The biggest concern in my opinion with the club is there failure in the under 20's. Group 18 has been known for decades as one of the strongest catchments in the competition yet the failure to bring it together is a jobs for the boys mentality. I love my junior footy and I would wager our Gold coast Vikings rep team for the age group would flog this rubbish. What a failure.

I have wondered why this topic isn't being debated more hotly. It would seem that our entire recruitment strategy is flawed but then again why should I expect anything else when the entire club administration is in the hands of the adminstrators ... we are a laughing stock at the moment.

We would rather buy superstars.

We are a rabble.

Under 20a is rubbish IMO, bring back reserve grade footy before main games

QCup followed by Reserve Grade followed by the A's.

Agreed!

Positives: More competitive. Closer game style to first grade. Gives an option to put some of the older players out to pasture while providing onfield leadership to develop youngsters. Gives a better option to run players on return from injury.

Negatives: Nil. Still plenty of opportunity for the U20s in reserve grade.

Since the inception of the NYC there is no doubt that the local vikings u/20's have been at least as strong if not stronger than what the titans have served up.

78-0 now that's a record that I'm sure will be held for many years to come & if any of the players progress to the NRL I'm sure they will be reminded of the score line for years to come :?)

The coach is the one who needs to be reminded ... is it true he wasn't there?
