THE Gold Coast Titans launched their 2012 rugby league season last night with a commitment to make their community proud.

Titans managing director Michael Searle told the crowd who gathered at Jupiters Casino the club would deliver but needed the support of the community.

"We will evolve as a team and together we will deliver," Mr Searle said.

"This football team has made a difference and this community is united behind the Gold Coast Titans."

Behind the seriousness of the event and the club's commitment to make the finals in 2012, there was plenty of glitz and glamour.

The players looked classy in their grey suits, complimented with blue and yellow ties, but it was their partners who stole the limelight.

New Gold Coast Titans recruit Beau Champion has settled in well at the Coast and so too has his long-term partner Flynn Evans.

Looking elegant and stylish in her little lilac number complete with gold accessories, Ms Evans admitted she liked the sea change.

"I really love the Gold Coast. I went home for the weekend and couldn't wait to come back. It's so beautiful here," she said.

The pair are expected to call the Coast home for the next three years, at least, after Mr Champion signed a three-year deal with the Titans.
