The Burleigh GCRL U20 side had a good win against Runaway Bay last night and that has understandable when you see that Titan standout Tristian Powell started from the bench as did Larryon Tevita.
Marist Saints won the match 24-12 and proceed directly to the Grand Final in a fortnight.
Titans contracted Keano Kini started in the halves for Marist Saints in their Auckland Rugby League U16 semi-final victory today over the Waitemata Seagulls.

NRL player of the neat future for the Titans, there is no doubt.
Tremain Spry as usual started at right centre in Round Nineteen for Tweed Heads against the Mackay Cutters again playing all 80 minutes yesterday.
In that time he ran for 95 metres (41 post contact), broke a tackle, played the ball at an average speed for 3.42 seconds and had a 100% tackling efficiency whilst making his eleven tackles.
Titans linked youngster Izayah Petricevich scored a double for Nerang in their U13 Division Two Round Twelve 28-18 loss to Helensvale on Saturday.
The double now means that he has scored seven tries from just four matches in that competition.
Powerhouse Titans contracted Brock Priestley added his 3rd try for the season in Round Twelve of the GCRL U16 Division One competition on Friday night for Ormeau as they defeated Helensvale 24-4.
Titans contracted Te Haeata Takamore scored in 5th try from just eight U15 Division One matches in Round Twelve on Friday night for Helensvale as they overcame Ormeau 19-11, playing fullback in the match.

The Burleigh U20 side that played Runaway Bay in Round 16 of the GCRL U20 competition on the weekend had two new players in the side being Joe Tusa who started in the centres and Kalepo Tusa who was on the bench in their 40-14 win.
The brothers were part of the dominant Cairns Brothers U17 side that won the 2018 premiership and Joe is a former Far North Queensland rugby junior representative.

Ormeau U18 Division One centre and Marsden State High School student Andrae Semu was one of the Shearers try scorers in Round 12 on the weekend as they defeated Bilambil 26-22 and has now scored four tries from his last three matches.
Hey Mdrew what is the go with Xavier Coates playing for tweed still , if I was a Titans young outside back I would be blowing up that a bronco contracted player is getting a run before me , he should be playing for Wynnum as all Coast contracted Bronco players do
Young Keebra Park student and Ormeau Shearers half Nayte Saaga scored a double on the weekend but could not prevent his side going down 36-16 to Burleigh.
The young man who is also a stand out Oztag player including being part of the Australian Oztag High Performance Unit has now scored nine tries from just tem matches.
Yeah interesting one mate, I am not sure what the go is there, fascinating that he is a Broncos contracted NRL player but playing for a Titans affiliated side.
Hey Mdrew what is the go with Xavier Coates playing for tweed still , if I was a Titans young outside back I would be blowing up that a bronco contracted player is getting a run before me , he should be playing for Wynnum as all Coast contracted Bronco players do
Talented Kyogle fullback Layne Hardy scored his 8th try of the season in Round 16 of the NRRRL U18 competition over the weekend however the Turkeys went down 34-12 to a rampant Lower Clarence side.
Lower Clarence Magpies second rower Cooper Many continued his 2019 try scoring feats by scoring a double in their 34-12 NRRRL U18 Round 16 win over Kyogle and has now scored 12 tries from 14 appearances for the Magpies.

Burleigh U13 Division One centre Sam Stephenson had a match to remember on the weekend scoring four tries as the Bears defeated Ormeau 36-16.
The classy centre is now up to 14 tries from nine appearances, thus he is supporting a very healthy 156% strike rate and he has also kicked two conversions this season.
Runaway Bay U16 Division One half Jaquan Mahu scored his first try of the season in the Seagulls loss 24-4 to Currumbin.
It was his first try on the Coast since his move from Western Australia.
After scoring in his GCRL First Grade debut in Round Sixteen, Titans contracted 18 year old Will Evans also started on the left wing in Round Seventeen against Currumbin on Sunday scoring a double to continue to enhance his already sky rocketing reputation. Will Evans scored his first try of the match in just the 6th minute.
Will Evans received the ball about ten metres out from the try line near the left touch line. With little room to move and with two defenders in front of him, Will Evans took the first defender on running straight over him before using his strength to get the ball down with two Currumbin defenders desperately trying to hold him up.
Will Evans scored his second try in the second half and once again it was his strength that got him there. Will Evans received a long floating pass and charged down the left touch line once against from about ten metres out. About a metre or two out from the line Will Evans has hit by two cover defenders but was able to maintain his balance to reach out with his right arm to get the ball down just before he was pushed into touch.
Yeah interesting one mate, I am not sure what the go is there, fascinating that he is a Broncos contracted NRL player but playing for a Titans affiliated side.
No different to Reece Walsh playing at Tweed Seagulls, and Xavier Willison and Damon Somerville playing for Burleigh. I think that NRL clubs are being a bit more considerate of young players family circumstances and living arrangements.
Tanah Boyd was the opposite, as I think he was living down here so when he changed clubs (Broncos to Titans) it was probably more beneficial to his personal well being to change ISC clubs...
Just my opinion, nothing to back it up
Edit:
Great to see Reece Tapine named for the Burleigh Queensland Cup side for this weekend's match, it will be his second career match.
Congratulations to Titans Kaleb Ngamanu (wing), Orlando Swain, Bailey Martin (lock), Brody Smitka (front row) and Caleb Gould-Waiariki (hooker) for their selection in the Queensland U16 City side.
Currumbin U16 Division One hooker Brodie Desmond is having some sort of season including scoring a double and kicking a conversion for the Eagles as they defeated Runaway Bay 24-4 in Round 12 on the weekend.
The double means that he is now scoring at a strike rate of above 100% in his eleven matches and he has also kicked two goals this season.
The GCRL U18 Division One competition has a number of talented hookers across the teams and one not to be left out of that conversion is Ormeau’s Charlie Boyd who on the weekend played his 4th match for the Shearers after his move from Nerang.
In Round 12 Charlie Boyd scored a try (his second for Ormeau) and kicked three conversions as Ormeau defeated Bilambil 26-22.
Rangy Runaway Bay U14 Division One fullback Andrew Brennan scored his 15th try from just 11 matches last weekend in Round 12 but it was not enough to prevent Runaway Bay going down to the unbeaten Burleigh side.
Burleigh centre Damon Somerville made it three tries from as many appearances for the Bears in Round 12 of the GCRL U18 Division One competition as they defeated Helensvale 38-18 over the weekend.

Tough hard running, hard tackling Southport front rower Taelon Te Whiu-Hopa added another piece to his ever growing reputation last weekend when he scored a double for the Tigers in Round 12 of the U14 Division One competition as they overcame Mudgeeraba 20-16.
Titans contracted Ezra Ubaldino moved from the centres to the second row of the Burleigh U16 Division One side’s Round 12 clash last Friday night and scorers as Burleigh, who are going through a bit of an injury crisis had a good 40-16 win over Southport.
Ezra Ubaldino has now scored three tries in five matches and also kicked his first goal of the season in the 24 point win.
Titans contracted Jack Cullen made his first starting appearance in Round Sixteen of the NRRRL U18 competition (not bad for a 16 year old) for Cudgen however they went down 34-22 to Murwillumbah.
Titans contracted hooker Oskar Bryant came off the bench in Round 16 of the NRRRL U18 competition on the weekend and scored his 5th try from just nine matches however his Cudgen Hornets side went down 34-22 to Murwillumbah.
Tyrese Walker is going through a bit of a purple patch from a try scoring perspective in recent weeks and that continued in Round 12 of the GCRL U18 Division One competition when the five eight scored for Burleigh as they defeated Helensvale 38-18.
Titan Keegan Pace has had a great couple of weeks for Cudgen in the U18 NRRRL competition and that continued in Round 16 when he scored a try and kicked three goals for Cudgen as they went down 34-22 against Murwillumbah.
In his seven NRRRL UI18 games so far this season Keegan Pace has scored four tries and kicked five goals.
Titans Scholarship holder Jack Smith had a big match on the weekend in Round 12 of theU18 Division One competition scoring 16 of his Currumbin side’s 36 points when he scored a try and kicked six goals in their 36-4 win against Runaway Bay.

His U18 NRRRL strike rate this season now sits at 50%.
One of the most destructive ball runners in the Titans Development system is Ethan Foster and on Sunday in Round 16 of the U18 NRRRL competition he showed why he has such a reputation when he scored two tries and kicked three goals as his Lower Clarence side had a good 34-12 win over Kyogle.
Gorber Kuwat Chapri did not start the season in the GCRL U20 competition, but certainly is making up for lost time, including scoring a double for Runaway Bay as they went down 40-14 to a rampant Burleigh side in Round Sixteen on the weekend.
South Grafton Rebels Group One U13 player Toby Makings had a big match in Round 11 last Saturday scoring four tries in their 32-12 win over Kyogle.

Jye Boehme through his nine games has a try scoring strike rate of 211% and has also kicked six goals.
Runaway Bay hooker Repoama Morris-Ponga has been one of the standout players for me in the GCRL U20 competition this season and produced a hard working display in Round Sixteen on the weekend and even though the Seagulls were beaten 40-14 by Burleigh never stopped trying and was rewarded with a try.
Titans linked David Neller kicked a goal and a field goal for Norths in their Ipswich Rugby League U14 Round 11 loss to Goonda Black last Friday night. David Neller however continues to lead the competitions points tally by 21.

After finishing Round Two of the GPS School boy First XV rugby competition at inside centre, that is where Titans contracted Kaleb Ngamanu will start Round Three on Saturday for TSS against Brisbane State High School.

Good point.
Great to see former Titans junior development squad member Hamish Ellem likely to be drafted by the Sydney Swans in the AFL Draft later this year from their Academy set-up. He was a talented rugby league and AFL player on the Grafton area, in the end choosing AFL. Good luck to the young man.

Kyogle front rower Damian Wilson scored his 8th try of the Group One U16.5 season on Saturday scoring in Round 11 as his Kyogle side defeated South Grafton 24-16.
All eight of his tries have come in separate matches and he now sports an 80% strike rate.
Young 18 year old front rower Will McCullough has been one of the biggest improvers in the GCRL First Grade competition this season going from a talented youngster to a more than impressive starting front rower for Bilambil.
To date Will McCullough has played in eleven first grade matches this season starting the majority in the front row and will make it twelve when he lines up in the front row for Bilambil on Sunday in Round Eighteen against a Burleigh side who starting for the Bears is Titans contracted Tyler Szepanowski.
The Ormeau Shearers GCRL Round 18 First Grade side has a couple of U20 eligible players should not be overlooked when considering the extent of talented young players in the Titans catchment area. For the side to play Southport on the weekend, Leighman Hohaia Katene will start at half back in what will be his 9th First Grade match this season and Laz Sua will come off the bench in his third.
In Round 11 of the Group One U15 competition Kyogle and Ballina fought out a tight match with Kyogle prevailing 18-12. For the Turkeys Nathanial Ord maintained his 100% strike try scoring rate through eight games with his try.
In addition to eight tries this season he has also kicked 15 goals thus scoring 62 points to date.
Southport U18 Division One player Koia Katu-Roberts has been a great utility for his side and that continues in Round 13 on the weekend when he moves to half for their match against Mudgeeraba.

The Burleigh U18 Division One forward pack (and entire team for that matter) has been outstanding and even though there are a couple of positional changes this weekend for their Round 13 match against Bilambil it is just as good.
The changes include Titans contracted George Etuale-Noa moving from the second row to the front row and Damon Somerville moving from the centres to the second row.
Titans linked Xavier Tauafaiga is going to be a tired young man tomorrow night. He is set to start in the centres for Helensvale in their U13 Division One Round 13 match against Currumbin and then has been named to start on the wing in Helensvale’s U14 Division One match against Ormeau directly after.

With the try Ziah Piggott’s strike rate sits at 150% through eight games.
As per usual Ziah Piggott then backed up to play in the U16.5 fixture.
Titans Will Evans (left wing) and Luke Maiden (interchange) have been named in the Burleigh GCRL First Grade side for their Round Eighteen match on Sunday against Bilambil, however both have also been named in the Burleigh Hastings Deering’s Colts Round Twenty side as well. Both have performed well this season so it may be that they continue to play against men in the GCRL First Grade competition, if so that will give an opportunity to others in the Burleigh Colts side.
One Titan who will line up for Burleigh against Bilambil is Tyler Szepanowski who will start in the front row for the Bears on Sunday.

Sexton was named in the Australian Schoolboys squad last month and formed a lethal scrumbase pairing last year at Palm Beach Currumbin with Tom Dearden, who made his NRL debut this year at the Broncos.
Palm Beach Currumbin captain Toby Sexton.
Now Sexton is a man in a demand, with the Queensland under-18s star being chased by a number of Sydney-based NRL clubs.
