremaiah Temapo was able to promote the ball to within four metres of the halfway mark.

Max Liles continued at five eight for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Week One of the 2023 HDC Finals against the Burleigh Bears with Max Liles recording a try assist in the 40th minute when after taking possession of the ball from the dummy half to the left of the play the ball twelve metres out, Max Liles continued to run to his left before passing the ball inside to his right to Parker Bryant who crashed over to score ten metres to the right of the goal posts.

Max Liles recorded a second try assist in the 55th minute with a left foot grubber kick into the in-goal from the left of the play the ball and twelve metres out with his left centre winning the race to the ball to score ten metres in from the left corner post.

Titans contracted Tanu Nona started from the bench for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Week One of the 2023 HDC Finals against the Burleigh Bears with Tanu Nona scoring the first of his two tries in the 70th minute when with the play the ball a metre from the try line and six metres to the left of the goal posts, Tanu Nona ran out of dummy half to his right looking to throw a short ball in the same direction, but after being hit by a Burleigh defender Tanu Nona found himself with his back to the try line with Tanu Nona then backing his way over the try line and spinning to his right to get the ball down three metres to the left of the goal posts.

Tanu Nona completed his double in the 78th minute when from twenty two metres out from the try line, Tanu Nona ran to his left of the dummy half, and after hesitating for just a fraction, Tanu Nona raced straight through the centre of the Burleigh defensive line to score mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the right side of the field.

Titans contracted Jaylan De Groot continued at right centre for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Week One of the 2023 HDC Finals against the Burleigh Bears with Jaylan De Groot scoring in the 47th minute with an eight metre run that saw Jaylan De Groot break two tackles after picking up a Seagulls pass on the bounce to score ten metres in from the right corner post.

Earlier in the 45th minute after running to his left out of dummy half Jaylan De Groot was able to get the ball to near the halfway mark before throwing a long cut-out pass to his left to put the Seagulls left sided attack into space.

Jaylen De Groot made a good try saving tackle in the 10th minute on the Burleigh left second rower Adam Christenson to bring him down very close to the try line and six metres in from the left touchline.

Oskar Bryant continued at hooker for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Week One of the 2023 HDC Finals against the Burleigh Bears with Oskar Bryant easily the best player on the field in Tweed Heads impressive 46 – 10 victory over their local rivals.

Oskar Bryant scored the opening try of the match in the 14th minute when after scooping up the ball in his left hand from dummy half, Oskar Bryant ran to his right from four metres out and after steeping off his right foot just after clearing the ruck Oskar Bryant got to the try line before spinning clockwise to gain separation and get the ball down a metre to the right of the goal posts with two defenders trying in vain to prevent him from scoring.

Oskar Bryant then ran out of dummy half to his right in the 38th minute from twenty eight metres out from his own try line and after getting to within five metres of the halfway mark, Oskar Bryant was hit in a high tackle which saw the Burleigh culprit penalised and sent to the sin bin for ten minutes.

Oskar Bryant finished his exceptional match with a try, two try assists, two line break assists and three tackle breaks.

Week Two of the 2023 Hastings Deering’s Colts Final saw Seth Nikotemo start at right second row for the Burleigh Bears against the Redcliffe Dolphins with Seth Nikotemo, in the 6th minute running onto the ball from a Burleigh penalty restart to propel the ball from twenty eight metres from his own try line to within ten metres of the halfway mark.

The 20th minute saw Seth Nikotemo take possession two passes to the right of the play the ball from thirteen metres out from his own try line and get the ball out to the twenty nine metre mark with at least 60% of Seth Nikotemo’s being post contact with the Dolphins defensive line.

Then in the 42nd minute from the left of a Burleigh scrum win eight metres out from his own try line Seth Nikotemo was able to get the ball out to the twenty two metre mark. Seth Nikotemo followed up with a 47th minute effort that saw him run the ball down the right channel from inside his own territory to within thirty eight metres of the try line.

Seth Nikotemo, in the 57th minute was involved in holding up the Redcliffe left second rower No .12 over the try line to prevent him from scoring seven metres in from the Bears right corner post.

Then in the 38th minute from the left of the play the ball Kedan Chan-Tung ran the ball through the centre of the field from forty metres out to within twenty seven metres of the try line.

Round Fifteen of the NRRRL Reserve Grade competition saw Lachlan Offley start from the bench for the Ballina Seagulls against the Evans Head Bombers and after coming onto the field to play at fullback mid-way through the first half Lachlan Offley scored in the 57th minute when after receiving the ball to the left of the dummy half twelve metres out, Lachlan Offley straightened up his run by stepping off his left foot and after beating the opposing defender Lachlan Offley was able to get the ball over the try line twelve metres to the left of the goal posts.

The match also saw Lachlan Offley kick two conversions, with the first and best of the two coming in the 32nd minute from three metres in from the right touchline. Lachlan Offley’s second conversion was a lot easier as it was directly in front in the 51st minute.

The 26th minute saw Lachlan Offley make a good kick return from twenty metres out from his own try line in the centre of the field with Lachlan Offley able to return the kick to within seven metres of the halfway mark. Then in the 49th minute after taking another Bombers kick on the full in the centre of the field twenty metres out from his own try line. Lachlan Offley broke two tackles as he returned the ball three metres over the forty metre mark.

Then in the 20th minute Jeremaiah Temapo chased through a short Burleigh goal line drop-out to the left to knock the ball back with his left hand after the ball had broken the ten metre plane on the bounce for Burleigh to take possession.

Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition for the Lower Clarence Magpies against the Kyogle Turkeys saw Reece Warburton start at halfback with Reece Warburton recording a try assist in the 31st minute when after receiving the ball fourteen metres out and to the right of the play the ball Reece Warburton continued to run to his right and when he had gotten to within six metres of the try line, Reece Warburton was able to draw in one defender and get a short ball away to his right to put his right centre over to score ten metres in from the right corner post.

Alex Leapai came back into the Souths Logan Magpies HDC side for Week One of the 2023 HDC Finals against the Redcliffe Dolphins with Alex Leapai coming off the bench to operate in the front row in the 22nd minute with Alex Leapai making his initial run in the 25th minute from the left of the play the ball to get the ball thirty five metres away from his own try line.

The 29th minute then saw Alex Leapai, from the left of the play the dummy half carry the ball from his own forty metre mark to nine metres into Redcliffe territory. Alex Leapai followed up with a run to the left of a Magpies scrum win in the 35th minute from forty five metres from the try line with Alex Leapai able to get the ball fifteen metres downfield from an underneath route and Alex Leapai was then after a penalty for ruck interference.

Alex Leapai also did well in the 66th minute to get within a metres of the try line after running an underneath route to the right of the dummy half from twelve metres out with a testament to Alex Leapai’s effort was that it took four Blackhawks defenders to stop his forward momentum.

The match also saw Alex Leapai showcase his kicking skills when in the 30th minute after a Magpies kick that was not played at by Townsville on the final tackle rebounded back to Alex Leapai thirty metres out from try line Alex Leapai picked up the ball on the final tackle ten metres in from the left touchline with Alex Leapai then putting in a left foot kick towards the right corner.

Bo Peisley started at halfback for the Murwillumbah Mustangs in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Tweed Coast Raiders with Bo Peisley kicking three conversions in a Mustangs 30 – 0 victory. Bo Peisley kicked his first conversion in the 4th minute from ten metres to the left of the goal posts. Bo Peisley kicked his second conversion from twelve metres in from the left touchline in the 15th minute before convert Ayden Byrnes’s 25th minute try from directly in front of the goal posts.

Bo Peisley also recorded a try assist in the 4th minute with a right foot grubber into the in-goal for his five eight to score with Bo Peisley putting in the kick from twelve metres out and to the right of the goal posts with the five eight scoring on the opposite side of the uprights.

Micah Leaupepe Perkins started at left centre for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Ballina Seagulls with Micah Leaupepe Perkins scoring in the 10th minute with a ten metre run three passes to the left of the play the ball with Micah Leaupepe Perkins easily beating his opposing centre with a right arm fend to score in the left corner.

Micah Leaupepe Perkins was in fact the reason that Tweed Heads were in an attacking position when in the 9th minute from nine metres out from his own try line and ten metres in from the left touchline, Micah Leaupepe Perkins picked the ball up from dummy and ran to his left to make a line break down the left touchline, getting to within twenty metres of the try line before the Ballina fullback threatened to tackle him into touch but Micah Leaupepe Perkins was able to flick the ball back inside for Tweed Heads to retain possession.

Micah Leaupepe Perkins also recorded a line break in the 22nd minute when whilst operating at fullback Micah Leaupepe Perkins took a Ballina kick on the full twenty two metres out from his own try line near the centre of the field, Micah Leaupepe Perkins ran to his right and after breaking a staggering seven tackles through speed, strength and power Micah Leaupepe Perkins carried the ball all the way down to within thirty three metres of the try line.

Then in the 44th minute from the left of the play the ball Tyrelle Waters carried the ball from twenty three metres out from his own try line to thirty eight metres out.

Tyrelle Waters also pulled off an impressive try saving tackle in the 27th minute on the last tackle in the Kyogle right second rower (No. 11) in front of the posts and just two metres out from the try line.

In 2023 Elliott Farrell played for the Byron Bay Devils in the NRRRL competition at right centre and also played for Byron Bay Lennox Head in the Group 18 U16 competition including starting in the centres in their Grand Final victory.

Toby Britton started all bar one of the Souths Magpies BJRL U14 Division One matches at hooker (missing Round One) including the Grand Final against Logan Brothers and whilst Toby Britton only scored the one try which came in Round 14 against Waterford Toby Britton was a key reason for the Magpies success of the 2023 season.

Aaron Singh-Goesel started at left second row for the Murwillumbah Mustangs in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Tweed Coast Raiders with Aaron Singh-Goesel recording a try assist in the 52nd minute when from the left of a Mustangs scrum win, Aaron Singh-Goesel ran the ball to within ten metres of the halfway mark before drawing the Tweed Coast right centre and passing to his left to put his left centre into a gap and away downfield to score.

Aaron Singh-Goesel also recorded a line break assist in the 21st minute when after receiving the ball two passes to the left of the play the ball Aaron Singh-Goesel ran the ball from eighteen metres out from his own try line to twenty six metres out before off-loading to his left to put his centre on a long run down the left touchline.

In the 25th minute Aaron Singh-Goesel ran an underneath route to the left of the play the ball to run the ball through the centre of the field from thirty three metres from the try line to with sixteen metres. Seth Nikotemo continued at right second row for Burleigh in Round Fifteen of the GCRL First Grade competition against the Tugun Seahawks with Seth Nikotemo coming close to scoring in the 5th minute from a Burleigh penalty restart with Seth Nikotemo able to get within a metre of the try line twelve metres in from the right touchline after starting his run from twelve metres out.

Seth Nikotemo also came close to scoring in the 68th minute when after picking up a ball lost backwards by Burleigh fourteen metres out and near the right touchline, Seth Nikotemo ran the ball infield and after breaking two tackles Seth Nikotemo was able to get the ball to within a try line mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the right side of the field.

The 12th minute then saw Seth Nikotemo run onto the ball from two passes to the right of a Bears penalty restart to get the ball from twenty one metres from the try line to within ten metres. Then in the 20th minute from two passes to the right of the play the ball Seth Nikotemo was able to progress the ball from forty one metres from the try lien to twenty nine metres out.

Then in the 60th minute from two passes to the right of a Burleigh penalty restart on the halfway mark Seth Nikotemo was able to promote the ball sixteen metres into Tugun territory.

Ricco Waitititi started at right centre for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Ballina Seagulls with Ricco Waitititi scoring in the 5th minute when after receiving the ball ten metres out from the right of a Tweed Heads scrum win Ricco Waitititi ran the required distance to score in the right corner untouched.

Ricco Waititi also came close to scoring in the 27th minute when after receiving a pass that was just behind him twenty metres out, Ricco Waitititi charged to within two metres of the try line with part of Ricco Waitititi’s run being with Ricco Waitititi pinning the ball to his back before regaining full control, ten metres to the right of the goal posts.

Ayden Byrnes started at hooker for the Murwillumbah Mustangs in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Tweed Coast Raiders with Ayden Byrnes scoring in the 25th minute when from dummy half thirteen metres out, Ayden Byrnes initially ran to his left looking to pass the ball in the same direction, however when no one was available Ayden Byrnes cut back to his right before stepping off his left foot to beat one defender. Ayden Byrnes then when five metres from the try line dummied to his right and simultaneously stepped off his right foot and was able to dive between two Tweed Coast defenders to score under the posts.

Ayden Byrnes also made a good defensive hit in the 46th minute when he drove his right shoulder into the Raiders lock and drove him backwards forty metres from the try line.

Earlier in the 2nd minute from thirty two metres out and down a short left blindside Kennyon Elasia-Thomas put in a right foot chip kick towards the left corner with Kennyon Elasia-Thomas chasing his own kick to be involved in grabbing the Kyogle fullback in the field of play and forcing him back into the in-goal area to force a Turkeys goal line drop-out.

Last week Titans contracted Javon Andrews represented the Queensland Secondary School's Boys U18 side at the National Schools Touch Championships with Queensland winning the National Final 7-6 against NSW CCC.

Earlier this season Javon Andrews represented Australia in the U18 Mixed Touch side in a match against a New Zealand side.

Stevie O’Connor started at fullback for the Tweed Coast Raiders in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Murwillumbah Mustangs with Stevie O’Connor making a line break in the 10th minute from the right of a Raiders scrum win in the centre of the field Stevie O’Connor threw an exaggerated dummy to his right before bursting through a gap with Stevie O’Connor getting to within a metre of the try line next to the right goal post.

Stevie O’Connor also kicked a 40/20 in the 31st minute with Stevie O’Connor putting in a driving right foot kick from the right of the play the ball from thirty seven metres out from his own try line over the left touchline just twelve metres out from the Murwillumbah try line.

In the 8th minute from the left of a Tweed Coast scrum win Stevie O’Connor ran the ball from eight metres out from his own try line out to the twenty seven metre mark. Then once again from the left of a Raiders scrum win in the 18th minute Stevie O’Connor was able to carry the ball from twenty eight metres from his own try line out to the forty metre mark.

Also from the left of a Tweed Coast scrum win in the 43rd minute Stevie O’Connor was able to carry the ball from eight metres out from his own try line to twenty one metres out, then a tackle later Stevie O’Connor made a further twelve metres to get the ball out to the forty metre mark.

Then in the 49th minute to the right of a Tweed Coast scrum win, Stevie O’Connor took possession of the ball seven metres inside his own territory and after dummying to his right Stevie O’Connor was able to promote the ball ten metres inside Murwillumbah territory before getting a right arm off-load away to his right with his back towards the try line.

Stevie O’Connor then made a good kick return in the 51st minute getting the ball to within eight metres of the halfway mark in the centre of the field after retrieving the ball twenty metres from his own try line.

Majah Peachey started at left second row for Queensland Maroon in the Final of the 2023 U15 ASSRL School Boy Rugby League Championships against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools with Majah Peachey held up over the try line in the 6th minute after running out of dummy half to his left to be held up six metres to the left of the goal posts.

Majah Peachey also recorded a line break assist in the 46th minute when from the halfway mark and to the left of the play the ball Majah Peachey ran the ball eight metres downfield before off-loading to the left to his centre who raced down the left touchline.

After making the opening hit-up of the match from the kick-off Majah Peachey ran onto the ball to the right of the dummy half to get the ball from forty metres out from the try line to thirty metres out.

Kalani Patu started at right second row for Queensland Maroon in the Final of the 2023 U15 ASSRL School Boy Rugby League Championships against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools with Kalani Patu’s best run of the match coming in the 45th minute with a charge to the left of the play the ball to break a tackle to get the ball from fifteen metres out from his own try line to thirty metres out.

Defensively in the 7th minute Kalani Patu made a crunching tackle over the top on the NSW CIS No. 17 twenty metres out from the try line, then in the 35th minute Kalani Patu made a great one on one tackle on a stepping NSW CIS fullback in space ten metres out from the try line.

In the 36th minute from a Queensland Maroon penalty restart Kalani Patu carried the ball from five metres inside his own territory to ten metres into NSW CIS territory.

Viliami Fifita started from the bench for Queensland Maroon in the Final of the 2023 U15 ASSRL School Boy Rugby League Championships against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools with Viliami Fifita coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 11th minute and i the 13th minute after running onto the ball to the left of the dummy half in the 13th minute Viliami Fifita was able to carry the ball from twenty nine metres out from his own try line to within six metres of the halfway mark with breaking two tackles and with 70% of his metres post contact.

In the 22nd minute from the right of the play the ball Viliami Fifita promoted the ball from twenty eight metres out to within three metres of the try line, breaking four tackles along the way. Then in the 24th minute after running onto the ball from seventeen metres out from the try line to the right of the play the ball Viliami Fifita was able to get the ball out to the thirty metre mark.

Viliami Fifita ran onto the ball later in the same set of six tackles to the right of the dummy half, stepping off his right foot on two occasions to get the ball from five metres inside his own territory to within thirty one metres of the try line. Also in the 31st minute from the right of the play the ball and six metres inside his own territory Viliami Fifita carried the ball eight metres inside NSW CIS territory then a tackle later Viliami Fifita made an additional eight metres from a run to the right of the dummy half.

Defensively in the 15th minute Viliami Fifita made a big front on hit on one of his opposing front rowers dropping him to ground immediately twenty metres out from the try line. Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu made his second line break in the 41st minute when Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu burst down the left touchline from thirty five metres out from his own try line to carry the ball to within twenty metres of the try line at the opposite end of the field.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu made a strong kick return in the 19th minute when after taking the kick on the full ten metres out from his own try line near the left touchline, Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu was able to run the ball back to the thirty one metre mark. Then in the 31st minute after taking another kick on the full nineteen metres out from his try line Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu returned the ball to thirty two metres out.

The Palmerston North student and representative level basketballer signed with the Titans mid-way through the 2023 season.

In early 2023 Santino Pekepo-Tavaga lined-up in the centres for the Manawatu U16 Rugby League Representative side.

In 2023 Hunter Brown played for the Souths Magpies in the 2023 GBJRL U14 Division One competition starting all of the Magpies matches at lock including the Grand Final against Logan Brothers.

Over the course of the 2023 GBRJL U14 Division One season Hunter Brown scored three tries with Hunter Brown scoring his first try in Round Two against Aspley, Hunter Brown also scored in Rounds Seven and Fourteen against the Waterford Demons.

Hunter Brown also played for the Magpies in 2022 GBJRL U13 Division One competition playing primarily in the second row.

Harrison McDowell scored an impressive four tries in Round Nine against Redback Blue and scored doubles in Round Two against Norths Tigers Gold, Round Four against the Springfield Panthers and Round Five against Redback Red. Harrison McDowell also scored in Round One against Brothers White, Round Seven against Norths Tigers Blue and Round Thirteen against the Springfield Panthers.

The Faith Lutheran College student started Round One at lock against Brothers White and Round Two from the bench against Norths Tigers Gold before starting the remainder of his matches for Laidley at fullback.

In 2023 Darnel Stagg played for the Souths Magpies in the 2023 GBJRL U14 Division One competition with Darnell Stagg finishing the season as the competition’s leading points scorer with 138 points from eight tries and fifty three goals from just twelve matches to average 11.5 points per match.

Starting all of his matches for the Magpies at halfback, including the Grand Final against Logan Brothers Darnel Stagg scored doubles against the Waterford Demons in Rounds Seven and Fourteen and also scored in Round Four against Tigers, Round Twelve against Norths and against Logan Brothers in Round Six and the Grand Final.

Darnel Stagg had some huge matches with the boot including kicking twelve from thirteen conversions in Round One against Carina. Darnel Stagg also kicked ten conversions in Round Fourteen against Waterford, eight conversions in Round Two against Aspley and five conversions in Round Four against Easts.

On an individual level Darnel Stagg scored twenty eight points in Round Fourteen against Waterford from two tries and ten conversions and twenty four points in Round One against Carina from twelve conversions.

In 2022 Darnel Stagg played for Innisfail in the Far North Queensland U13 Nate Myles Cup competition with Darnel Stagg splitting time between five eight and fullback with Darnel Stagg finishing the season as the competition’s leading points scorer with 162 points from seventeen tries and forty seven conversions.

Darnel Stagg scored four tries in Round Ten against Redlynch and hat tricks in Round Six against Ivanhoe and Round Seven against Mareeba. Darnel Stagg also scored doubles in Round Five against the Tully Tigers and Round Thirteen against Redlynch.

From a goal kicking perspective Darnel Stagg kicked eight conversions in Round Six against Ivanhoe, six conversions in Round Seven against Mareeba and five conversions in Round Ten against Redlynch.

On an individual level Darnel Stagg scored twenty eight points from three tries and eight conversions in Round Six Ivanhoe, twenty six points from four tries and five conversions in Round Ten against Redlynch and Twenty four points from three tries and six conversions in Round Seven against Mareeba.

Lachlan Offley started at fullback for the Ballina Seagulls in Round Fifteen of the U18 NRRRL competition against the Tweed Heads Seagulls with Lachlan Offley scoring in the 15th minute when after moving into dummy half with the play the ball six metres out, Lachlan Offley ran to his right stepping off his right foot with Lachlan Offley then beating two defenders as he targeted the area behind the play the ball to get the ball over the try line mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the right side of the field.

In just the 3rd minute of the match Lachlan Offley ran the ball from the left of the play the ball from his own twenty metre mark out to the thirty three metre mark. Then in the 14th minute from the right of play the ball Lachlan Offley ran the ball from four metres inside his own territory and after getting nine metres into Tweed Heads territory, Lachlan Offley, when being held by the leg passed the ball to his left to keep the movement progressing.

The 31st minute then saw Lachlan Offley run onto the ball to the right of the dummy half and get the ball from eighteen metres out from his own try line to thirty two metres out. Then in the 36th minute from the right of a Ballina scrum in the centre of the field Lachlan Offley ran the ball from seven metres from his own try line to twenty three metres out and then on the fifth tackle in the same set of six Lachlan Offley ran onto the ball to the left of the dummy half from twelve metres from the try line to within a metre before four defenders finally stooped his forward progress midway between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

Lachlan Offley also did well in the 55th minute to tap back a short Ballina kick-off to their left for Ballina to take possession. Two tackles later Lachlan Offley carried the ball twelve metres to thirty six metres from the try line and then a tackle later was brought to ground in front of the goal posts less than a metre from the try line after running onto the ball fourteen metres out.

Lachlan Offley also made a try saving tackle in the 9th minute on the Tweed Heads left centre who had line break down the Ballina right touchline with Lachlan Offley coming across in cover defence to bring him down twenty metres from the try line.

Lachlan Offley made another try saving tackle in the 35th minute when after Tweed Heads had made a long line break the Tweed Heads five eight received the ball around three metres from the try line and directly in front of the posts but immediately Lachlan Offley smashed him from behind and forced a knock-on to prevent Tweed Heads from scoring.

Lachlan Offley did well in the 48th minute to trap a Tweed Heads attacking grubber kick just in the in-goal and then Lachlan Offley did even better to get the ball back into the field of play.

Riley Buchanan started in the front row for the for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL U18 Round Fifteen local derby against the Cudgen Hornets with Riley Buchanan making a great return from the opening kick-off of the match to get the ball out to the thirty three metre mark. Riley Buchanan then made another strong kick-off return in the 10th minute to bring the ball out to the twenty two metre mark.

Riley Buchanan then made a strong Hornets goal line drop-out return to take the ball forty three metres out to get the ball back to the twenty metre mark in the centre of the field. Riley Buchanan then followed up with another good kick-off return in the 26th minute to get the ball to the twenty metre mark in the centre of the field.

Round Fifteen of the NRRRL U18 competition for the Lower Clarence Magpies against the Kyogle Turkeys saw AJ Hickling start at left centre and score in the 20th minute through a strong run from ten metres out to score in the left corner after the Magpies had spun the ball from a scrum win on the opposite side of the field.

AJ Hickling also recorded a line break to almost score in the 18th minute from twenty seven metres out and to the left of the dummy half with AJ Hickling breaking three tackles, including one as a result of a counter clockwise spin with AJ Hickling initially getting over the try line three metres in from the left corner post only to be forced back into the field of play by four Kyogle defenders.

Earlier in the 10th minute from a Lower Clarence penalty restart AJ Hickling was able to carry the ball from eight metres inside his own territory to nine metres into Turkeys territory. Then in the 34th minute from the right of the dummy half AJ Hickling got the ball to within twenty metre of the try line after commencing his run thirty seven metres out.

Tyrese Bowman moved back to fullback for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL U18 Round Fifteen local derby against the Cudgen Hornets with Tyrese Bowman involved in an old fashioned mouse trap play in the 39th minute and after picking up the ball at dummy half, Tyrese Bowman made ten metres to get the ball over the thirty metre mark.

Tyrese Bowman also made a good one on one fullback’s tackle in open space in the 16th minute on the Cudgen halfback who had made a long line break through the centre of the field only to be tackled by Tyrese Bowman thirty five metres from the try line.

Creedence Donovan moved to five eight for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL U18 Round Fifteen local derby against the Cudgen Hornets with Creedence Donovan making a line beak in the 36th minute when after taking possession of the ball forty metres from his own try line and to the left of the play the ball, Creedence Donovan ran at the defensive lien and after dummying to his left, Creedence Donovan sliced between two defenders and after shrugging away from a cover defender Creedence Donovan stepped off his right foot to beat the Cudgen fullback. Creedence Donovan was grabbed from behind around fifteen metres out but kept pushing and shoving to get the ball within a metre of the try line and six metres in from the left touchline.

Creedence Donovan also recorded a line break assist in the 8th minute when from the left of the play the ball Creedence Donovan double pumped a short ball to his left to put his left centre into a yawning gap with the centre beating the fullback to score on the opposite side of the goal posts.

Inside the opening minute of the match Creedence Donovan ran the ball down a short left blindside from twelve metres inside his own territory and Creedence Donovan was able to promote the ball to two metres into Cudgen territory.

In 2022 Leo Briggs played for Brothers in the Ipswich Rugby League U13 competition starting all of his matches at lock including Brothers Grand Final victory.

Rowan Mansfield started on the right wing for the Ballina Seagulls in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition against the Evans Head Bombers with Rowan Mansfield making a line break and recording a try assist in the 75th minute when after receiving the ball from his inside thirty metres out from his own try line Rowan Mansfield burst away down the right touchline and after Rowan Mansfield was ankle tapped still thirty metres out, Rowan Mansfield was able to get back to his feet and when eighteen metres from the try line Rowan Mansfield was able to get an off-load away from his inside to his right centre who was able to score wide out on the right.

In the 9th minute to return a kick-off that Rowan Mansfield had taken on the full and Rowan Mansfield was able to return the kick-off out to the thirty metre mark.

In late September 2023 Rueben Taramarki was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup squad.

In 2023 Rueben Taramaki played for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL competition including starting in the second row in the NRRRL U18 Grand Final victory against the Murwillumbah Mustangs.

Rueben Taramaki scored on eleven occasions over the course of the 2023 NRRRL U18 season.

Round Fifteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition against the Ballina Seagulls saw Micah Leaupepe Perkins move to right centre for the Evans Head Bombers with Micah Leaupepe Perkins scoring in the 15th minute when after receiving a cut-out pass from his inside Micah Leaupepe Perkins raced ten metres down the right touchline to put the ball down one handed (left) in the corner.

In the 47th minute Micah Leaupepe Perkins was able to return a Ballina kick from his own ten metre mark out to the twenty seven metre mark. Then in the 61st minute from the left of the play the ball Micah Leaupepe Perkins was able to carry the ball from thirty one metres out from his own try line out to the halfway mark.

Matthew Bollard started at right centre for the Murwillumbah Mustangs in Round Fifteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition against the Tweed Coast Raiders with Matthew Bollard scoring the first of his two tries in the 6th minute when after Matthew Bollard backed up a Mustangs line break down the right touchline, Matthew Bollard received an inside pass and ran thirty metres to put the ball down under the posts untouched.

Matthew Bollard completed his double in the 14th minute from two passes to the right of a Murwillumbah scrum win and after receiving the ball thirty metres from his own try line, Matthew Bollard beat his opposing centre on the outside before stepping off his right foot to beat the Tweed Coast left winger on the inside with Matthew Bollard then running seventy metres down the right touchline to put the ball down six metres in from the right corner post.

Grange Womal is a Brothers Mackay halfback prospect who signed with the Titans midway through the 2023 Mackay Junior Rugby League U15 season.
Grange Womal captained the Mackay Brothers side from the halfback position to an unbeaten season including starting the Grand Final against the Moranbah Miners and Major Semi-final against Sarina at halfback.
Grange Womal, over the course of the 2023 season scoring sixty four points from six tries and twenty conversions. Grange Womal scored doubles in Round Three against Sarina and Round Twelve against the Brahmans.
From a goal kicking perspective Grange Womal kicked six conversions in Round Twelve against the Brahmans in a match that saw Grange Womal finish with an individual points tally of twenty points and five conversions in Round Fourteen against Magpies,. Grange Womal also kicked three conversions in Round Six against Norths and Round Seven against Wests.
At the Mackay Brothers 2023 Awards Presentation Grange Womal was named the 2023 Mackay Brothers player with the most potential.
In 2022 Grange Womal played for Toowoomba Brothers Blue in the Mackay U14 competition, finishing the season with forty points from three tries and fourteen conversions, with the most conversions that Grange Womal kicked in a single match being four, which occurred on four separate occasions.
Grange Womal scored in Rounds Four, Ten and Twelve against Wests, Brothers White and Wanderers respectively.

Tashahn Cora then was named on the bench for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against Northern United with Tashahn Cora coming onto the field to operate at halfback mid-way through the first half and in the 30th minute from the right of a Seagulls scrum win in the centre of the field twenty three metres out from the try line, Tahshan Cora stepped off his right foot and surge to within a metres of the try line and three metres to the left of the goal posts.

Then in the 58th minute when whilst running the ball to the right of the play the ball Tashahn Cora dummied to an inside runner and then when Tashahn Cora when ten metres inside his own territory put in a left foot chip kick for yourself regathering the ball ten metres inside Northern United territory before being brought to ground thirty six metres out and in the centre of the field.

Jakequan Roberts-Walsh made an additional solid kick return in the 15th minute when after tracking back to take a Tweed Heads kick ten metres out from his try line and after Jakequan Roberts-Walsh danced in the centre of the field, Jakequan Roberts-Walsh ran to his left and after getting on the outside of the Seagulls defensive line, Jakequan Roberts-Walsh put in a right foot grubber kick thirty metres out from the try line but the kick was blocked by a Seagulls defender.

Ayden Byrnes continued at hooker for the Murwillumbah Mustangs in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Bilambil Jets with Ayden Byrnes running out of dummy half to his left from twenty five metres out from his own try line in the 9th minute with the speed of Ayden Byrnes run out of dummy half catching the Bilambil defensive line off-side.

Then in the 15th minute after running out of dummy half to his right before cutting back to his left Ayden Byrnes got the ball from thirty eight metres out from his own try line to the halfway mark. Ayden Byrnes also ran out of dummy half to his left in the 36th minute to run the ball from thirty eight metres out to within six metres of the try line before off-loading to his left to Bo Peisley.

Ayden Byrnes also ran out of dummy half in the 50th minute when after running to his left Ayden Byrnes was able to carry the ball from thirty metres out from his own try line to within four metres of the halfway mark with Ayden Byrnes executing a quick play the ball to keep Murwillumbah on the front foot.

Ayden Byrnes made a good tackle in the 8th minute with a big front on hit on the Bilambil left second rower No. 11 to dump him onto his back to the right of the goal posts and seven metres from the try line to take all of the momentum out of the Jets attack. Ayden Byrnes made another good front-on tackle in the 24th minute in the Murwillumbah front rower No. 8 twenty two metres out from the Bilambil try line.

In late September 2023 Vivian Solomon-Ferguson was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup squad.

The Casino RSM Cougars youngster was part of the Titans JTS Elite Development Program and was part of the Titans 2022 U14 JTS High Performance Academy Group One squad that commenced training in November 2022 in Ballina on a weekly basis.

In early December 2022 Vivian Solomon-Ferguson played for the Titans U14 Group One Academy squad in a trial against the Titans U14 Group 18 Academy squad in a trial match at Ballina with both teams wearing Titans jerseys with the Titans U14 Group One Academy defeating the Group 18 Titans Academy Side in a high quality encounter.

Vivian Solomon-Ferguson then continued on with the Titans Development Squad attending four additional sessions in February 2023 as part of a Titans Tweed – Ballina combined Development Squad that the Titans established.

Ricco Waitititi continued at right centre for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against Northern United with Ricco Waitititi recording the first of his two try assists in the 30th minute when after receiving the ball on the right side of the field Ricco Waitititi ran the ball from thirteen metres from the try line to within eight metres of the try line with Ricco Waitititi then drawing the Northern United left winger to put his right winger over to score in the corner.

Ricco Waitititi recorded his second try assist in the 56th minute when after receiving the ball down a short left blindside on the halfway mark, Ricco Waitititi ran ten metres downfield before drawing a defender and off-loading to his left to Micah Leaupepe Perkins who beat the fullback to score in the left corner.

Inside the opening minute of the match Ricco Waitititi ran the ball from the left of the dummy half to get the ball from twenty three metres out from his own try line to thirty seven metres out.

Bo Peisley continued at halfback for the Murwillumbah Mustangs in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Bilambil Jets with Bo Peisley scoring a try and kicking two conversions with Bo Peisley kicking his first conversion from directly in front of the goal posts in the 17th minute. Bo Peisley then converted his own try from in front of the posts in the 59th minute.

Bo Peisley scored in the 59th minute when he backed up a Mustangs line break down the right touchline to receive the pass and run sixteen metres to put the ball down under the posts untouched. Bo Peisley then converted his own try.

Bo Peisley also recorded a line break assist in the 22nd minute when after receiving the ball to the left of the dummy half five metres inside his own territory Bo Peisley threw a cut-out pass to his left to put his left centres away down the left touchline.

In the 44th minute Bo Peisley followed through a grubber kick and grabbed the Bilambil right winger and forced him back into the in-goal to require the Jets to restart the match through a goal line drop-out.

The conclusion of the 2023 NRRRL U18 regular season saw Bo Peisley finish as the competitions leading points scorer with 102 points.

In 2023 even though Dylan Butcher was still U16 eligible Dylan Butcher played a number of matches for the Mullumbimby Giants U18 NRRRL side including starting at left second row and putting in a good performance against the Murwillumbah Mustangs. Dylan Butcher also started at left second row in Round Fourteen against the Ballina Seagulls.

At the completion of the NRRRL U18 season Dylan Butcher was the co-winner of the 2023 Mullumbimby Colts U18 Most Consistent Award.

Earlier in the 6th minute Lachlan Offley picked up a Devils lost ball three metres out from his own try line on the left side of the field and after running the ball back towards the centre of the field Lachlan Offley was able to relieve the pressure and get the ball out to the twenty three metre mark.

Riley Buchanan made a line break in the 38th minute when after running an underneath route to the right of the play the ball thirty metres out from his own try line, Riley Buchanan burst through the teeth of the Mustangs defensive line. Riley Buchanan was almost tripped up as he charged between defenders but Riley Buchanan was able to regain his balance and charged to within twenty metres of the try line, directly in front of the goal posts.

Also, in the 21st minute from a Bilambil penalty restart Riley Buchanan ran onto the ball twenty six metres out from his own try line and was able to get the ball out to the forty metre mark.

Micah Leaupepe Perkins continued at left centre for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against Northern United with Micah Leaupepe Perkins scoring once again in the 56th minute when after Ricco Waitititi drew one Northern United defender, he passed to his left to Micah Leaupepe Perkins forty metres out from the try line and when still thirty five metres out, Micah Leaupepe Perkins was able to fend off the Northern United fullback with a straight right arm and then run down the left touchline to score in the left corner.

Micah Leaupepe Perkins also made a line break in the 11th minute when after taking possession of the ball two passes to the left of the play the ball, Micah Leaupepe Perkins received the ball just four metres out from his own try line with Micah Leaupepe Perkins then bursting between two defenders to get the ball to twenty nine metres out from the try line.

Micah Leaupepe Perkins had a very eventful first minute of the match when from his kick-off to the right Northern United made a line break down the Seagulls right touchline with Micah Leaupepe Perkins racing across field and after the Northern United five eight put in a chip kick for himself near the halfway mark, Micah Leaupepe Perkins was able to beat him to the ball twenty metres out from the try line.

Creedence Donovan continued at five eight for the Bilambil Jets in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Murwillumbah Mustangs with Creedence Donovan scoring in the 11th minute with Creedence Donovan also initiate the movement that saw him score. From the right of the play the ball forty metres out from his own try line, Creedence Donovan ran at the Mustangs defensive line and at the last moment, passed inside on a set play to Tyrese Bowman who broke through the defensive line and then when forty metres out from the try line Tyrese Bowman drew the Murwillumbah fullback and passed the ball back to his left to Creedence Donovan who raced away to score under the posts.

In the 48th minute from the left of the play the ball and sixteen metres out from the try line in the centre of the field Creedence Donovan put in a right foot chip kick towards the left corner with the ball taken over the touchline in the in-goal area to require a Murwillumbah goal line drop-out to restart the match.

In Late September PBC SHS student Brock Tighe was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup squad after a strong 2023 NRRRL U18 season with the Tweed Heads Seagulls.

Brock Tighe also played in the 2023 U17 Koori Knock-out with the Godfrey Swan Memorial U17 side.

In early October 2023 Titans contracted Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu was named in the 2024 Brisbane Tigers U17 Cyril Connell Cup squad with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu also CC Cup eligible in 2025.

Even though he was still U15 eligible in 2023 Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu started all of the Brisbane Tigers U16 Cyril Connell Cup matches at left centre with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu scoring on three occasions from his six matches to record a 50% try scoring strike rate over the course of the 2023 CC Cup season.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu scored his first 2023 CC Cup try in Round Two against the Tweed Heads Seagulls in the 3rd minute when after receiving the ball from his inside when twenty two metres out from the try line, Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu charged towards the left corner holding one defender off with a strong right arm fend with Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu then getting the ball down two metres in from the left corner post.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu scored his second try in Round Four against the Redcliffe Dolphins in the 53rd minute when from two metres from the try line Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu ran to his left out of dummy half to crash over mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu added a third try in the 55th minute of the Round Six match against the Souths Logan Magpies when after receiving the ball around five metres out on the left side of the field Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu initially juggled the ball before taking clean possession and driving over to score two metres in from the left corner post.

At the completion of the 2023 CC Cup competition Jahzayis Perenara-Livapulu was named the Brisbane Tigers 2023 CC Cup Most Improved Player.

Noah Waldock continued at five eight for the Ballina Seagulls in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Byron Bay Devils with Noah Waldock running onto the ball to the left of the dummy half in the 30th minute for get the ball from ten metres inside his own territory to four metres into Devils territory.

Noah Waldock had a strong match defensively including in the 19th minute when from a Ballina kick-off when Noah Waldock grabbed the Byron Bay left second rower No. 11 and force him over the touchline to give Ballina the scrum feed thirty metres out from the try line.

Noah Waldock then made a good covering tackle on the Byron Bay left winger No. 5 to force a knock on two metres out from the try line and two metres in from the right touchline.

Braxton Wilson-Clune started from the bench for Mabel Park SHS in Round One of the 2023 School Boy Langer Cup competition against Redcliffe SHS with Braxton Wilson-Clune operating in the halves when he came on in the 22nd minute with Braxton Wilson-Clune making a stepping run shortly after coming on from fourteen metres out with Braxton Wilson-Clune getting close to scoring but grounded the ball just short of the try line.

Braxton Wilson-Clune was also named to start from the bench in Round Two against Wavell SHS and after coming onto the field to operate in the halves in the 18th minute Braxton Wilson-Clune recorded a try assist in the 43rd minute when from the left of the play the ball around twelve metres out, Braxton Wilson-Clune delayed a pass to his right to the last possible moment to put his right second rower over to score a critical try in a great Mabel Park SHS 16 – 6 victory.

Braxton Wilson-Clune continued from the bench in Round Three against PBC SHS coming onto the field in the 22nd minute.

Braxton Wilson-Clune also started from the bench in Round Four against Ipswich SHS with Braxton Wilson-Clune scoring in the 21st minute when after backing up a grubber kick on the inside Braxton Wilson-Clune was able to retrieve the ball over his head just before the try line and dive over to score next to the left upright.

Then in the 48th minute Braxton Wilson-Clune received the ball two passes to the right of the dummy half on the halfway mark and made fifteen metres after sliding between two defenders.

Braxton Wilson-Clune was then named on the bench in Round Five against Caloundra SHS and in the Round Six Logan derby against Marsden SHS however a late change saw Braxton Wilson-Clune start the match at lock and took the second hit of the match to get the ball out to the thirty metre mark.

Braxton Wilson-Clune then continued at lock in Round Seven against Keebra Park SHS with Braxton Wilson-Clune involved in the opening tackle of the match from the Mabel Park SHS kick-off.

Braxton Wilson-Clune made a good grappling tackle in the 40th minute on the Keebra Park SHS five eight forcing a knock-on in the centre of the field and thirty five metres from his own try line.

After Mabel Park SHS finished second on the 2023 School Boy Rugby League langer Cup table after the completion of the regular season, Braxton Wilson-Clune started at lock wing for Mabel Park SHS in their Quarter Final clash against Wavell SHS with Braxton Wilson-Clube make a desperate tackle on the Wavell SHS halfback fifteen metres inside his own territory after the halfback had made a half break.

At the conclusion of the Langer Cup Braxton Wilson-Clune was named by the Courier Mail as one of the hardest working players in the 2023 School Boy Rugby League Langer Cup competition.

2023 also saw Braxton Wilson-Clune line up for the Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the Brisbane Rugby League U18 Division One competition with Braxton Wilson-Clune spending time at both centre and fullback, including starting the 2023 Grand Final in the centres against the Redcliffe Dolphins.

Braxton Wilson-Clune scored a double in Round Eleven against the Souths Magpies and Braxton Wilson-Clune also scored in Week One of the Finals and Round Thirteen on both occasions against the Redcliffe Dolphins.

Reece Warburton started at halfback for the Lower Clarence Magpies in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Casino Cougars with Reece Warburton recording a try assist in the 31st minute when after being put in a gap by Kennyon Elisaia-Thomas, Reece Warburton darted down the left touchline from his own thirty two metre mark and then with the Casino fullback coming across in cover defence, Reece Warburton when ten metres inside Casino territory got the ball back inside to Kennyon Elisaia-Thomas who raced away to score under the posts.

Earlier in the 8th minute Reece Warburton ran the ball down a short right blindside from thirteen metres out and when he was three metres out Reece Warburton put in a right foot grubber kick which was knocked on by the Cougars on the try line to give the Magpies another set of six tackle deep on the attack.

Zachariah Williams moved to right centre for the Lower Clarence Magpies in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Casino Cougars with Zachariah Williams kicking four conversions in a hard fought Magpies victory. Zachariah Williams kicked his initial conversion in the 24th minute from five metres to the left of the goal posts with Zachariah Williams kicking his second conversion from directly in front in the 31st minute.

Zachariah Williams kicked his third conversion in the 38th minute from directly in front of the goal posts to convert Grant Byers-Brown’s try and kicked his final conversion in the 45th minute from three metres to the left of the goal posts.

Zachariah Williams made an immediately impact on the match when his kick-off went over the dead ball line on the bounce to force a Casino goal line drop-out.

In the 6th minute Zachariah Williams did well after receiving the ball twenty metres out from his own try line and to the right of the play the ball to break three tackles as Zachariah Williams got the ball out to the forty to metre mark with Zachariah Williams’s pass to his right knocked down by Casino with Lower Clarence getting six more tackles after they regained possession of the ball.

Zachariah Williams then made a good run down the right touchline in the 41st minute to get to within thirteen metres of the try line after receiving a pass from his left from Grant Byers-Brown when thirty metres out from the try line.

Zachariah Williams did very well in the 42nd minute with a great take on the full of a Casino short kick-off to the Magpies right just after the ball had broken the ten metre plane.

Round One of the 2023 GPS School Boy Rugby First XV competition saw Titans contracted Dallas Ingram named on the bench for TSS against Ipswich Grammar School as well as St Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace in Round Two, Round Three against Brisbane State High School and Round Four against Brisbane Grammar School.

Dallas Ingram was also named on the bench in Round Six against Anglican Church Grammar School and Round Seven against Toowoomba Grammar School. Dallas Ingram was also named on the bench in the final round being Round Nine against St Joseph’s College Nudgee.

Round One of the 2023 GPS School Boy Rugby U16A competition saw Dallas Ingram named at inside centre (No. 12) for TSS against Ipswich Grammar School as well as St Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace in Round Two.

Round Three against Brisbane State High School saw Dallas Ingram moved to fly half (No. 10) before moving back to inside centre (No. 12) for Round Four against Brisbane Grammar School as well as Round Five against Brisbane Boys College.

Dallas Ingram then moved back to fly half for Round Six against Anglican Church Grammar School and Round Seven against Toowoomba Grammar School. Dallas Ingram was also named at flyhalf (No. 10) in the final round being Round Nine against St Joseph’s College Nudgee.

In late April 2023 Dallas Ingram was named on the bench for the TSS First XV in their internal trial against a TSS Second XV squad, with the TSS First XV side winning 25 – 0. Dallas Ingram was also named on the TSS First XV bench for their mid-May GPS trial against St Joseph’s Nudgee College.

Dallas Ingram was then named at fullback for the TSS First XV for a trial against Anglican Church Grammar School and Dallas Ingram also started at fullback in the TSS First XV trial at home against Toowoomba Grammar School.

Then Dallas Ingram started from the bench in an early June 2023 trial away to Brisbane Boys College and earlier in the day Dallas Ingram had started at fly half (No. 10) for the TSS U16A side also against BBC in a GPS School Boy Rugby trial.

2023 saw Judah Marsden move to The Southport School (TSS) with Judah Marsden starting at outside centre (No. 13) in Round Five against Brisbane Boys College (BBC) and in Round Six against Anglican Church grammar School. Judah Marsden then moved to fly half (No. 10) for Round Seven against Toowoomba Grammar School.

With TSS having a Round Eight bye, Judah Marsden was named at inside centre (No. 12) for the TSS U14A side in a trial against Downlands College. Judah Marsden was then named at outside centre in the final round being Round Nine against St Joseph’s College Nudgee.

2023 saw Kyhum Torrens line up for Cudgen Gold in the Group 18 U13 competition with Kyhum Torrens starting in the front row in the Grand Final against the Tweed Heads Seagulls.

2023 also saw Kyhum Torrens play in the U13 Country Cup for Kingscliff High School.

Impressively in both 2022 and 2023 Kyhum Torrens was named the best defender in the Cudgen Hornets Junior Rugby League club.

In late September 2023 Gary Whare-Herlihy was named in the 2024 Burleigh Bears U19 Mal Meninga Cup squad.

In late September 2022 Gary Whare-Herlihy was named in the 2023 Burleigh Bears U18 MM Cup squad.

Gary Whare-Herlihy started from the bench for the Bears in Round Four against the Norths Devils with Gary Whare-Herlihy coming onto the field to operate in the dummy half role in the 30th minute.

Gary Whare-Herlihy recorded a line break and line break assist in the same play in the 38th minute when after receiving an off-load from his right from Oscar Lanfranchi forty metres out from his own try line. After Gary Whare-Herlihy burst eighteen metres through the centre of the field, Gary Whare-Herlihy’s jersey was grabbed from behind but he was able to get an off-load away to his right to Ryder Williams who made fifteen metres more downfield.

Gary Whare-Herlihy made a smart run out of dummy half to his left in the 47th minute from thirty metres out from the try line with Gary Whare-Herlihy getting the ball to eighteen metres away from the try line.

In early 2023 Gary Whare-Herlihy was named in the South Coast Maroon School Boy Open Representative side with Gary Whare-Herlihy starting from the bench on Day One against Met North with Gary Whare-Herlihy coming onto the field to operate in the dummy half role in the 14th minute.

Gary Whare-Herlihy did well in the 56th minute with a smart run out of dummy half to his left from eleven metres short of the halfway mark with the speed of Gary Whare-Herlihy’s run catching multiple defenders off-side with the subsequent penalty putting South Coast Maroon deep on the attack.

Gary Whare-Herlihy also started from the bench on Day Two against Met West with Gary Whare-Herlihy playing in the dummy half role when he came onto the field in the 15th minute.

Gary Whare-Herlihy also started from the bench on Day Three against Capricornia with Gary Whare-Herlihy making a smart run out of dummy half in the 31st minute when after running to his left out of dummy half from thirty metres out from his own try line with Gary Whare-Herlihy getting the ball to within four metres of the halfway mark.

Gary Whare-Herlihy also came off the bench in the Day Four third against fourth play-off against Sunshine Coast with Gary Whare-Herlihy doing well in the 21st minute when with the play the ball five metres inside Sunshine Coast territory Gary Whare-Herlihy initially ran to his left but cut back to his right and after making ten metres Gary Whare-Herlihy was able to off-load the ball to his right.

Nathaniel Kapeen started from the bench for the Lower Clarence Magpies in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Casino Cougars and after coming onto the field in the 11th minute Nathaniel Kapeen immediately took his opening hit-up from the right of the play the ball and carry the ball to thirty eight metres out from his own try line.

In the 17th minute from the left of the dummy half Nathaniel Kapeen was able to get the ball from just eight metres out from his own try line to twenty three metres out through a strong yardage carry. Also in the 21st minute to the right of the play the ball Nathaniel Kapeen cut back underneath his halfback from thirteen metres out and came within centremetres of scoring three metres to the right of the goal posts.

Nathaniel Kapeen, in the 42nd minute and from the right of the play the ball ran the ball down a short blindside from ten metres out and was able to get to within centremetres of scoring six metres in from the right touchline. Then in the 46th minute Nathaniel Kapeen ran the ball from thirty four metres out from his own try line to the halfway mark with 70% of Nathaniel Kapeen’s metres down the right channel being post contact.

2023 saw Marquis Sando move to The Southport School (TSS) with Marquis Sando making his first appearance off the bench for the TSS U14A Rugby side in a GPS School Boy trial against Downlands College. Marquis Sando has also come off the bench for the TSS U14A side in subsequent trials against Toowoomba Grammar School and St Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace.

In Round Six against Anglican Church Grammar School Marquis Sando was named on the bench for the TSS U14A side. Marquis Sando then moved into the TSS U14 A starting side at inside centre for Round Seven against Toowoomba Grammar School with Marquis Sando being named the TSS Player of the match.

With TSS having a Round Eight bye, Marquis Sando was named at outside centre (No. 13) for the TSS U14A side in a trial against Downlands College with Marquis Sando being named the TSS Player of the Match for the second week in a row. Marquis Sando was then named at inside centre in the final round being Round Nine against St Joseph’s College Nudgee.

Antowne Quinlan-Randall started in the front row for the Lower Clarence Magpies in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Casino Cougars with Antowne Quinlan-Randall running onto the ball in the 3rd minute from the right of the play the ball to carry the ball from thirty eight metres from his own try line to four metres into Casino territory.

In the 18th minute from the right of the dummy half and thirty seven metres out from his own try line Antowne Quinlan-Randall was able to promote the ball to the halfway mark with 60% of Antowne Quinlan-Randall’s metres post contact. Then in the 27th minute Antowne Quinlan-Randall made a good kick-off return after taking the kick-on on the bounce and get the ball out to the twenty five metre mark.

Antowne Quinlan-Randall, 31st minute from two passes to the left of the play the ball was able to get the ball to the thirty seven metre mark after receiving the ball twenty two metres out from his own try line. Then in the 53rd minute from the left of the play the ball Antowne Quinlan-Randall surged onto the ball forty metres from his own try line and got the ball seven metres into Casino territory.

In the 28th minute Antowne Quinlan-Randall put a big front on hit over the top on the Casino left second rower No. 11 thirty eight metres from the try line.

In early June 2023 Ryder Nelson started on the right wing for the TSS U15A School Boy rugby side for their GPS trial against Brisbane Boys College and a week prior Ryder Nelson also started on the right wing in a trial against Toowoomba Grammar School.

Round One of the 2023 GPS School Boy Rugby U15A competition saw Ryder Nelson start on the right wing (N0. 14) against Ipswich Grammar School in Round Two against St Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace as well as in Round Three against Brisbane State High School and Round Four against Brisbane Grammar School.

Ryder Nelson then moved to fullback for Round Five against Brisbane Boys College and continued at fullback in Round Six against Anglican Church Grammar School and Round Seven against Toowoomba Grammar School. Ryder Nelson was also named at fullback in the final round being Round Nine against St Joseph’s College Nudgee.

2023 also saw Ryder Nelson represent the Northern Region U15 School Boy Rugby League Representative side at the New South Wales Combined High School trials.

2023 saw Ryder Nelson continue to play for the Mullumbimby Giants in the Group 18 U15 competition with Ryder Nelson starting at fullback in the Grand Final against Byron Bay Lennox Head.

In late September 2023 Waaka Hepi was named in the 2024 Burleigh Bears U19 Mal Meninga Cup squad.

Round One of the 2023 Langer Reserve School Boy competition saw Waaka Hepi named in the second row for Keebra Park SHS agaisnt Ipswich SHS with Waaka Hepi them moving to the bench in Round Two against Marsden SHS as well as for Round Three against Redcliffe SHS.

Waaka Hepi then started in the front row in Round Four against Caloundra SHS and Round Five against Wavell SHS. Waaka Hepi then moved to the bench in the Round Six local derby against PBC SHS.

In late September 2022 Waaka Hepi was named in the powerful 2023 Burleigh Bears U18 MM Cup squad with Waaka Hepi part of the Tweed Heads Seagulls side that played a Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup squad in a trial at Burleigh Juniors as part of the Titans Annual Super Saturday series of matches.

Waaka Hepi started in the front row in the Bears third and final trial against the Brisbane Tigers with Waaka Hepi recording a try assist and line break in the 63rd minute when from twenty metres out from his own try line Waaka Hepi burst through a gap in the Tigers defensive line off a pass from Cooper Bai with Waaka Hepi taking the ball into Tigers territory before drawing the fullback and passing to his left to Zyraom Taurara-Herlihy who raced away to score untouched.

Waaka Hepi did well in the 11th minute when after charging onto the ball to the right of the play the ball and around forty metres out Waaka Hepi was able to get an off-load away when in contact with two defenders to Ryder Williams.

Waaka Hepi then made a strong charge over the twenty metre mark in the 14th minute from the Tigers kick-off from Zac Kumbamong’s try with Waaka Hepi subsequently being awarded a penalty for being held down too long in the tackle.

Waaka Hepi was named to start in the front row in Round One of the 2023 U18 Mal Meninga Cup competition for the Bears against the Wynnum Manly Seagulls however Waaka Hepi was a late scratching from the match.

Waaka Hepi was then named on the bench for Round Two against the Souths Logan Magpies however once again Waaka Hepi was a late scratching from the Bears side.

Round Three against the Brisbane Tigers saw Waaka Hepi start from the bench and come on to operate in the front row in the 29th minute. Waaka Hepi was heavily involved in Sam Stephenson’s 37th minute try when after engaging the Tigers defensive line ten metres from the try line Waaka Hepi whilst engaged with two defenders was able to get a right arm off-load away behind him to Nayte Saaga who subsequently ran to his left to put Sam Stephenson over to score his second try of the match in the 37th minute.

Then in the 52nd minute Waaka Hepi charged onto the ball to the right of the play the ball from thirty five metres out and in the centre of the field with Waaka Hepi carrying the ball to four metres inside Brisbane Tigers territory.

Waaka Hepi also started from the bench in the Round Seven local derby against the Tweed Heads Seagulls with Waaka Hepi coming onto the field in the 21st minute and almost immediately Waaka Hepi made a great front on tackle on the Seagulls No. 14 who was returning a kick-off with Waaka Hepi hitting him front on just ten metres out and in front of the goal posts.

Then in the 36th minute Waaka Hepi ran onto the ball to the left of the play the ball from thirty three metres out from his own try line to five metres of the halfway mark.

Waaka Hepi continued at Keebra Park SHS in 2022 playing mainly in the Langer Reserve School Boy competition including a strong performance in Round Five against Redcliffe SHS with Waaka Hepi starting at left second row and scoring one of Keebra Park SHS’s tries in their big win.

Round Seven of the Langer Reserve competition saw Waaka Hepi start on the bench against Mabel Park SHS with Waaka Hepi coming on to operate at left second row in the 13th minute with Waaka Hepi scoring in the 25th minute when he followed through a grubber kick from close range from the Keebra Park SHS replacement dummy half with Waaka Hepi getting through and smartly taking his time to ground the ball three metres to the right of the uprights.

Waaka Hepi then started at left second row for Keebra Park SHS in the 2022 Langer Reserve School Boy Semi-final against PBC SHS.

Waaka Hepi also played some matches in the Keebra Park SHS Year 11/12 Titans Cup Division One side including starting a number of matches late in the season at lock against Marsden SHS.

Kennyon Elasia-Thomas scored his opening try 24th minute when after running out of dummy half to his right from ten metres out, Kennyon Elasia-Thomas stepped off his left foot then his right to create space and dive over to score five metres to the left of the goal posts.

Kennyon Elasia-Thomas added a second try in the 31st minute when after receiving the ball thirty two metres out from his own try line and to the left of the play the ball, Kennyon Elasia-Thomas showed the ball to the side of his body in his left hand before dummying in the same direction and stepping off his left foot to slice between two defenders. When in space Kennyon Elasia-Thomas got the ball away to his left to Reece Warburton who burst away down the left touchline and then got the ball back inside to Kennyon Elasia-Thomas who had an uninterrupted forty metre run to put the ball down under the posts untouched.

Titans contracted Viliami Fifita returned to TSS in 2023 and started at tight head prop for the TSS U15A GPS Rugby School Boy rugby side in their late May trial against Anglican Church Grammar School as well as in the following trial against Toowoomba Grammar School in early June. Viliami Fifita then moved to loose head prop for the TSS U15A’s trial away to Brisbane Boys College.

Round One of the 2023 GPS School Boy Rugby U15A competition saw Viliami Fifita start at tight head prop (N0. 3) against Ipswich Grammar School, in Round Two against St Joseph’s College Gregory Terrace as well as in Round Three against Brisbane State High School and Round Four against Brisbane Grammar School.

Viliami Fifita then moved to the opposite side of the front row to loose head prop (No. 1) for Round Five against Brisbane Boys College and continued at loose head prop in Round Six against Anglican Church Grammar School and Round Seven against Toowoomba Grammar School. Viliami Fifita was also named at loose head prop in the final round being Round Nine against St Joseph’s College Nudgee.

Levi Dangerfield started at left second row for the Cudgen Hornets in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against Tweed Coast Raiders with Levi Dangerfield scoring in the 4th minute by way of a three metre run to get the ball down next to the left upright after receiving an off-load from his right.

In the 11th minute from the left of the play the ball Levi Dangerfield brought the ball out from his own thirty metre mark to the forty two metre mark.

Levi Dangerfield made a strong tackle in the 13th minute with a driving effort on the Tweed Coast front rower No. 8 to force him back five metres in the centre of the field to thirty metres out from the try line. Then in the 15th minute Levi Dangerfield did even better to hold up the same Raiders front rower over the try line five metres to the left of the goal posts.

Reico Ratana continued at right second row for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in the HDC Preliminary Final against the Townsville Blackhawks with Reico Ratana running onto the ball down the right channel in the 41st minute to promote the ball from forty metres out from the try line to twenty four metres out with Reico Ratana then being awarded a penalty for a strip of the ball with more than one defender in the tackle.

Also in the 47th minute from two passes to the left of the play the ball, Reico Ratana was able to carry the ball from thirty nine metres out from his own try line to two metres into Townsville territory. Then in the 64th minute from the left of the play the ball Reico Ratana ran the ball out from his own twenty four metre mark to the thirty seven metre mark.

Stevie O’Connor continued at fullback in Round Sixteen against the Cudgen Hornets with Stevie O’Connor scoring both of the Raiders tries as well as converting his own 24th minute try from directly in front.

Stevie O’Connor scored his first try in the 7th minute when after receiving the ball from his left seven metres out with the play the ball a metre from the try line and a metre in from the left touchline, Stevie O’Connor dummied to his right before spinning around clockwise to run back to his left and after dummying in that same direction, Stevie O’Connor got between two defenders to score four metres in from the left corner post. Then Stevie O’Connor returned the ball from the subsequent kick-off back to the thirty metre mark.

Stevie O’Connor completed his double in the 24th minute when after putting in a right foot chip kick for himself from thirty metres from the try line and to the left of the play the ball, Stevie O’Connor was on hand to retrieve the ball after it rebounded off the Cudgen fullback to run eighteen metres to score under the posts. Then Stevie O’Connor returned the ball from the subsequent kick-off once again to get the ball back to the twenty six metre mark.

Stevie O’Connor did well in the 10th minute to stay on his left touchline to stop a Hornets kick from going into touchline from a penalty with Stevie O’Connor taking the kick on the full on the touchline thirty three metres out from his own try line. Stevie O’Connor then after running the ball back towards the centre of the field was able to get the ball three metres into Cudgen territory.

Then in the 20th minute Stevie O’Connor picked up a lost Cudgen ball on the right side of the field and just three metres out from his own try line with Stevie O’Connor then running the ball through the centre of the field and breaking three tackles to get the ball to twenty metres out from the try line.

In the 24th minute from the right of the play the ball Stevie O’Connor was able to promote the ball from twenty two metres out from his own try line to thirty eight metres out.

Grant Byers-Brown started at fullback, wearing the No. 3 jersey, for the Lower Clarence Magpies in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Casino Cougars with Grant Byers-Brown scoring in the 39th minute when Grant Byers flowed through a line break by Kennyon Elisaia-Thomas to receive a pass from his left and run forty five metres to score under the posts untouched.

Grant Byers-Brown made come close to scoring earlier in the 22nd minute when after receiving the ball ten metres out from the try line and two passes to the left of the dummy half Grant Byers-Brown dummied to his left before running himself and seemingly got the ball down over the try line ten metres in from the left corner post but the referee ruled that Grant Byers-Brown had knocked the ball on just prior to the try line.

Grant Byers-Brown also made a line break in the 41st minute when from two passes to the left of the play the ball Grant Byers-Brown received the ball on the halfway mark and then executed an in and away to get on the outside of his opposite defenders and after running twenty metres down the left channel Grant Byers-Brown got a right arm flick off-load away to his right to Zachariah Williams who was able to get to within thirteen metres of the try line.

In the 6th minute of the match Grant Byers-Brown took a Casino kick on the full four metres out from his own try line in front of his goal posts and then was able to return the ball to the twenty metre mark.

Grant Byers-Brown also had a good match defensively including in the 16th minute with a good low cover defending tackle in open space on the Casino right centre No. 3 with Grant Byers-Brown brining him down after a line break sixteen metres out from the try line.

Then in the 23rd minute Grant Byers-Brown turned and chased and ran down the Casino left centre with Grant Byers-Brown turning and chasing from ten metres out from the try line and mow him down from behind on the halfway mark.

Grant Byers-Brown also made a try saving tackle in the 37th minute when after covering ground to his right Grant Byers-Brown crunched the Casino left winger No. 2 two metres out from the try line and three metres in from the right touchline with Grant Byers-Brown’s heavy front-on ball and all tackle forcing the Cougars winger over the touchline with the ball also coming loose at the same time.

Grant Byers-Brown made another good one on one tackle in open space when in the 57th minute Grant Byers-Brown brought down the Casino halfback with a low left shoulder tackle thirteen metres out from the try line after the halfback had made a line break.

Then in the 39th minute Tanu Nona once again ran out of dummy half, on this occasion to his left before cutting back to his left from forty metres out from his own try line with Tanu Nona getting to the halfway mark before getting an off-load away to his right.

In the 54th minute Tanu Nona ran out of dummy half to his right with Tanu Nona breaking three tackles as he got the ball from ten metres out from his own try line to thirty three metres out.

Reece Warburton continued at halfback for the Lower Clarence Magpies in the Week One NRRRL U18 Elimination Final against the Bilambil Jets with Reece Warburton scoring in the 4th minute when from forty metres out and to the left of the play the ball Reece Warburton dummied twice to his left before slicing between two defenders to race down the left touchline and when he was about two metres from the left corner post, Reece Warburton stopped on a dime to let the Jets fullback sail past and then crossed try lien to put the ball down two metres in from the left corner post.

Reece Warburton finished the 2023 NRRRL U18 season as the Magpies equal leading try scorer alongside AJ Hickling and Kennyon Elasia-Thomas. Reece Warburton also received the 2023 Lower Clarence Magpies NRRRL U18 Coaches Award.

Isaac Harrison made his first NRRRL First Grade start in the front row in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition for the Bilambil Jets against the Murwillumbah Mustangs with Isaac Harrison making the fourth hit-up of the match from the right of the play the ball to get the ball out to the thirty eight metre mark.

In the 12th minute Isaac Harrison make a strong Mustangs goal line drop-out return to bring the ball back to the thirty two metre mark. Then in the 15th minute from the right of the play the ball Isaac Harrison carried the ball from the halfway mark to forty metres from the try line.

Kai Smallwood moved back to the right wing for the Bilambil Jets in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL First Grade competition against the Murwillumbah Mustangs with Kai Smallwood scoring in the 71st minute when Kai Smallwood took a kick to his wing on the full and had a relatively comfortable eight metre run to score in the right corner.

In the 9th minute of the match Kai Smallwood ran out of dummy half to his right and got the ball from twenty eight metres out from his own try line to the forty three metre mark.

Defensively in the 46th minute Kai Smallwood made a driving right shoulder tackle on his opposite winger right on his own try line to force a knock-on, then in the 58th minute Kai Smallwood ran down the Murwillumbah fullback from behind after he had made a line break twenty metres out from the try line.

Titans contracted Junior Filimaua started at right second row for the Helensvale Hornets in the Week One GCRL U18 Division One Elimination Final against the Coomera Cutters with Junior Filimaua scoring a great solo try in the 47th minute when after picking up a pass in the first bounce from his right in the centre of the field twenty two metres from the try line, Junior Filimaua ran to his right before stepping off right foot bursting between two defenders with Junior Filimaua breaking an attempted jersey tackle with Junior Filimaua comfortably pushing past another defender to score seven metres to the right of the goal posts.

Junior Filimaua made the fourth hit-up of the match to get the ball from his own twenty two metre mark out to the thirty four metre mark.

In the 5th minute from a Helensvale penalty restart Junior Filimaua carried the ball from forty two metres from the try line to within twenty nine metres. Then in the 9th minute from the left of the play the ball the speed of Junior Filimaua’s run saw him catch the Cutters defensive line off-side after running the ball from six metres out from his own try line to thirteen metres out before the penalty was awarded.

Also in the 14th minute from the right of the play the ball Junior Filimaua was able to promote the ball from fifteen metres out from his own try line to twenty eight metres out. Junior Filimaua, in the 23rd minute ran onto a pass to the left of the dummy half and was able to promote the ball from twenty nine metres out from his own try line to the halfway mark.

Junior Filimaua followed up with another run to the left of the play the ball to get the ball within eighteen metres of the try line after commencing his run thirty one metres out with Junior Filimaua then awarded a penalty for ruck interference after he was brought to ground by multiple Coomera defenders.

2023 saw Deshawn Compton continue at Keebra Park SHS with Deshawn Compton moving up to the School Boy Renouf Shield Competition with Deshawn Compton starting at hooker and was the sole try scorer against Wavell SHS in Round One.

In the 12th minute Deshawn Compton moved out of dummy half to his left and after dummying in the same direction Deshawn Compton darted forward to burrow his way over the try line from four metres out to get the ball down mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

A minute earlier in the 11th minute Deshawn Compton had run out of dummy half to his right to carry the ball from twenty five metres out from the try line to fourteen metres out, breaking three tackles along the way.

In the 17th minute Deshawn Compton ran to his right out of dummy half from forty two metres, getting to within thirty metres of the try line.

After missing Round Two Deshawn Compton started at hooker in Round Three against Marsden SHS with Deshawn Compton running out of dummy half to his right in the 24th minute to get the ball from sixteen metres from his own try line to thirty two metres out.

Denzel Silby also started on the left wing for Round Two against Ipswich SHS.

Denzel Silby continued on the left wing in Round Three against Marsden SHS in Denzel Silby kicking a conversion in the 5th minute from ten metres in from the left touchline to convert Ike Billish’s try.

Denzel Silby also made a line break in the 4th minute with a good run down the left touchline from thirty three metres out from his own try line to the halfway mark.

Denzel Silby did well defensively in the 21st minute to race out of the defensive line when defending on his own try line and facing an overlap to hit the Marsden SHS right centre and force a forward pass.

Denzel Silby then moved to the bench for Round Four against Redcliffe SHS with Denzel Silby scoring a great solo try in the 33rd minute when after receiving the ball to the left of the play the ball around thirty three metres from the try line, Denzel Silby exploded through the Redcliffe SHS defensive line and just kept going to score nine metres to the left of the uprights.

Round One of the 2023 School Boy Renouf Cup competition saw William Hamblin start at fullback for Keebra Park SHS against Wavell SHS with William Hamblin making a line break in the 12th minute when William Hamblin ran the ball down a short left blindside from five metres inside his own territory and after breaking through the Wavell SHS defensive line William Hamblin ran the ball to five metres inside Wavell SHS territory before passing to his inside to keep the play alive.

In the 4th minute after running onto the ball to the right of the dummy half William Hamblin made a half break from five metres inside his own territory to thirty two metres out from the Wavell SHS try line with approximately 70% of the metres that William Hamblin gained being post contact with the Wavell SHS defensive line.

In the 15th minute William Hamblin ran to his left and after cleaning picking up a bouncing Wavell SHS grubber kick on his own try line William Hamblin was able to return the ball to the twenty metre mark. Then in the 29th minute from the right of the play the ball William Hamblin was able to run the ball from ten metres out from his own try line to twenty four metres out.

William Hamblin made another good kick return in the 42nd minute when after taking the ball ten metres out from his own try line William Hamblin ran to his right and after breaking away from a tackle twenty metres out, William Hamblin continued to run the ball before eventually being tackled thirty five metres out.

William Hamblin also started at fullback for Round Two against Ipswich SHS.

William Hamblin then continued at fullback in Round Three against Marsden SHS with William Hamblin making a line break in the 22nd minute when after running to his left to collect a Marsden SHS grubber kick in his own in-goal area near the left corner post, William Hamblin beat three defenders with a deft right foot step to get out of the in-goal area and run down the left touchline to get the ball out to the thirty four metre mark.

Against Marsden SHS William Hamblin made a number of try saving tackles with the first coming in the 3rd minute with a tackle in the Keebra Park SHS right corner on the Marsden SHS left winger to first hold him up over the try line before forcing him touch in-goal. William Hamblin then raced out to the twenty metre mark to take the tap restart and make ten metres downfield.

In the 13th minute after the Marsden SHS left second rower No. 12 made a line break down the right touchline, William Hamblin made a low cover defending tackle as the last line of defence thirty metres from the try line.

Then in the 17th minute William Hamblin once again Moved to his right to hit and hold up the Marsden SHS left winger over the try line before forcing him over the touchline in the in-goal area.

In Round Four against Redcliffe SHS William Hamblin continued at fullback and literally produced an outstanding play inside the opening seconds when after one of the Redcliffe SHS forwards had made a line break right from the Keebra Park SHS kick-off William Hamblin, after engaging him ten metres from the halfway mark, executed a one on one strip to immediately negate Redcliffe SHS’s strong start to the match.

William Hamblin also did well in the 12th minute with an eighteen metre run down the right touchline finishing twenty six metres out from the try line.

2023 Elijah Tagiilima played for the Southport Tigers in the Gold Coast Rugby League U18 Division One competition with Elijah Tagiilima splitting time between fullback and left centre for the Tigers.

The 2023 GCRL U18 Division One Major Semi-final saw Elijah Tagiilima start at left centre against the Currumbin Eagles with Elijah Tagiilima scoring in the 40th minute when from two passes to the left of a Tigers scrum win Daniel Rakena ran to his left when sixteen metres out dummied to an inside runner before taking the ball to the defensive line and throwing a well weighted short pass to his left to Elijah Tagiilima who burst through a gap to put the ball down next to the left goal posts.

Elijah Tagiilima also made three line breaks with the first coming in the 19th minute when from the left of the play the ball Elijah Tagiilima dummied to his left when twenty metres out from his own try line to burst through a gap and run the ball to within four metres of the halfway mark.

Elijah Tagiilima recorded his second line break in the 29th minute when after backing up a Southport line break from a Currumbin kick-off, Elijah Tagiilima received the ball forty metres from his own try line and charged to within twenty metres of the try line bit unfortunately for Elijah Tagiilima the ball was knocked from his grasp from behind.

Elijah Tagiilima’s third line break arrived in the 57th minute and was down the left touchline with Elijah Tagiilima bursting away from three metres inside Currumbin territory with Elijah Tagiilima getting an off-load back inside to his fullback when twenty metres out from the try line.

Then in the 37th minute Elijah Tagiilima recorded a line break assist when after receiving a cut-out pass from his inside from Daniel Rakena, Elijah Tagiilima got a short, sharp pass away to his left for his winger to race away down the left touchline but unfortunately the wingers pass inside to the Southport fullback was ruled forward.

Defensively in the 5th minute Elijah Tagiilima smashed the Eagles right winger after he had fielded a kick with Elijah Tagiilima’s heavy contact forcing him back five metres to just fifteen metres out from the try line.

The 2023 GCRL U18 Division One Major Semi-final saw Austin Marsters start at lock for the Southport Tigers against the Currumbin Eagles with Austin Marsters scoring in the 13th minute when after taking possession of the ball to the left of the dummy half in the centre of the field and twenty metres out, Austin Marsters ran the ball to ten metres out and after throwing an exaggerated dummy to his left Austin Marsters stepped off his left foot to beat a defender with Austin Marsters carrying another defender over the try line to score under the posts.

Earlier in the 5th minute from the left of the play the ball Austin Marsters was able to get the ball from thirty two metres out from his own try line to within five metres of the halfway mark. Then in the 27th minute from the left of the play the ball Austin Marsters carried the ball to within thirteen metres of the halfway mark from thirty two metres out with Austin Marsters breaking a tackle and with around 65% of Austin Marsters metres being post contact.

From the left of the dummy half in the 37th minute and from the halfway mark Austin Marsters was able to get the ball to the thirty two metre mark with at least 75% of the metres gained being post contact. Austin Marsters then made a strong run to the left of the dummy half to get the ball from the forty three metre mark to twenty nine metres from the try line in the 44th minute.

Austin Marsters rounded out a strong Final with a run from the left of the play the ball from ten metres inside his own territory to five metres into Currumbin territory.

The 2023 GCRL U18 Division One Major Semi-final saw Daniel Rakena start at halfback for the Southport Tigers against the Currumbin Eagles with Daniel Rakana finishing the Tigers victory with an individual points haul of sixteen points from a try and six conversions.

Daniel Rakena kicked his initial conversion from in front of the posts in the 13th minute to convert Austin Marsters try. Daniel Rakena added his second try assist in the 40th minute when from two passes to the left of a Tigers scrum win (sound familiar), Daniel Rakena ran to his left when sixteen metres out dummied to an inside runner before taking the ball to the defensive line and throwing a well weighted short pass to his left to Elijah Tagiilima who burst through a gap to put the ball down next to the left goal posts. Daniel Rakena then converted the try.

Daniel Rakena was also involved in creating an opportunity for the Tigers in the 37th minute with a smart hard, flat cut-out pass to his left to Elijah Tagiilima who subsequently put the Southport left winger away down the touchline from three metres inside Currumbin territory but the pass inside to the fullback downfield was ruled to have gone forward.

Teauariki Siaoloa started at right second row for Keebra Park SHS in Round Six of the School Boy Renouf Cup against St Mary’s College Toowoomba with Teauariki Siaoloa having an outstanding match including scoring twice in a big Keebra Park SHS victory.

Teauariki Siaoloa scored his first try in the 10th minute with a two metre run out of dummy half to his right with Teauariki Siaoloa carrying four defenders over try line to get the ball down under the posts.

Teauariki Siaoloa completed his double in the 22nd minute with a powerful charge to his left from twelve metres out with Teauariki Siaoloa smashing through five tackles to slam the ball down next to the left goal post.

Teauariki Siaoloa also recorded a line break assist in the 20th minute when after charging onto the ball to the right of the dummy half, Teauariki Siaoloa engaged the defensive line and got a great right arm flick off-load away to his right to William Hamblin who raced down the touchline but the touch judge ruled that William Hamblin had put his foot on the touchline before he planted the ball down in the right corner.

In the 34th minute from a Keebra Park SHS penalty restart Teauariki Siaoloa charged at the defensive line and after making twelve metres to within eight metres of the try line, Teauariki Siaoloa got a right arm flick off-load away to his right with Keebra Park SHS scoring in the right corner three passes later.

2023 saw Lincoln Mitchell play for Keebra Park SHS in the School Boy Rugby League Renouf Shield competition with Lincoln Mitchell scoring in the 42nd minute of Round Five against Mabel Park SHS when after running onto the ball to the right of a Keebra Park SHS penalty restart from twelve metres out, Lincoln Mitchell broke through two tackles eight metres out with Lincoln Mitchell stumbling but ultimately regaining his balance and crashing over to score three metres to the left of the goal posts.

Lincoln Mitchell had a strong Round Six match against St Marys Toowoomba with Lincoln Mitchell charging onto the ball in the 2nd minute from the right of the play the ball to get the ball from his own twenty metre mark out to the thirty one metre mark.

Lincoln Mitchell then made a good kick-off return in the 9th minute to get the ball out to the thirty five metre mark. Then in the 45th minute after running onto the ball to the left of the play the ball ran the ball from thirty five metres out from the try line to within five metres of the try line.

Lincoln Mitchell then followed up with another strong kick-off return to get the ball out to the thirty metre mark. Then two tackles later Lincoln Mitchell was able to make a further twelve metres.

2023 saw Charlie Wood continue to attend PBC SHS with Charlie Wood play in the School Boy Rugby League Renouf Cup competition with Charlie Wood starting in the front row including an outstanding performance in Round Seven against local rivals Keebra Park SHS with Charlie Wood coming close to scoring in the 21st minute when from thirteen metres out, Charlie Wood kicked up the ball from the back of a PBC SHS scrum win and after running to his left, Charlie Woods was held up over the try line two metres in from the left corner post.

Charlie Wood’s initial strong run against Keebra Park SHS came in the 11th minute from the left of the play the ball with Charlie Wood able to promote the ball from four metres out from his own try line to twenty eight metres out.

The 26th minute saw Charlie Wood make a strong kick-off return to carry the ball out to the twenty three metre mark. Then in the 28th minute from the left of the play the ball Charlie Wood ran the ball from five metres inside his own territory to ten metres into Keebra Park SHS territory.

Jett Rimaputa returned to Keebra Park SHS starting in the centres in Round Three of the 2023 School Boy Rugby League Renouf Cup competition against Marsden SHS.

Jett Rimaputa then moved to left second row in Round Four against Redcliffe SHS before moving back to the centres in Round Five against Mabel Park SHS with Jett Rimaputa scoring in the left corner in the 33rd minute after running ten metres after getting an off-load from his inside from William Hamblin.

Jett Rimaputa also started at left centre in Round Six against St Mary’s College Toowoomba with Jett Rimaputa making the first of his two line breaks in the 16th minute down the left touchline when after receiving a pass from his inside from William Hamblin, Jett Rimaputa raced down the left touchline from twenty metres out from his own try line to within thirty metres of the St Mary’s try line for getting an off-load away to his left to his winger.

Jett Rimaputa made his second line break in the 49th minute with a thirty metre burst down the left touchline to carry the ball into St Mary’s territory. Round One of the 2023 School Boy Renouf Cup competition saw Denzel Silby start on the left wing in Round One for Keebra Park SHS against Wavell SHS with Denzel Silby carry the ball from the left of a Keebra Park SHS scrum win from thirty seven metres from his own try line to four metres into Wavell SHS territory.

Denzel Silby also started on the left wing for Round Two against Ipswich SHS.

Denzel Silby continued on the left wing in Round Three against Marsden SHS in Denzel Silby kicking a conversion in the 5th minute from ten metres in from the left touchline to convert Ike Billish’s try.

Denzel Silby also made a line break in the 4th minute with a good run down the left touchline from thirty three metres out from his own try line to the halfway mark.

Denzel Silby did well defensively in the 21st minute to race out of the defensive line when defending on his own try line and facing an overlap to hit the Marsden SHS right centre and force a forward pass.

Tomasi Vaitai was not originally selected in one of the two Queensland U15 School Boys sides that were selected for the Australian U15 School Boy Championships but Tomasi Vaitai was deservedly added in late July.

Tomasi Vaitai started Match One for Queensland White in the front row against New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges with Tomasi Vaitai being named the Queensland White Player of the Match.

Tomasi Vaitai then started from the bench in Match Two against New South Wales Combined High Schools and playing in the front row after coming onto the field.

Tomasi Vaitai continued in the front row in the Semi-final against Queensland Maroon with Tomasi Vaitai making the third hit-up of the match to get the ball out to the thirty three metre mark. Also in the 46th minute from a Queensland White penalty restart Tomasi Vaitai steamed onto the ball and was able to get to ten metres from the try line after initiating his run twenty six metres out.

Tomasi Vaitai also started in the front row in the third v fourth U15 ASSRL Play-off against New South Wales Combined High Schools.

Dynari Aiolupo also started at right second row in Round Four against Redcliffe SHS with Dynari Aiolupo scoring n the 12th minute when from the left of the play the ball around twenty metres out Ezrah Tangianu put in a right foot back back to the right side of the ruck with Dynari Aiolupo racing through to collect the ball on the second bounce to score four metres to the right of the uprights.

Dynari Aiolupo then made a strong run down the right channel to inside Redcliffe SHS territory with Dynaru Aiolupo breaking six tackles as he promoted the ball thirty five metres.

Dynari Aiolupo continued at right second row in Round Five against Wavell SHS and Round Six against St Mary’s College Toowoomba.

Tyrell Schwenke started in the front row in Queensland White’s Match One 10 – 8 victory against New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges.

Tyrell Schwenke also started in the front row in Match Two against New South Wales Combined High Schools and started from the bench in the Semi-Final against Queensland Maroon with Tyrell Schwenke making the first hit-up of the match from the kick-off.

William Hamblin started at fullback for Keebra Park SHS in Round Five of the Renouf Cup against Mabel Park SHS with William Hamblin scoring in the 44th minute when after receiving a pass from his right forty metres out from the try line and after running to his left William Hamblin was able to get on the outside of the Mabel Park SHS right sided defensive line, William Hamblin raced down the left touchline to score in the left corner.

William Hamblin also recorded a try assist in the 33rd minute when from ten metres out from the try line and on the left side of the field William Hamblin was able to separate himself from one defender and get an off-load away to Jett Rimaputa who raced ten metres to score in the left corner.

William Hamblin also recorded a line break assist in the 4th minute when thirty seven metres from the try line William Hamblin was able to get a pass away to his right to put him away down the right touchline.

William Hamblin made another good run in the 22nd minute from the right of a Keebra Park SHS scrum win with William Hamblin able to get the ball five metres into Mabel Park SHS territory after commencing his run five metres inside his own territory, After being awarded a penalty at the end of his run, William Hamblin took a quick tap and was able to make an additional sixteen metres.

William Hamblin continued at fullback in Round Six against St Mary’s College Toowoomba with William Hamblin scoring twice with William Hamblin converting his own try from in front of the goal posts in the 36th minute.

William sped down the left touchline before executing an in and away to beat the fullback and continue to run down the touchline to score in the left corner.

William Hamblin completed his double in the 36th minute with yet another long range effort. With St Mary’s attacking the try line, William Hamblin executed a one on one strip just four metres from his own try line and in front of his own goal posts, William Hamblin got to his feet and after a quick look back at the referee William Hamblin raced ninety six metres downfield to score under the posts. William Hamblin then stepped up to convert his own try from directly in front.

William Hamblin also came close to scoring in the 20th minute with an acrobatic dive to put the ball down in the right corner after a twenty metre run down the right touchline but the touch judge ruled that William Hamblin had put his right foot on the touchline just before his dive towards the corner.

William Hamblin also recorded a line break assist in the 16th minute when after taking a long kick on the full in front of his own posts with William Hamblin running to twenty metres out from his own line before veering to his left and getting a pass away to his left to Jett Rimputa who was able to make a long line break down the left touchline.

William Hamblin also started at fullback in the Round Seven Gold Coast School Boy derby against PBC SHS with William Hamblin converting Denzel Silby’s 42nd minute try from ten metres in from the right touchline.

In late September 2023 Will Doyle was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup squad.

In 2023 Will Doyle played for the Bilambil Jets in the NRRRL competition including starting in the centre and scoring a double in the NRRRL U18 Grand Final victory against the Murwillumbah Mustangs.

Will Doyle scored on eight occasions over the course of the 2023 NRRRL U18 season.

In late September 2023 Aiden Gersh was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup squad.

The Mullumbimby youngster commenced training with the Titans JTS Program and was part of the Titans 2022 U14 JTS High Performance Academy Group 18 squad that commenced training in November 2022.

In early December 2022 Aiden Gersh played for the Titans U14 Group 18 Academy against the Titans U14 Group One Academy in a trial match at Ballina with both teams wearing Titans jerseys in a great initiative for the players from both Titans squads.

Round One of the 2023 School Boy Langer Cup competition saw Aaron Singh-Goesel named on the bench for PBC SHS against Marsden SHS with Aaron Singh-Goesel operating at left second row after coming off the bench in the 22nd minute with Aaron Singh-Goesel charging onto the ball in the 24th minute to carry the ball from twenty five metres out from his own try line to within eight metres of the try line.

Aaron Singh-Goesel was also named on the bench for Round Two against Caloundra SHS with Aaron Singh-Goesel coming off the bench to operate at left second row in the 22nd minute with Aaron Singh-Goesel’s initial run coming shortly after with Aaron Singh-Goesel making fourteen metres down the left channel from his own twenty metre mark.

Then in the 46th minute Aaron Singh-Goesel carried the ball within eight metres of the halfway mark and making fourteen metres to the left of the play the ball.

Then in the 54th minute Aaron Singh-Goesel made a good covering tackle moving to his left and round three metres from the try line on the Caloundra SHS fullback who had tried to slide a gap but Aaron Singh-Goesel uickly and efficiency closed it.

In early August 2022 Aaron Singh-Goesel was deservedly named as one of the four 2022 Tom Searle Rugby League Scholarship winners at a ceremony attended by the likes of Greg Ingles.

In late September 2022 Aaron Singh-Goesel was named in the 2023 Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup train on squad and Aaron Singh-Goesel is also U18 eligible in 2024.

Aaron Singh-Goesel was involved in the Northern Rivers Titans opening 2023 U18 Laurie Daley Cup trial against the North Coast Bulldogs in Coffs Harbour. Aaron Singh-Goesel then was part of the Northern Rivers Titans second trial against the Tweed Heads Seagulls U18 MM Cup side at Burleigh Juniors as part of the Titans Annual Super Saturday series of matches.

Aaron Singh-Goesel was also named at left second row for Round Two against the Central Coast Roosters with Aaron Singh-Goesel making a desperate cover defending tackle in the 4th minute on the Rooster right centre who had made a line break down his right touchline. Aaron Singh Goesel never gave up the chase from the inside and dived full length to get to the centre and completely halt his forward momentum.

Aaron Singh-Goesel made a strong run in the 38th minute when after cutting back underneath Jesse Soric thirty five metres out Aaron Singh-Goesel burst through the Roosters defensive line before eventually being brought to ground eighteen metres out. Then in the 55th minute Aaron Singh-Goesel made fifteen hard metres, the majority of which were post contact down the left channel to get the ball to within twenty two metres of the try line.

Aaron Singh-Goesel was also named at left second row for Round Three against the South Coast Dragons.

Aaron Singh-Goesel then moved back into the Northern Rivers starting side at left second row in Round Five against the North Coast Bulldogs with Aaron Singh-Goesel coming close to scoring in the 28th minute only to be held up over the try line ten metres in from the left corner post after a strong ten metre run.

In the 42nd minute Aaron Singh-Goesel was able to make twelve metres to get the ball forty two metres away from his own try line after charging onto the ball to the right of the play the ball.

In the 7th minute along with Brady Turner, Aaron Singh-Goesel did well to hold up the North Coast lock over the try line after he had tried to barge his way over. Aaron Singh-Goesel made another strong tackle in the 27th minute with a heavy front-on hit on the North Coast No. 11 thirty five metres out from the try line with Aaron Singh-Goesel’s initial contact rocking the North Coast forward.

Aaron Singh-Goesel made another good defensive hit in the 52nd minute when he raced out of the defensive line to crunch the North Coast five eight just he was receiving the ball with Aaron Singh-Goesel driving him backwards so that North Coast lost ten metres on the play.

In early 2023 Aaron Singh-Goesel was named in the South Coast Maroon School Boy Open Representative side with Aaron Singh-Goesel starting from the bench on Day One against Met North.

After coming onto the field to operate at right second row in the second half Aaron Singh-Goesel had a huge impact in the South Coast Maroon victory by scoring twice.

Aaron Singh-Goesel scored his first try in the 37th minute with a smart piece of play. Aaron Singh-Goesel was charging at full pace onto the ball on the right side of the field but the pass came to him very low so instead of trying to catch the pass from his left Aaron Singh-Goesel toe’d the ball forward into the in-goal from sixteen metres out and won the race to the ball to score five metres in from the right corner post.

Aaron Singh-Goesel completed his double in the 41st minute when he chased through a short grubber kick into the in-goal out of dummy half from Will Saunders with Aaron Singh-Goesel getting to the ball first to ground the ball ten metres in from the right corner post.

Aaron Singh-Goesel also started from the bench on Day Two against Met West with Aaron Singh-Goesel coming onto the field in the 24th minute to operate at right second row with Aaron Singh-Goesel recording a line break assist in the 37th minute when a good catch and pass to his right from the right of the play the ball and thirty metres out to give his right centre a twenty metre run downfield.

Aaron Singh-Goesel also started from the bench on Day Three against Capricornia with Aaron Singh-Goesel operating at right second row in the 20th minute.

Aaron Singh-Goesel then moved into the South Coast Maroon starting side at left second row in the Day Four third against fourth play-off against Sunshine Coast with Aaron Singh-Goesel chasing a South Coast Maroon kick into the in-goal and tackling the Sunshine Coast fullback in-goal to force a goal line drop-out. Then from the drop-out return Aaron Singh-Goesel carried the ball back to within twenty two metres of the try line.

Aaron Singh-Goesel made his NRRRL First Grade debut in Round Four of the 2023 season when he came off the bench against the Evans Head Bombers. Aaron Singh-Goesel also came off the bench in Round Fourteen against the Cudgen Hornets.

Round Two of the 2023 NRRRL Reserve Grade competition saw Aaron Singh-Goesel start at left second row against the Tweed Coast Raiders.

In late September 2023 Bailey Lebrese was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup squad.

The young five eight from the Bilambil Jets Junior Rugby League Club in northern New South Wales commenced training with the Titans JTS Program, training with the Titans Group 18 U14 Development squad in early November 2022.

In early December 2022 Bailey Lebrese was part of the Titans U14 Group 18 Academy side that played against a Titans U14 Group One Academy side in Ballina in a trial match with both team’s wearing Titans jerseys in a great experience for the young Titans JTS Elite Academy players.

2023 saw Bailey Lebrese continue to play for the Bilambil Jets in the Group 18 U15 competition.

2023 saw Bailey Lebrese represent the Far North Coast U15 Rugby Representative side at the 2023 New South Wales Country U15 Rugby Championships.

Bailey Lebrese also played club rugby in 2023 for the Byron Shire Rebels including starting at outside centre (No. 12) in the Rebels 10 – 0 Far North Coast Rugby U15 Grand Final victory over Lismore.

In January 2023 Kaleb Smith started from the bench for the Titans U17 side in their annual match at Coffs Harbour against the Newcastle Knights with Kaleb Smith coming onto the field to operate in the dummy half role in the 18th minute of the match.

Kaleb Smith also was named to start from the bench a week later for the Titans U17’s against the Brisbane Bronco’s U17’s on the Gold Coast.

Kaleb Smith also lined up in a Titans jersey in mid-April 2023 when Kaleb Smith started at five eight for a Titans U16 JTS squad that played a touring Auckland U16 side at Cbus Stadium as a curtain-raiser to the Titans NRL Round Seven match against the Brisbane Bronco’s with Kaleb Smith recording a line break assist in the 57th minute with a smart catch and pass to his right forty metres from the try line to Taylan To’o who charged downfield to the twenty metre mark before getting an off-load away to his right for Donte Tahuhu-Wilson to score in the right corner.

Earlier in the 21st minute Kaleb Smith made a strong driving tackle on the New Zealand No. 21 forcing a knock-on six metres out from the Titans try line mid-way between the try line and corner post on the right side of the field.

Round One of the 2023 School Boy Langer Cup competition saw Kaleb Smith named on the bench for PBC SHS against Marsden SHS with Kaleb Smith operating in the dummy half role after coming off the bench in the 26th minute.

Kaleb Smith was also named on the bench for Round Two against Caloundra SHS with Kaleb Smith coming onto the field mid-way through the second half.

Kaleb Smith continued from the bench in Round Three against Mabel Park SHS with Kaleb Smith coming onto the field to play at lock in the 43rd minute with Kaleb Smith making a good run to the right of the play the ball to make seventeen metres to get the ball to within twenty metres of the halfway mark.

Then in the 47th minute Kaleb Smith made a strong tackle on the Mabel Park SHS fullback thirty metres out from the try line with Kaleb Smith’s tackle forcing a knock on.

Kaleb Smith also started from the bench in Round Four against Redcliffe SHS with Kaleb Smith operating at lock after coming onto the field in the 25th minute with Kaleb Smith making a good run from a PBC SHS penalty restart in the 39th minute making fourteen metres to get the ball to the halfway mark.

Kaleb Smith then made a great tackle in the 51st minute to drop the giant Redcliffe SHS front rower No. 10 in an instant.

In late September 2022 Kaleb Smith started from the bench for a Titans U16 side against a Sydney Roosters U16 side at Burleigh’s Pizzey Park with the Titans U16 side putting in an outstanding display of rugby league on the way to a deserved and comprehensive Titans 32 – 8 victory.

In early November 2022 Chase Penna commenced training with the Titans JTS U14 Group 18 Academy. And in early December 2022 Chase Penna played in a trial match for the Titans U14 Group 18 Academy in Ballina against the Titans U14 Group One Academy with both teams wearing Titans jerseys.

In late September 2022 Chase Penna was part of a Titans U14 side that played a Titans U15 Invitational NRRRL side at Piggabeen in Tweed Heads with the Titans U14 side prevailing in a high quality contest.

In late September 2023 Riley Buchanan was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U18 Laurie Daley Cup squad.

In January 2023 Riley Buchanan started from the bench for the Titans U17 side in their annual match at Coffs Harbour against the Newcastle Knights with Riley Buchanan with Riley Buchanan coming off the bench to operate in the front row second row in the 27th minute.

Riley Buchanan came desperately close to scoring a try that would have drawn the match for the Titans in the 67th minute when after receiving a great short ball from nine metres out from his left from Cooper Bai, Riley Buchanan charged at the try line and to be honest appeared to get the ball down under the posts but the referee ruled that he was held up.

In the 62nd minute Riley Buchanan burst onto the ball to the left of the play the ball seventeen metres out from the try line and after contacting the defensive line Riley Buchanan spun around 360 degrees counter clockwise and was still able to get the ball within three metres out the try line.

In the 66th minute from the kick-off return from Cooper Bai’s try Riley Buchanan charged onto the ball and crashed into a Knights defender with the Newcastle defender certainly coming off the worse for wear.

With time running down in the match in the 69th minute Riley Buchanan charged down the left channel making sixteen metres from a Titans scrum win inside their own territory.

Riley Buchanan also started from the bench a week later for the Titans U17’s against the Brisbane Bronco’s U17’s on the Gold Coast with Riley Buchanan coming onto the field mid-way through the opening half.

2023 also saw Riley Buchanan continue at PBC SHS with Riley Buchanan starting in the front row in Round One of the School Boy Langer Reserve competition against Marsden SHS.

From the Bilambil Jets Junior Rugby League Club in northern New South Wales backrower Ethan Alcorn commenced training with the Titans JTS Program training with the Titans Group 18 U14 Development squad in early November 2022.

2023 saw Ethan Alcorn play representative rugby for the Far North Coast U15 representative side at the New South Wales Championships with Ethan Alcorn lining up at No. 10 and scoring against New England.

Ethan Alcorn also played club rugby in 2023 for the Byron Shire Rebels including starting at flyhalf (No. 10) in the Rebels 10 – 0 Far North Coast Rugby U15 Grand Final victory over Lismore.

In early December 2022 Ethan Alcorn was part of the Titans U14 Group 18 Academy side that played against a Titans U14 Group One Academy side in Ballina in a trial match with both team’s wearing Titans jerseys in a great initiative by the Titans JTS Program staff.

In early December 2022 Rory McInnes played for the Titans U14 Group One Academy squad in a trial against the Titans U14 Group 18 Academy squad in a trial match at Ballina with both teams wearing Titans jerseys. Rory McInnes in fact captained the Titans U14 Group One Academy side to a victory against the Group 18 Titans Academy Side in a high quality encounter.

Rory McInnes then continued on with the Titans Development Squad attending four sessions in February 2023 as part of a Titans combined Tweed – Ballina U14 Development Squad.

In late September 2023 Jed Mulcahy was named in the 2024 Northern Rivers Titans U17 Development Academy squad.

It is hard not to cheer for try scoring and goal kicking front rowers and that is exactly what this young man from the Kyogle Turkeys junior rugby league club is.

In October 2022 Jed Mulcahy was named in the 2023 Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup squad after yet another stellar rugby league season in 2022 for the Turkeys in the Northern New South Wales Group One Junior Rugby League competition.

Round One of the 2023 U16 Andrew Johns Cup competition saw Jed Mulcahy named at left second row for the Northern Rivers Titans against the Newcastle Knights with Jed Mulcahy making a strong run in the 20th minute when after charging onto the ball to the right of the play the ball thirty metres out from his own try line, Jed Mulcahy stepped off his left foot to get the ball forty two metres away from the try line.

Then in the 33rd minute when to the left of the play the ball and just inside Newcastle territory Jimmy McCombie threw a good ball to his left to a charging Jed Mulcahy who made twenty metres, the majority of which were post contact metres.

Jed Mulcahy showed his toughness in the 31st minute (the first minute of the second half) when after making a tackle inside the Knights territory Jed Mulcahy injured his shoulder and was on the ground in pain for a couple of minutes, but it was no surprise when Jed Mulcahy got to his feet, lined up at marker and then made the next tackle after running out of the marked position to his left.

Jed Mulcahy was also named to start at left second row in Round Two against the Central Coast Roosters with Jed Mulcahy taking a tap from a Northern Rivers Titans penalty forty metres out from his own try line and was able to get the ball three metres into Central Coast Roosters territory.

Jed Mulcahy was also named at left second row for Round Three against the South Coast Dragons.

Jed Mulcahy also started at left second row in Round Four against the Northern Tigers with Jed Mulcahy scoring a great try in the 45th minute when after bursting onto a good short ball from his right from Jimmy McCombie, Jed Mulcahy charged between two defenders before stepping off his left foot to beat the Northern Tigers fullback with Jed Mulcahy putting the ball down mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

in the 57th minute when whilst twenty metres out from his own try line Jed Mulcahy made a smart tackle on a stepping Tigers five eight on the final tackle to effect a change over.

Jed Mulcahy also started at left second row in Round Five against the North Coast Bulldogs with Jed Mulcahy doing well in the 5th minute when after chasing through a Northern Rivers goal line drop-out Jed Mulcahy smashed into one of the Bulldogs front rowers (No. 8) on the thirty metre mark with Jed Mulcahy’s heavy hit sending the Bulldogs front rower five metres backwards at an extreme rate of knots.

On November 8, 2021, Jed Mulcahy started training a couple of days a week with the Titans JTS program with Jed Mulcahy’s first appearance in a Titans jersey in a match coming in early December 2021 when two Titans U14 Development Squads from Northern New South Wales Group One and Group 18 played each other in a high quality trial.

Noah Vakararawa, in the 39th minute made a great tackle on one of the Knights front rower being No. 10 justcentre metres from the try line and five metres to the left of the uprights.

Noah Vakararawa was then named on the Northern Rivers Titans extended bench for Round Two against the Central Coast Roosters as well as for Round Three against the South Coast Dragons.

Noah Vakararawa then started from the bench in Round Five against the North Coast Bulldogs with Noah Vakararama coming onto the field to operate at lock in the 20th minute and almost immediately making a strong fourteen metre run to the right of the play the ball to get to the halfway mark.

Noah Vakararawa then did well in the 25th minute when he chased through a short Northern Rivers goal line drop-out with Noah Vakararawa jumping high to take the ball on the full and then charge out to the thirty metre mark.

At the 2023 Northern Rivers Titans Awards presentation Noah Vakararawa received the 2023 Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup Encouragement Award.

In October 2022 Riley Loughland was named in the 2023 Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup squad with Riley Loughland involved in the Northern Rivers Titans U16 Andrew Johns Cup trial side that took on the Tweed Heads Seagulls at Burleigh Juniors in late January 2023 as part of the Titans Annual Super Saturday series of matches with Riley Loughland starting at halfback in the final two quarters of a very hard fought draw against the Seagulls.

Round One of the 2023 U16 Andrew Johns Cup competition saw Riley Loughland named at five eight for the Northern Rivers Titans against the Newcastle Knights in Newcastle with Riley Loughland operating on the right side of the field.

Riley Loughland kicked two conversions from as many attempts against the Newcastle Knights with his first conversion coming in just the 2nd minute when Riley Loughland converted Koopah Walters’s try from ten metres to the left of the uprights. Then in the 46th minute Riley Loughland converted Beau Hartmann’s solo try from ten metres to the left of the uprights.

Riley Loughland made one of the outstanding cover defending tackles of the match in the 21st minute when he raced to his right to make a desperate diving tackle on the Newcastle No. 14 who had made a line break down the right side of the Northern Rivers Titans right side of the field.

Riley Loughland put in a good attacking high kick in the 45th minute when from the centre of the field and thirty metres out Riley Loughland put up a right foot bomb to the Northern Rivers Titans right corner with the kick too good for the Knights left winger who knocked the ball on whist attempting to take the kick on the full. The Northern Rivers Titans scored through Beau Hartmann from the subsequent scrum win.

Riley Loughland then did well in the 59th minute when he threw a great cut-out pass to his right to put his support into space twenty metres out from the try line, also setting up a last minute try for the Northern Rivers Titans.

Riley Loughland was then named to start at hooker in Round Two against the Central Coast Roosters with Riley Loughland held up over the try line in the 30th minute eight metres in from the left corner post and darting out of dummy half to his left.

Riley Loughland was also named at hooker for Round Three against the South Coast Dragons with Riley Loughland converting Kaleb Smith’s 6th minute try from three metres to the right of the goal posts.

Riley loughland also recorded a try assist in the 53rd minute when from ten metres out and just to the left of the uprights, Riley Loughland put in a right foot grubber kick into the in-goal with Jimmy McCombie racing through to dive onto the ball to score.

Whilst Riley Loughland started the match at hooker he played the second half at halfback.

Riley Loughland also started at hooker in Round Four against the Northern Tigers with Riley Loughland converting Beau Hartmann’s outstanding 51st minute solo try from in front of the posts in the Titans big victory.

Riley Loughland also started at five eight in Round Five against the North Coast Bulldogs with Riley Loughland converting Kwinn Wolf’s 54th minute try from eight metres to the left of the goal posts.

In January 2023 Noah Waldock started on the right wing for the Titans U17 side in their annual match at Coffs Harbour against the Newcastle Knights with Noah Waldock doing well in the 18th minute when he chased through a high kick from Zane Harrison towards the right corner with Noah Waldock taking the Knights fullback into touch after he took possession just a metre out from the right corner post.

Noah Waldock also started in the right wing a week later for the Titans U17’s against the Brisbane Bronco’s U17’s on the Gold Coast With Noah Waldock taking the Titans second hit-up of the match after Ray Puru had returned the Bronco’s opening kick downfield after the matches first set of six tackles.

In late September 2022 Gabriel Salele’a was named in the 2023 Burleigh Bears U16 Cyril Connell Cup representative squad.

Gabriel Salele’a was named to start at lock in Round One of the 2023 U16 Cyril Connell Cup competition for the Bears against the Wynnum Manly Seagulls with Gabriel Salele’a doing well in the 29th minute when a strong run and then smart off-load on the halfway mark.

Gabriel Salele’a had a number of good moments defensively against Wynnum Manly including in the 31st minute with a strong driving tackle on his opposite number just inside Wynnum Manly territory. Then in the 44th minute with the Seagulls on the attack Gabriel Salele’a raced out of the Bears defensive line and hit the Seagulls halfback around twenty metres out and in the centre of the field with the desperate pass by the halfback going forward.

Round One of the 2023 Walters Cup School Boy competition saw Gabriel Salele’a named at lock for Keebra Park SHS against Ipswich SHS. Gabriel Salele’a also started at lock in Round Two against Marsden SHS.

Gabriel Salele’a also started at lock in Round Three against Redcliffe SHS with Gabriel Salele’a recording a try assist against Redcliffe SHS in the 52nd minute when after making a line break from the left of the play the ball when Gabriel Salele’a sliced between two defenders and after drawing the fullback Gabriel Salele’a got an off-load away to his left to put Gazniah To’omaga over to score under the posts.

Gabriel Salele’a also made a good run in the 57th minute making eighteen metres down the left channel to twelve metres inside Redcliffe SHS territory with Gabriel Salele’a then awarded a penalty for being held down too long in the tackle.

Earlier in the 33rd minute Gabriel Salele’a effected a one on one strip six metres out from the try line to get the ball back for Keebra Park SHS.

Gabriel Salele’a also started at lock in Round Four against Caloundra SHS with Gabriel Salele’a scoring a try and kicking two conversions with the first kicked in the 19th minute when Gabriel Salele’a converted his own try in front of the posts. Gabriel Salele’a then kicked his second conversion in the 41st minute from mid-way between the goal posts and the corner post on the left side of the field with a great left foot strike of the ball.

Gabriel Salele’a scored a great solo try in the 40th minute when after receiving the ball five metres inside his own territory and to the right of the play the ball, Gabriel Salele’a burst through a small gap between two Caloundra SHS defenders with Gabriel Salele’a then grabbed from behind by the fullback by the jersey but after getting out of that tackle, Gabriel Salele’a put the ball down under the posts and then Gabriel Salele’a stepped up to convert his own try. Gabriel Salele’a then did well from the subsequent Caloundra SHS kick-off to take a short kick-off on the full on the left side of the field.

Gabriel Salele’a did well defensively in the 19th minute with a try saving heavy tackle a metre from the try line and ten metres in from the right touchline with a push and shove ensuing after the Caloundra SHS player lost the ball in the tackle.

Gabriel Saleele’a continued at lock in Round Five against Wavell SHS with Gabriel Saleele’a running onto the ball to the left of the play the ball in the 23rd minute to get the ball to within fourteen of the try line after starting his run thirty metres out.

From a Keebra Park SHS penalty tap restart in the 28th minute Gabriel Saleele’a ran the ball through the centre of the field from ten metres out from his own try line to twenty three metres out and then two tackles later Gabriel Saleele’a made a further twelve metres to seven metres inside Wavell SHS territory.

Gabriel Saleele’a also started at lock in the Round Six Gold Coast School Boy derby against PBC SHS with Gabriel Saleele’a recording a line break assist in the 1st minute of the match when to the right of the play the ball Gabriel Saleele’a executed a run around before popping a short ball to his right to Jai Billish who broke through the PBC SHS defensive line from thirty metres out from the try line.

Gabriel Saleele’a continued at lock in Round Seven against Mabel Park SHS with Gabriel Saleele’a scoring in the 10th minute when Gabriel Saleele’a did well to charge down a Mabel Park SHS clearing kick forty metres out with Gabriel Saleele’a then able to collect the bouncing ball around thirty three metres out and outpace the Mabel Park SHS cover defence to score under the posts.

In late September 2022 Kanititeiti Sikahele was named in the exceptionally powerful 2023 Burleigh Bears U18 MM Cup squad with Kanititeiti Sikahele part of the Bears squad for their opening trial against the Souths Logan Magpies side at Burleigh Juniors as part of the Titans Annual Super Saturday.

Kanititeiti Sikahele was named to start from the bench in Round One of the 2023 U18 Mal Meninga Cup competition for the Bears against the Wynnum Manly Seagulls with Kanititeiti Sikahele scoring in the 33rd minute adjacent to the left goal post after he had stepped off his left to foot when six metres out with Kanititeiti Sikahele then getting low and forcing his way over the line to get the ball down under heavy pressure.

Kanititeiti Sikahele then moved to the bench for Round Two against the Souths Logan Magpies with Kanititeiti Sikahele coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 17th minute.

Kanititeiti Sikahele’s performance saw him named in the front row in the 2023 Courier Mail MM Cup Round Two Team of the Week.

Kanititeiti Sikahele also started from the bench in Round Four against the Norths Devils with Kanititeiti Sikahele coming onto the field in the 15th minute with Kanititeiti Sikahele making a strong run in the 43rd minute from the left of the play the ball and forty metres from his own try line with Kanititeiti Sikahele able to get the ball five metres into Norths territory.

In the 48th minute Kanititeiti Sikahele along with Cooper Bai made a strong try saving tackle when defending on their own try line on the Norths No. 10 directly under the goal posts.

Kanititeiti Sikahele then came off the bench in Round Six against the Redcliffe Dolphins with Kanititeiti Sikahele coming onto the field to operate in the front row.

Kanititeiti Sikahele then at lock in the Round Seven local derby against the Tweed Heads Seagulls with Kanititeiti Sikahele making the opening tackle of the match along with Zac Kumbamong.

Kanititeiti Sikahele made a strong run with the ball in the 27th minute from the right of the play the ball and sic metres from the halfway mark with Kanititeiti Sikahele and to get the ball nine metres inside Seagulls territory.

In the 2023 MM Cup competition Kanititeiti Sikahele made eighty nine at an average of 17.8 tackles per match.

Josiah Fa’aoso was named in the Queensland U15 Maroon School Boy side for the Australian U15 School Boy Championships.

Josiah Fa’aoso started in the front row in Match One against ACT School Boys with Josiah Fa’aoso making a multitude of powerful kick-off return in Queensland’s 38 – 4 victory with the first coming in the 5th minute when Josiah Fa’aoso was able to get the ball back to the twenty two metre mark.

Then in the 12th minute Josiah Fa’aoso broke one tackle as he got the ball out to the twenty eight metre mark from a kick-off return before two more kick-off returns in the 49th and 58th minutes saw Josiah Fa’aoso get the ball to the thirty metre mark on both occasions.

In the 8th minute after carry the ball back from a kick-off return to the twenty six metre mark, Josiah Fa’aoso, a tackle later received an off-load from his front row partner Christian Rivers and make twelve metres before getting a right arm off-load away to his left.

Josiah Fa’aoso then came off the bench in Match Two against New South Wales Combined Independent School with Josiah Fa’aoso operating in the front row after coming onto the field in the 11th minute.

Josiah Fa’aoso then started in the front row in the Semi-final against Queensland White with Josiah Fa’aoso running onto the ball in the 7th minute from the left of the play the ball and get the ball from the thirty two metre mark out to the forty five metre mark. Then in the 59th minute Josiah Fa’aoso ran an underneath route to the right of the play the ball to carry the ball from twenty three metres from the try line to within seven metres.

In late September 2023 Ruben DIxon was named in the 2024 Burleigh Bears U17 Cyril Connell Cup squad.

In late September 2022 Ruben Dixon was named in the talented 2023 Burleigh Bears U16 Cyril Connell Cup representative squad with Ruben Dixon being part of the Bears first 2023 CC Cup trial side against the Souths Logan Magpies at Burleigh Juniors at the Annual Titans Super Saturday series of matches.

Round Four of the 2023 U16 Cyril Connell Cup competition saw Ruben Dixon named as the Burleigh Bears 18th man against the Norths Devils however a late change saw Ruben Dixon start from the bench and after coming onto the field in the second half Ruben Dixon scored in the 44th minute.

With the play the ball three metres out from the try line and five metres to the right of the uprights Ruben Dixon ran a hard a straight crash line onto the ball to the left of the play the ball and after crashing into two defenders Ruben Dixon initially was knocked onto his back less than a metre out from the try line but Ruben Dixon had the presence of mind to spin counter clock-wise to his right and put the ball down three metres to the right of the uprights.

Ruben Dixon also came off the bench in Round Six against the Redcliffe Dolphins before also coming off the bench late in the first half in the Round Seven local derby against the Tweed Heads Seagulls to round out his strong finish to his 2023 Cyril Connell Cup campaign.

Christian Rivers was named in the 2023 Queensland U15 Maroon School Boys Rugby League side to contest the 2023 Australian U15 School Boys Rugby League Championships.

Christian Rivers started in the front row in Match One against ACT School Boys with Christian Rivers recording a try assist in the 10th minute with a smart catch and pass to his right from the right of the dummy half for his lock to score next to the left goal post.

In the 5th minute of the match from the left of the play the ball Christian Rivers was able to promote the ball from thirty six metres out from the try line to the halfway mark with Christian Rivers then awarded a penalty after being held down too long. Then in the 38th minute from the right of the dummy half and forty two metres from the try line Christian Rivers broke three tackles as he got the ball to twenty metres out.

Christian Rivers followed up with a good kick-off return to get the ball out to the thirty eight metre mark, then in the 59th minute from the left of the play the ball ran the ball from eight metres inside his own territory to fifteen metres inside ACT territory.

Christian Rivers then started from the bench in Match Two against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools and after coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 11th minute Christian Rivers immediately ran onto the ball to the right of the dummy half to carry the ball from seven metres inside his own territory to five metres inside NSW CIS territory.

Christian Rivers then started in the front row in the Semi-final against Queensland White with Christian Rivers making a good kick-off return in the 7th minute to get the ball out to the twenty two metre mark.

Christian Rivers did very well in the 34th minute when after one of the Qld White replacement forwards took an intercept on the halfway mark with clear ground in front of him, Christian Rivers along with Majah Peachey ran him down to tackle him from behind and save what appeared to be a near certain try.

Christian Rivers started in the front row for Queensland Maroon in the Final of the 2023 U15 ASSRL School Boy Rugby League Championships against New South Wales Combined Independent Schools with Christian Rivers taking the second hit of the match from the kick-off with Christian Rivers then backing up to also make the fifth hit-up to get the ball out to the forty metre mark.

Then in the 5th minute from the left of the play the ball Christian Rivers was able to promote the ball from twenty six metres from the try line to eighteen metres out with the speed of Christian Rivers run catching the NSW CIS defence off-load. Christian Rivers then took the hit-up from the penalty restart to get within thirteen metres of the try line.

In late September 2023 Austin Marsters was named in the 2024 Burleigh Bears U19 Mal Meninga Cup squad.

Austin Marsters is a 2022 Auckland U16 Rugby League Representative lock forward who played his club rugby league in New Zealand with the outstanding and exceptionally well regarded Marist Saints Rugby League in Auckland and in 2023 Austin Marsters has moved over to Australia and is part of the 2023 Burleigh Bears U18 MM Cup squad.

Austin Marsters first game for the Bears was in their opening 2023 MM Cup trial against the Souths Logan Magpies at Burleigh Juniors as part of the Titans Annual Super Saturday series of matches.

Austin Marsters started from the bench in the Bears third and final trial against the Brisbane Tigers with Austin Marsters coming onto the field to operate in the dummy half role in the 20th minute.

Austin Marsters was named to start from the bench in Round One of the 2023 U18 Mal Meninga Cup competition for the Bears against the Wynnum Manly Seagulls with Austin Marsters coming onto the field to operate at dummy half in the 27th minute.

Austin Marsters scored a strong solo try out of dummy half in the 41st minute when from thirteen metres from the try line Austin Marsters ran to his right out of dummy half down a right blindside. After being engaged by one defender Austin Marsters was spun around and when facing his own try line Austin Marsters kept backing up and even with four defenders on him, Austin Marsters was able to spin to his left (left going backwards) and get the ball down three metres in from the right corner post.

In the second half of the match Austin Marsters had some outstanding defensive moments including in the 38th minute when along with Zyroam Tauruwa-Herlihy and Bailey McConnell, Austin Marsters made a strong try saving tackle right on the try line on the Wynnum Manly right second rower (No. 12) to stop him from scoring mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

Then in the 66th minute the same three players once again produced a further try saving tackle on the Wynnum Manly halfback also right on the try line and on the right side of the field after the Seagulls halfback had tried to step his way through the Bears defensive line.

Austin Marsters was back to his feet immediately and then from the marker position moved to his right and smashed the Wynnum Manly No. 11 to execute yet another try saving tackle.

Austin Marsters also started from the bench in Round Two against the Souths Logan Magpies with Austin Marsters coming onto the field to operate as a running back rower in the 24th minute.

Austin Marsters scored in the 46th minute when after the Magpies left winger lost a Bailey McConnell kick backwards into the in-goal Austin Marsters raced through to ground the ball ten metres in from the right corner post.

The match also saw Austin Marsters kick a conversion from his only attempt in the 68th minute when he converted Bailey McConnell’s second try of the match from ten metres to the left of the goal posts.

Austin Marsters continued off the bench in Round Three against the Brisbane Tigers but literally found himself in the match inside the opening minute as a result of a Bears HIA from the opening kick-off.

Austin Marsters was involved in Isaiah F@galilo’s 16th minute try when after Isaiah F@galilo played the ball ten metres out and in front of the posts Austin Marsters ran the ball out of dummy half to his right before getting the ball back to Isaiah F@galilo who then put in a grubber kick into the goal to score next to the right upright.

Austin Marsters did exceptionally well from a defensive perspective in the 31st minute when he raced to his right to make a great try saving low legs tackle on the Tigers left winger who seemed set to score in the corner.

Austin Marsters then moved to five eight for Round Four against the Norths Devils.

Austin Marsters then came off the bench in Round Six against the Redcliffe Dolphins with Austin Marsters coming onto the field in the second half to operate in the dummy half role.

Austin Marsters came close to scoring in the 49th minute when from three metres out from the try line Austin Marsters ran to his right out of dummy half only to be held up over the try line adjacent to the right upright.

Round One of the 2023 School Boy Langer Cup competition saw Hai Hiawe King named on the bench for PBC SHS against Marsden SHS with Hai Hiawe King coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 20th minute with Hai Hiawe King making a strong run in the 57th minute with a fourteen metres effort to get the ball eight metres inside Marsden SHS territory.

Hai Hiawe King also made a try saving tackle in the 35th minute when he held up the Marsden SHS hooker over the try line after he had tried to burrow over from dummy half from close range.

Hai Hiawe King was also named on the bench for Round Two against Caloundra SHS with Hai Hiawe King playing in the front row when he came onto the field in the 21st minute and in the 25th minute Hai Hiawe King made a fourteen metre run to the halfway mark from the left of the play the ball.

Hai Hiawe King made a good defensive effort in the 27th minute when after the Caloundra SHS left winger had taken a PBC SHS chip on the full he threatened to run eighty metres to score but Hai Hiawe King ran to his right to making an outstanding cover defending tackle. Then in the 29th minute Hai Hiawe King was on hand to stop the Caloundra SHS hooker from burrowing his way over from dummy half in front of the posts.

Hai Hiawe King continued from the bench in Round Three against Mabel Park SHS with Hai Hiawe King coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 21st minute.

Hai Hiawe King also started from the bench in Round Four against Redcliffe SHS with Hai Hiawe King coming onto the field to operate in the front row in the 14th minute of the match.

Hai Hiawe King continued from the bench in Round Five against Ipswich SHS with Hai Hiawe King coming onto the field late in the first half to operate in the front row.

Hai Hiawe King was also named on the bench in the Round Six Gold Coast derby against Keebra Park SHS however a late change saw Hai Hiawe King start the match in the front row with Hai Hiawe King running onto the ball to the left of the play the ball in the 5th minute making twelve metres to get the ball within ten metres of the try line.

Hai Hiawe King followed up with a run of fifteen metres to within ten metres of the halfway mark from the left of the dummy half. Hai Hiawe King then made twelve metres from a PBC SHS penalty restart to get within thirteen metres of the try line and a tackle later Hai Hiawe King made another run from the left of the play the ball from seven metres out to get within centremetres of the try line mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the right side of the field.

The 48th minute saw Hai Hiawe King take a hit-up from the left of the play the ball from thirty nine metres out from his own try line to get to the halfway mark.

In the 4th minute Hai Hiawe King made heavy defensive contact on the Keebra Park SHS lock front on to rock him back forty metres out and in the centre of the field.

Hai Hiawe King then moved to the bench in Round Seven against Wavell SHS with Hai Hiawe King coming off the bench to operate in the front row in the 14th minute with Hai Hiawe King taking a hit-up almost immediately to make twelve metres to get the ball over the halfway mark.

Hai Hiawe King started the 2023 season off as part of the Tweed Heads Seagulls U18 MM Cup squad.

After Tweed Heads had a Round One bye Hai Hiawe King was named on the bench in Round Two of the 2023 U18 Mal Meninga Cup against the Brisbane Tigers however Hai Hiawe King was a late scratching from the Seagulls side.

Hai Hiawe King made his MM Cup debut off the bench in Round Four of the 2023 season for the Tweed Heads Seagulls against the Wynnum Manly Seagulls with Hai Hiawe King coming off the bench to operate in the centre of the field in the 21st minute of the match.

Hai Hiawe King worked exceptionally hard in the 25th minute when after Wynnum Manly made a line break down their left side the Wynnum Manly left centre drew the Tweed Heads fullback and got the pass inside to his five eight just ten metres out but just as the five eight started to run towards the posts Hai Hiawe King came from the clouds to hit him from behind and force a knock-on.

Hai Hiawe King made a strong run in the 36th minute from the first hit-up of the second half with Hai Hiawe King getting the ball to close to the twenty metre mark. Then in the 43rd minute after a Wynnum Manly knock-on Hai Hiawe King ran back to take possession forty five metres out with his back towards his own try line, Hai Hiawe King turned around and carried two defenders all of the way to twenty two metres out from the try line.

Hai Hiawe King also started from the bench in Round Five against the Souths Logan Magpies with Hai Hiawe King coming onto the field to play in the front row in the 12th minute of the match.

The first of Hai Hiawe King’s strong runs in the match came in the 19th minute twenty two metres out from his own try line and to the left of the play the ball with Hai Hiawe King able to make thirteen metres against a set Magpies defensive line.

Then in the 24th minute Hai Hiawe King, from two passes to the left of the play the ball from a Seagulls penalty tap restart and twenty eight metres out from his own try line Hai Hiawe King promoted the ball to within seven metres of the try line with approximately 50% of his metres being post contact.

Hai Hiawe King added another strong run in the 26th minute from forty metres out from the try line and to the right of the play the ball with Hai Hiawe King cutting back in behind the play the ball and breaking two tackles as he got the ball to twenty two metres out.

Then in the 33rd minute from forty metres out and to the right of the play the ball and five metres short of the halfway mark Hai Hiawe King was able to get the ball ten metres inside Magpies territory through sheer perseverance and effort.

In the 61st minute Hai Hiawe King charged onto the ball two passes to the left of the play the ball with Hai Hiawe King receiving the pass twenty eight metres out and ran over the top of the Magpies left centre before being tackled ten metres out.

Hai Hiawe King also started from the bench in Round Six against the Norths Devils with Hai Hiawe King coming onto the field late in the first half.

2023 saw Ryder Nelson continue to play for the Mullumbimby Giants in the Group 18 U15 competition with Ryder Nelson starting at fullback in the Grand Final against Byron Bay Lennox Head.

At the completion of the 2023 season Ryder Nelson received the Grant Cook Memorial Award for being the Mullumbimby Colts Highest Points Scorer.

Ryder Nelson was also named the 2023 Mullumbimby Colts U15 Group 18 Best Back.

Even though he was still U16 eligible Owen Woods started on the left wing for the Mullumbimby Giants in Round Two of the NRRRL U18 competition against Northern United with Owen Woods crossing to the opposite side of the field to help his forwards out early in the match with Owen Woods running the ball from a Mullumbimby penalty tap restart to get the ball twenty five metres from his own try line after making ten metres against a set and aggressive Northern United defensive line.

Then in the 28th minute Owen Woods picked up a Northern United dropped ball thirty eight metres from his own try line with Owen Woods getting the ball two metres into Northern United territory.

Owen Woods also had a solid match defensively including a great tackle in the 34th minute on the Northern United right centre ten metres out from the try line after he had looked set to score in the Giants left corner.

Owen Woods then moved to start at five eight in Round Four against the Kyogle Turkeys.

Owen Woods then moved to the right wing in Round Five against Casino with Owen Woods scoring in the 32nd minute two metres in from the left corner but that description does not do justice to the movement that led to Owen Woods try.

On the halfway mark Cooper Nelson ran to his right out of dummy half and after breaking through the Casino defensive line Cooper Nelson, when he was twenty two metres from the try line, put in a right foot grubber towards the right corner with Owen Woods charging through to take possession only to be tackled six metres out and five metres in from the right corner post. Cooper Nelson moved into dummy half and after darting down the short right blindside Cooper Nelson got a right arm flick off-load away to Owen Woods who crashed over to get the ball down two metres in from the right corner post.

Round Nine against the Byron Bay Devils saw Owen Woods start at right centre before moving to five eight in Round Ten against the Tweed Coast Raiders.

Owen Woods also started at five eight in Round Fourteen against the Ballina Seagulls and against the Seagulls Owen Woods made a desperate try saving tackle on the Ballina No. 10 after the front rower had made a line break with Owen Woods brining him down from behind less than a metre from the try line mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left side of the field.

Owen Woods was also able to get a result for Mullumbimby in the 52nd minute with a short goal line drop-out to his left with the Giants retrieving the ball just after it had broken the ten metre plane.

At the completion of the NRRRL U18 season Owen Woods named in the 2023 Mullumbimby Leagues Club Player of the Year.

Owen Woods was also named the co-winner of the 2023 Mullumbimby Colts U18 Most Consistent Award.

Tyrese Bowman started at right centre for the Bilambil Jets in the Week One NRRRL U18 Elimination Final against the Lower Clarence Magpies with Tyrese Bowman making a line break in the 43rd off a James Mellor pass with Tyrese Bowman making twenty metres down the right touchline from ten metres inside his own territory.

Tyrese Bowman also recorded a line break assist in the 47th minute to put Harry Chadburn away down the right touchline from thirty eight metres away from the Jets try line.

Tyrelle Waters continued from the bench for the Lower Clarence Magpies in the Week One U18 NRRRL Elimination Final against the Bilambil Jets with Tyrelle Waters operating on the left wing in the first half before moving into the halves later in the match.

Tyrelle Waters recorded a try assist in the 51st minute with a smart pass out of dummy half to his left from a metre out from the try line for the Magpies to score ten metres in from the left corner post.

Tyrelle Waters made a good low driving tackle on the Bilambil left centre in the 14th minute to cut him down forty metres out from the try line.

Round Six of the 2023 NRRRL U18 season saw Leeton Smith start at hooker for Northern United against the Bilambil Jets with Leeton Smith scoring in the 13th minute when from two metres from the try line, Leeton Smith ran to his left out of dummy half to burrow his way over to score adjacent to the left upright.

Leeton Smith could easily have scored a minute earlier in the 12th minute but was stopped just short of the try line in from of the posts after darting out of dummy half to his right.

Leeton Smith also started at hooker in Round Seven against the Murwillumbah Mustangs with Leeton Smith recording a try assist in the 57th minute when after taking a penalty tap restart ten metres from the try line and to the left of the uprights, Leeton Smith ran to his left and when three metres from the try line, Leeton Smith was able to draw in two defenders and get an off-load away to his left for one of his forwards to score ten metres in from the left corner post.

Leeton Smith came close to scoring himself in the 18th minute when after running to his right out of dummy half from three metres out, Leeton Smith was stopped just short of the try lien adjacent to the left of the uprights.

Leeton Smith also forced a goal line drop-out in the 20th minute when from dummy half and two metres from the try line, Leeton Smith stepped to his right and put in a right foot grubber into the in-goal which was grounded there by Murwillumbah to force a Mustangs goal line drop-out.

The 52nd minute saw Leeton Smith run to his right out of dummy half from twenty metres out from the try line getting the ball to within four metres of the try line.

Leeton Smith continued at hooker in Round Eight against the Byron Bay Devils with Leeton Smith scoring in the 8th minute with a three metre run to his left out of dummy half to crash over to get the ball down under the posts.

Leeton Smith also started at hooker in Round Eleven against the Tweed Heads Seagulls.

Harry Chadburn started at five eight for the Bailmbil Jets in the Week One NRRRL U18 Elimination Final against the Lower Clarence Magpies with Harry Chadburn producing a good short kick-off in the 6th minute with a kick-off to his right that bounced backwards with the Jets retrieving the ball thirty five metres out from the try line.

Harry Chadburn also made a line break in the 47th minute down the right touchline off a pass from Tyrese Bowman with Harry Chadburn’s inside pass knocked down by a Lower Clarence defender to give Bilambil the scrum feed deep on the attack.

Zachariah Williams started at right second row in Round Two of the NRRRL U18 competition for the Lower Clarence Magpies against the Kyogle Turkeys with Zachariah Williams’s 25th minute kick-off bouncing over the right touchline around sixteen metres from the try line to get the ball immediately back for the Magpies.

Zachariah Williams also started at right second row in Round Three against Casino with Zachariah Williams kicking two conversions from as many attempts with his first conversion coming in the 25th minute from twelve metres to the left of the uprights. Then in the 42nd minute Zachariah Williams kicked his second conversion from the left touchline.

Zachariah William’s best moment running the ball came from a kick-off return for the second half with Zachariah Williams getting the ball twenty eight metres away from his own try line.

Zachariah Williams then moved to lock for Round Four against the Ballina Seagulls with Zachariah Williams kicking three conversions for the Magpies. Zachariah Williams also put in a good kick-off to get the second half underway with the ball going over the dead ball line and force a Ballina goal line drop-out.

The 27th minute saw Zachariah Williams make a strong run from the right of the play the ball with Zachariah Williams carrying the ball from eight metres inside his own territory to eight metres inside Ballina territory.

Zachariah Williams moved back to right second row for Round Five against the Bilambil Jets.

Zachariah Williams also started at right second row (even though he was wearing the No. 18 jersey) in Round Eight against the Tweed Coast Raiders with Zachariah Williams kicking a 33rd minute conversion from ten metres to the left of upright to convert AJ Hickling’s try.

Zachariah Williams also recorded a try assist in the 44th minute with a smart catch and pass to his right from ten metres out to put Noah Shore over to score six metres in from the right corner post.

Three minutes earlier in the 41st minute it was Zachariah Williams that put the Magpies on the attack when after a heavy hit by Zachariah Williams eighteen metres out from the Raiders try line, Zachariah Williams was able to hold the Tweed Coast player off the ground and then execute a one on one steal. Zachariah Williams heavy initial contact left the Raiders player on the ground for a couple of minutes holding his ribs.

Zachariah Williams continued at right second row in Round Nine against the Cudgen Hornets with Zachariah Williams kicking a conversion from directly in front the posts in the 20th minute.

The 31st minute saw Zachariah Williams run onto the ball to the left of the play the ball from ten metres from his own try line and after running over the top of one defender Zachariah Williams got the ball to thirty metre4s out. Then in the 45th minute from the left of the play the ball and ten metres out from his own try line and in the centre of the field Zachariah Williams pushed away from an attempted one on one strip to get the ball out to the thirty metre mark.

Zachariah Williams also started at right second row in Round Ten against the Tweed Heads Seagulls and Round Fifteen against the Kyogle Turkeys with Zachariah Williams running onto the ball in the opening minute of the match to carry the ball from twenty three metres from his own try line to thirty eight metres out.

Zachariah Williams then moved to right centre for Round Sixteen against the Casino Cougars with Zachariah Williams kicking four conversions in a hard fought Magpies victory. Zachariah Williams kicked his initial conversion in the 24th minute from five metres to the left of the goal posts with Zachariah Williams kicking his second conversion from directly in front in the 31st minute.

Zachariah Williams kicked his third conversion in the 38th minute from directly in front of the goal posts to convert Grant Byers-Brown’s try and kicked his final conversion in the 45th minute from three metres to the left of the goal posts.

Zachariah Williams made an immediately impact on the match when his kick-off went over the dead ball line on the bounce to force a Casino goal line drop-out.

In the 6th minute Zachariah Williams did well after receiving the ball twenty metres out from his own try line and to the right of the play the ball to break three tackles as Zachariah Williams got the ball out to the forty to metre mark with Zachariah Williams’s pass to his right knocked down by Casino with Lower Clarence getting six more tackles after they regained possession of the ball.

Zachariah Williams then made a good run down the right touchline in the 41st minute to get to within thirteen metres of the try line after receiving a pass from his left from Grant Byers-Brown when thirty metres out from the try line.

Zachariah Williams did very well in the 42nd minute with a great take on the full of a Casino short kick-off to the Magpies right just after the ball had broken the ten metre plane.

Zachariah Williams continued at righty second row in the Week One Elimination Final against the Bilambil Jets with Zachariah Williams kicking two conversions with the first coming in the 16th minute from in front of the goal posts with Zachariah Williams then kicking his second conversion in the 51st minute from ten metres in from the left touchline.

Banjora Porch started in the front row for the Byron Bay Devils in the Week One U18 NRRRL Elimination Final against Northern United and in the 4th minute after running an underneath route to the right of the play the ball Banjora Porch ran the ball from thirty five metres from the try line to eight metres out.

In the 9th minute from a Byron Bay penalty restart Banjora Porch made eleven metres to get the ball to nineteen metres from the try line. Then in the 46th minute from the right of the play the ball Banjora Porch ran the ball through the centre of the field to get the ball from fourteen metre from his own try line to thirty to metres out and in the 50th minute from two passes to the right of the dummy half carried the ball from ten metres inside his own territory to twelve metres inside Northern United territory.

Antowne Quinlan-Randall started from the bench for the Lower Clarence Magpies in the NRRRL U18 Week One Elimination Final against the Bilambil Jets and after coming onto the field to play in the front row in the 16th minute Antowne Quinlan-Randall immediately charged onto the ball from the left of the dummy half to run the ball through the centre of the field to within twelve metres of the try line.

In the 21st minute from the left of the play the ball and eight metres from his own try line Antowne Quinlan-Randall made a good yardage carry to get the ball to the twenty metre mark. Then a minute later in the 22nd minute from the right of the play the ball Antowne Quinlan-Randall was able to carry the ball from six metres inside his own territory to seven metres into Bilambil territory. The 31st minute then saw Antowne Quinlan-Randall make a strong kick-off return from the half time restart to carry the ball back to the twenty metre mark.
